Worst 7-11 ever. Had a coupon on my account. Tried to redeem it. They tell me it's for the small version. I asked where is that and they don't show me. The customer service is so bad (rude). I came here to pull out money which went fine. When I tried to purchase two candy bars, was where the problem was. The sign named 3 different candy bars on it at 2 for $5. I chose two from the sign, went to pay and he charged me $4 each. I was trying to tell him but he was on the phone. He handed me my change. When I said, they are 2 for $5 he told me no, it has to be two of the same kind. I said I would take two Twix and he told me that the transactions already been done so there is nothing he can do. By now, I'm calling BS. I told him to give me my money back because I am not paying $4 for each candy bar. He just kept repeating that there is nothing he can do. I usually would never leave a review for a 711 because you really don't expect much lol but the cashier behind the counter is probably the rudest one I've come across, he's talking on the phone in another language, not even paying attention to who he's checking out, also when it says if you would like to save money for entering your 711 number, he tries reaching around, saying no, so I made him go back so I could use the coupon and he got very frustrated and mad, Lol this used to be an awesome 711 with great people working there. I'm a blue collar woman in the painting and drywall industry and I stop at 7-11s all over San Diego to LA I came to this specific location to grab some snacks and as I'm waiting I notice a man come out from behind the drink area and staring at me the cashier comes from the opposite side of the store and starts talking to him in their language I don't think anything of it until I notice him staring at me as well . He walks over and asks me how I'm doing and says "oh you like bananas?" Like obviously I'm grabbing two and I politely banter with him back and say "yes,their good for my leg cramps" , he proceeds to stare at my chest and say "do you have a boyfriend" I said actually I'm married (I'm not but I wear a ring so that I don't get bothered) and show him my hand . He the. Says oh you're married and laughs then looks at the other guy and starts saying something and laughs with him , then says since you like banana do you like man's banana I have a sever ear infection so my hearing is basically nonexistent so I asked him to repeat himself about 4-5 times and he goes "oh my god you don't understand me" I replied with "I understood that" and he's continues to ask me if I like "man's banana" when I finally say it he has like a smirk on his face and is being very weird and I'm like well have a nice day . And he proceeded to talk more about me as I walked out I only noticed because he was staring directly at me and making gestures I'm the only person in the store at this point so I just left because he made me so incredibly uncomfortable and I hope I can spare another woman the way I felt and feel leaving and having to go back here (only because it's the closest store and I needed to get something for my breaks ) I let my boyfriend know and he went in there after me and idk what was said but he apologized to me this morning I just don't care for the apology because he would have never apologized if he hadn't done or said what he said . I didn't even want to make eye contact with him so I didn't look at his name tag again but I was able to take a photo while pretending to take it of myself . Not a good customer service experience. Came across rude and not customer focused. Seemed as if the worker was not happy today.

I enjoy this 7/11 because it is a convenient place for an Amazon locker. I love that the lockers are kept clean and is in a clear visible location. The rest of the store is also pleasant and maintains its cleanliness. The foods are nicely packaged and organized. It is your standard gas station snacks. I enjoy the protein bars though. The service is quick and straight to the point. The lines go by quickly, and the ey feature a self checkout now. read more

I had a manager come over to me asking if I was the guy who wrote the review on the refrigerator? I said I was. I am glad you that fixed now. And he started going off on his milk costs. How he had to throw away $1,100 in milk products, like it was my fault. That's called operating costs man. I asked him, is that before, or after you tried to push a spoiled product on your consumer? The owners son is the rudest human I ever meant. On numerous times my brand new debit card I just got from SDCCU doesn't work on their outdated machines. Funny my card works everywhere else but there and he starts getting an attitude on it's not his machine get a new card out now. When this place was owned by Frank it was the best 7-12 in Escondido. The new owner has ran it into the ground. Their selection is awful. The Slurpee machine never works and the workers are incompetent (at best) they have limited choice for diet soda and last I checked all the diet cokes were all expired. I'm a single mom, living paycheck to paycheck and he refused my $3 in quarters and said he could only take $2 in change! I've been going to this 711 for 3 years and never had an issue with using coins. This guy was noticeably new and his attitude and behavior was uncalled for. I went to the other 711 down the street and used my quarters to buy my stuff with NO issue. The cashier took my change, counted it and told me to have a great night. What a difference. Every time you go to this 7 eleven, they have some foreign music blasting loud on blue tooth speaker as if its a night club, their home or their car. And there's one of them that's very rude, as he is ringing up my items today, he is having a full on conversation in his native language to another employee next to him as they're laughing. Felt personal amd insulting. When I told him to please pay attention to finish ringing me up and it's not professional to be talking in your language in front of your customer as you're cashing them. His response was to get out of the store. I did let him know I will be reaching out to their management so I really hope they can maybe retrain them on what basics of customer service is. read more

Great neighborhood 7-11. This one has a "throw back" vibe to it (like the 7-11s of the '80s). Very simple 7-11 with a nice Slurpee machine and all the typical items. You can get a fantastic Pizza here for about $7 and save yourself a bundle on the much overpriced Round Table Pizza located in the same plaza. Staff is very friendly. +1 read more

7 Eleven couldn't offer free Slurpees due to COVID on 7/11/2020, but they are trying to make up with it with a free medium on any day of July. So I went in on 7/12/2020 to collect mine. Three of the six flavors were unavailable, so I selected Cherry, one of the cold and ready ones. It melted quickly and I didn't get a single brainfreeze. I would have liked to have been able to enjoy it for a longer period of time. This would have been a two star 7-Eleven were it not for the plastic straws. Any slurpee lover knows that those ridiculous paper straws last about 30 seconds before getting too soggy. Therefore, bonus star for the plastic straws. read more

Been stopping at this place for Big Gulps and a Hot dog for a very long while. came to know the staff who were very quick and efficient at their jobs. However a new owner has taken over, let go of all the regular employees and now have clueless people running the store. The lines run up the aisle and have to wait longer than ever before and kids running around unsupervised. Time for a new store where I can get in and out in less than 5 minutes. read more

I moved into the neighborhood in September, this is the closest convenience store in the area. I've come here numerous times for beer and various other things. I've had mostly kind and/or indifferent service here which is fine. But there is one worker here who is incapable of doing his job properly. He's been rude when I've bought certain un coded things that he had to look up and literally just locked the door on me as I was walking up around closing time. You want to be a "neighborhood market"? Don't stair your customers in the face as you lock the door on them. There was no one else in the parking lot and this what he did.
