I was in dire need of gas. So I pulled into the closest gas station to me. Which happened to be this one. They only had 4 pumps. And 1 of them wasn't working. So they were actually 3 working pumps. So I had to wait a for a pump to open up. Finally get to the pump, and I put my card in and removed my card, and was able to pump my gas. My rank was full, and I was on my way. Happy they were there, cause I know my car was about to die without gas. I was on fumes when I pulled in. read more

Does 7-Eleven is going to router some of these cheaper hole in the wall, gas stations, and claiming that their restroom facilities are out of service. They don't have restroom facilities!!! By law, in the state of Texas at least, if you serve food, you have to have restroom facilities. Don't stop at 7-Eleven here... They're all excuses. read more

DO NOT COME HERE!!! Ever since they sold the new Indian owner is HORRIBLE!!! I have been coming here for YEARS until recently the previous owners had sold. I thought I would give it another try but not anymore!! I brought MY OWN cup in as I had always done in the past . Then he wants to charge me for ice -like what?? There is more ice wasted in the bin than I have in my own small cup! ALSO- paying customers are no longer allowed to use the restrooms. So guess what- ppl are now using it by the trash bin outside! NEVER WILL I EVER GIVE THIS MAN MY MONEY- NOT EVEN .75¢ for ice! Oh yah lottery machines shut down at 7pm as well. Every night. BTW He called the cops. Absolutely worst 7-Eleven on this planet. The customer service is atrocious. Literally will blatantly steal money from you & tell you that you "must have counted the money wrong" when they don't give you any change back. Not once, not twice, but 4 times. And not to mention their bogus "policy" which claims to only accept Texas ID? Even though I am a Texas native, have a passport, and paperwork to back that my license is being renewed, they would rather argue with you at the counter, than type in the god damn DOB like any other 7-Eleven in Austin. Probably nobody reads 7/11 reviews unless they are already mad but, I'm mad so I'm writing. I live across the street from this location and have frequented it for years. The past few times I have gone in, at a normal hour, they are doing inventory and nobody is at the counter to check me out. I have put my items back and walked out, three times. Then I bought an insane amount of ice for an event that got pushed last minute. I didn't get more than 3 minutes down the road before being told this so immediately went back to return it because, it's an insane amount of ice! What would I do with it? Owner (franchise) wouldn't help me other than to tell me if I put the ice back and people bought it, they would refund me. So I was supposed to walk out of the store without anything and then, how were we to determine if my ice was purchased? I called the corporate number I found online and they were surprisingly easy to get a hold of but also misguided me at every turn. My last call was being "escalated to the district manager" but, I never heard back. Yes, I know it's insane to be mad about not being able to return ice. It was the combo of my recent experiences and this latest one that compelled me to write this. Also their pumps are always backed up and/or broken. read more

Gas stations are never something I worry too much when it comes to service and reviews. I've been super lucky and it seems most are normal, easy service, and I'm in and out. I felt compelled to write one for this location because it was awful. I got to the register and the employees seemed more concerned about chatting with each other than the line that was forming. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Carol Castillo refused to sell beer to sell my boyfriend (who is 24) with a US-issued passport. She said it is "store policy" to only accept TX-issued identification cards. This seems like a gross misuse of store sovereignty and I plan to submit a claim on BBB. She then proceeded to call the police on us when we took issue with her claim. read more

This is a good 7-Eleven, medium to large sized, and it has everything your heart desires in a convenience store. And by that I mean Slurpees! And donuts and grab n go, and beer/wine, and lots of snacks and drinks. And scratch offs, can't forget those. And brown paper bags of shell-on peanuts. I even noticed they had some Christmas gift items leftover and a large rack of sunglasses. So they have pretty much everything. There is a Texaco station attached with competitive prices for gas in the Westlake area (which of course means higher than the rest of Austin, gulp). A good place to grab a Slurpee for me, my son, and the hubs, and also to grab a snack item on my way home from work. I'm so glad 7 Eleven is taking over Austin, finally. read more

In a time of a world pandemic with guidelines to wear face masks and no using your own cups for drink refills, this store is allowing people without masks on into their store and allowing people to microwave their own home food in their own Tupperware. How is that helping stop spread disease. Asked the manager who had an attitude and didn't seem to care. Not good in this terrible situation. read more

What ever happened to "the customer is always right?" Well, I'll let y'all answer that. I had an awful experience here... no such thing as customer service and management couldn't care less if they tried. My experience: I was told I could get $10 cash back if I bought gas inside the store, instead of at the pump. Apparently nobody at the register knew this wasn't true until it didn't prompt cash back as an option. I then purchased a lip balm on a second transaction, just so I could get the maximum $10 cash back, the girl handed me the cash without saying anything, but she had a very annoyed look on her face. It gets better... I went outside to pump my gas and it wouldn't start. I went inside and the same girl at the register rolled her eyes as I was opening the door and she abruptly said that it has a 3 minute time out. I asked what she can do to fix it for me, because nobody told me that. She snapped at me and just kept saying it's a 3 minute time out. I told her I didn't appreciate the way she was talking to me and she told me I can speak to the manager if I wanted! The whole time I talked with the manager, the employee was talking in the background in a frustrated tone to a co-worker. I will never buy gas here again! Or anything for that matter. It shouldn't matter if a customer spends $1 or $100- you are supposed to be nice to them. Really disappointed and will not return!! read more
