Single Scoop Strawberry Cheesecake in a Waffle Cone.
Cindy Z.

It was a hot day and we were craving ice cream, so here we went. It's located with Togo's Sandwiches, which is interesting. We happened to have arrived when it was crazy busy as well, so I didn't bother trying any flavors. I went for the single scoop of Strawberry Cheesecake in a waffle cone. We were attempting to use a coupon, which the cashier seemed to question us. Nonetheless, it work out. The flavor and waffle cone was definitely on point, so good go-to ice cream spot with classic flavors.

Conveniently in the same location as the sandwich place Im eating in? Score. I always go pistachio almond as it's something Ive loved since I was a child. The worker asked me if I didnt like coconut. ??? No i love it and she gave me a sample just for the heck of it. Super nice. Someone told me it's winter but i sat outside and it was almost 70 degrees F. Weird to say I ate ice cream outside in late December

Fast service and a very kind employee assisted me tonight around 8:30. I went to pick up a tub of Oreo ice cream and one of rocky road. These are in a freezer accessible to customers so they can pick and bring up to the register. Minus one star because the ice cream was way too soft, borderline soupy(attached a picture but don't think is shows how soft it was). Unsure if the freezer was on its last leg or if they purposely have the freezer setting that low. I live 5 minutes away from this location so it wasn't sitting out long at all. Been to other locations and have never had this issue

My patty melt was literally the BEST PATTY MELT I've ever had in my life. Perfectly seasoned, crispy, juicy. Fries were excellent. I had a tiny cup of pineapple-sweetened coleslaw for $6, not mind-blowing though. For dessert I had a flawless cherry crumble, heated with a scoop of ice cream. I paid about $50 for this lunch. IT WAS WORTH IT. Can't wait to go back!

We always ask for a table with chairs because I have back problems and can't sit in their totally worn booths and the host has never had a problem with that request. But yesterday the regular host wasn't there and we were told they were busy and we had to sit at the counter or in a booth because they didn't want to put us the two of us at a table for four (there were two tables available). We waited for nearly ten minutes and when I asked again if we could sit at one of the tables was almost rudely told no, they were busy. So we left and went to Joanie's on California Avenue. They were also busy but immediately seated us and we had a much better lunch. Sometimes it's good to change things up as we'd forgotten how kind and attentive all the of the staff are at Joanie's and how much better the food was. And both of our plates of food came out hot and perfectly cooked which doesn't always happen at the Creamery. I guess we just eat there for the memories. My husband said none of the staff at the Creamery seem happy except for the host so if we don't see him seating the guests, we'll just go to Joanie's.

While I know there's a location in San Francisco, I'm rarely in that area anymore since I'm mostly in Palo Alto these days. That's why I was absolutely thrilled to find SomiSomi, which completely filled that taiyaki-shaped hole in my heart! My usual at Uji Time was black sesame soft serve, but since it wasn't on the menu here, I happily went with Ube, which I also adore. I got it in a cup with a fish cone on top for $6.95 (plus tax). Beyond the soft serve, I also tried some of their taiyaki with various fillings. While they were all delicious, the cheddar one really surprised me! Its savory flavor was a standout and actually became my favorite. SomiSomi offers really good prices for a sweet treat. Many other places are super expensive, so it's nice that even with the extra taiyaki, I felt it was worth it. Just a soft serve would have been under $10, which is fantastic. I'll definitely be coming back here. As for service, they have a self-service kiosk system, which I actually prefer. It's easy to see all the options and place your order. They have block seating inside, which is cool, but it feels more like a grab-and-go spot since there aren't any tables. Perfect for a quick treat on the fly! I really like this place and will absolutely be a repeat customer!

Pinkberry is a counter-service frozen yogurt shoppe located on the El Camino Real side of the mall. The small, but clean venue is compact, likely with a maximum occupancy of about thirty persons in the customer area. At peak times, especially during warm days, the compact store can get crowded, which can impact customer comfort and the overall experience, especially with only about two to three tables available for outdoor seating. The menu offers refreshing COLD BREW FRUIT TEAS, fresh fruit smoothies, rotating seasonal flavours of frozen yogurt, and a variety of toppings from cereal to fruit to Nutella. While they have a wide selection of toppings, they stick to a small menu of froyo flavours, one of which is always dairy-free. Classic flavours that are permanent residents are original and chocolate hazelnut. If you are indecisive over which yogurt flavour(s) to choose, the staff will happily provide small samples to taste. Z and V almost always go for the chocolate hazelnut over the tart fruit flavours. The STRAWBERRY HIBISCUS COLD BREW FRUIT TEA is also a delightful drink. The staff is typically friendly and accommodating. Service is pretty quick, but during busy times, long lines and quickly grow.

I came in for a takeout order and checked in with the cashier, the asian girl with the RBF, who acknowledged me and told me to wait. I stood there the entire time, yet somehow four other takeout orders were fulfilled before mine, and even two walk-in customers received the exact same item I had orderer plus extra add-ons. When I followed up, instead of apologizing or trying to fix the situation, the cashier gave me attitude and claimed she "never saw me," which is simply not true. There was zero accountability. I was then told I could either wait another 15 minutes or take an empty cup with low-quality yogurt -- followed by "what do you want me to do about it?" That response was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. Mistakes happen, but the way this was handled with dismissiveness and no effort to make it right is unacceptable. As a loyal customer, I expected much better service and basic courtesy. I left feeling frustrated and disrespected, and I'll seriously reconsider coming back.

When I visited on a Monday night, it was almost completely empty. However, when I drop in on weekends, it's much more lively. I've never had a negative experience with the employees at this shop, who let you sample a couple flavors before you order. The inside is small and feels vintage. There's a couple tables indoors and more seating outdoors. I genuinely love the gelato here. It may be for sentimental reasons, but I truly think the gelato here is unmatched by any other ice cream place I've visited. I love the soft and slightly stretchy texture of the gelato. It's definitely softer than other ice cream I've tried, but I honestly prefer this type of elasticity. The flavors are very classic: I love the strawberry fresca, lychee, and stracciatella flavors. This is definitely a comfort spot for me and home to some absolutely delicious gelato!
