I was buying a slurpee and they only had double xl out, I wasn't going to buy all of that. And I checked the bottom, they had large and medium, with caps. Can someone help me understand what Mix & Match means inside 7-11? Apparently the employees don't seem to understand that concept. There is a photo that clearly states how you can MIX & MATCH different snacks and it's in the photo. As a staff member explained someone made a mistake in office (corporate), or the manager can't explain to them how this special works. Either way someone was thrown under the bus. I'm a bit irritated, my friend and I just went into 7eleven and while waiting in line I noticed a sign that says 5 for $4. It says right on the sign 1/8 big bite hot dog, and either wings, egg rolls or taquitos. Ok cool I want to get a hotdog anyway and a few taquitos for later. I tell the cashier and my friend reiterated what the sign said, she comes around the counter, sees the sign herself and still argues that "no it's only the taquitos that are 5 for $4." My friend even pointed it out to her where it says hotdog as well. She refused and told us hotdogs are 2 for $3. Ok then take the damn false advertisement down. So now this store gets 1 star because you have signage that states one thing and employees telling us it's not for that product. Pfft whatever!!! My friend told me to get a hotdog anyway, he bought it for me. That's not the point tho. Dont advertise something you are not willing to sell. read more

This place is good. Very friendly people work here and they really try to help. Even though there have been shortages of lots of products they often have everything you could be looking for from a 7-Eleven so I am pretty glad to have it here. Often there are also people around the place but they just like to hang around for whatever reasons and are harmless. read more

When I need an Arizona, Hawaiian Sweet Roll, Slurpee, Heath Bar Crunch, 3 monterey jack taquitos, or (and..lol) Orbit, I can always do a quick run down the street and get what I'm fiend'n for. friendly cashiers. this location is the busiest 711 ever. attracts a sundry crowd both loved and hated by locals. morning hangout for cheap coffee folks and the others - students, artists and blue collar workers to see and be seen early morning. another peak time are nights - often have long lines wrapping around the nacho/pizza/hotdog grill my fave is the late night - especially on weekends. ratchet types posing and unshaven techies get their late night munchies for that 2am slurpee brain freeze. a place where lovers and friends meet and people sit outside in the front gossiping or inside cars in the dark patches of the parking lot - either people watching or cheaters busting. read more

It's an alright 7-11 so don't expect anything fancy from here. They have an alright selection of goodies. Also this isn't in Palo Alto, it's in East Palo Alto so you'll see people loitering in the front of the 7-11 smoking or drinking, it's ghetto. It's an American 7-eleven, don't expect a 5 star experience like in Japan or Taiwan, it's just a spot where you can find some quick food and drinks at good prices. The workers are friendly, the folks hanging out there eye you a bit but they're harmless, and you may encounter the occasional panhandler if you go during the day but all that is within reason at 7-eleven. Now for the food. They have a good selection of pretty much anything quick and unspecific you may want whether it's Chips, Soda, Non-spirit Alcoholic Drinks, or some of the hot foods they have under those heaters. I usually drop by to grab some taquitos and buffalo rollers. Sometimes they're fresh, sometimes you can tell they've been sitting under the warmer for 5 hours, but for less than a buck each they're decent. They also sell entire pepperoni pizzas that they nuke in an oven from the future for around 2 1/2 minutes from frozen (How???) when you order it and I've gotta say it's not bad at all and about the same if not slightly better than Little Caesars. I don't recommend the wings or pizza slices under the warmers though, those tend to be soggy and dry in my experience. Anyways this review is probably too long for this store but whatever. Good place, have low expectations, get some cheap snacks, enjoy your food/drink. read more
