My friend and I chose 680 North for dinner last week. Both of our meals were outstanding. The chef is accomplished and the server was very attentive. We sat by the big stone fireplace and it was a cozy evening of catching up with fine food and good drink. Definitely a place for a great meal! And the scenery outside the big bar window is stunning.

I've been here for their Friday night fish fry dozens of times -- well, about 4 times a year for the last 7 years at least. Same order. Every time. There's a reason for this and that reason is it's freakin' amazing. My order: 3 piece haddock with potato pancakes, apple sauce and sour cream. It comes with a half slice of rye bread and slaw. I of course indulge in a glass or two of wine as well. The fish is breaded to perfection and the portions are large. The slaw is not consistent but it's always good and I'd be lying if I said I didn't kind of like the element of surprise. Potato pancakes are bomb dot com and I love that you have your choice of apple sauce, sour cream, or syrup to accompany them. The decor is very lodge-like and cozy. It's a pretty large dining room area with a big bar, and an additional more private room. They even have outside seating looking over the golf course in the warmer months. The staff is always friendly and the bartender that's almost always there is a gem. For the most part we always have great service, but I've heard they don't handle busy times too well (think 4th of July, prime time summer nights, etc.). Maybe something to work on. My only complaint: the bathrooms. Although they are clean, I really despise the doors on each stall. Whoever though that swinging barn doors were a good idea thought wrong. Kinda awkward and definitely not enough privacy. I will continue to come here for Friday night fish fry EVERY time I'm in Green Lake. I seriously always look forward to my meal here. Can't wait to be back in the summer!

Very, very average. Many items on the menu sound really good. However, the two items we ordered were mediocre at best. Very bland.

Recently I had my new favorite, the Maple Glazed Salmon... highly recommend! My wife's meal however was a little lacking, it was a special that day, some type of shrimp risotto that was lukewarm and a little mushy, the side salad was also a wilted, not fresh. This was a let down, because I usually enjoy my meals at the Pig.... Especially the desserts! I'm going to say this was a one off, and will be back for the Honey Glazed Salmon, and of course, the desserts!

Have extended their seating to include outdoor seating. I love eating outside, would love to see them create a divider between the outdoor seating and road, otherwise very nice. Had the Bloody Mary with chaser, slightly spicy, was very good. We started with the tempura brussel sprouts, absolutely delicious. We kept changing our minds on what to eat and we decided on the brisket grilled cheese and we were not disappointed. The Gouda cheese, brisket, and mushrooms were a great flavor. Server was amazing and very accommodating. All in all a fantastic lunch. Highly recommend.

Our party of four had 3 appetizer sized small plates and 4 main courses (Walleye, Carbonara, and Bolognese). All the food was excellent, but the favorite for all of us was the crispy potato small plate. Our server was very pleasant, but she was new and not yet thoroughly familiar with the menu. It's a bit pricey, but I think the quality justifies the cost. One cautionary note: the menu, including the bar offerings, is relatively limited, so if you're looking for enormous variety you might be disappointed. I suggest you check the menu online in advance. We will definitely be back.

Service was super friendly and knowledgeable. A bit slow to get food out but they do make everything from scratch! Gave us plenty of time to chit chat. Some interesting seating options, some private areas and also the main area too. Great place for a date, slightly dim lighting. Street parking only. Overall, will continue to come back. Interesting options on the menu. Per the server, it's printed daily. Happy eating!
