I've had them plenty of times but the lady time I went I was very disappointed and frustrated. I had never in the past had such a bad experience. The barista took our order and then proceeded to take other orders and make theirs before mine. I waited almost AN HOUR for two coffee tasting flights that were absolutely horrible. She then disclosed that she was new and didn't know how to make them. I asked for a refund and left. But overall with the exception of that one terrible experience, it's a great place to sit and enjoy some coffee.

One of the baristas came out and told me that they ran out of banana, but I can sub it with something else. I decided on strawberry. I got my drink delivered to me outside and that was an extra service that I really liked. That was a delight and it made my day. We liked them so much that we packed up the leftovers and took them with us while we walked over to the visitor center afterward. That's always a good sign when you're making sure not a single chip goes to waste. We've been here quite a few times over the years, and one thing that keeps us coming back is the consistency. The food is always excellent, and even on busier days they seem to keep things moving. During this visit the restaurant was fairly crowded, but we were still served promptly and never felt forgotten. The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about Maison. It feels relaxed without being overly casual and always makes for a nice lunch stop when we're in Lodi. Helpful tip: If the chips come with your meal, don't leave them behind. They're surprisingly addictive and worth taking home if you can't finish them. The room is large, comfortable and the ambiance is rustic country. I got two Butter Croissants and two Jalapeño Cheddar Scones for me and the husband. Both were excellent, delicious, and quite large. The jalapeño is strong so be certain you like it as it is my particular preference. The service was very helpful and efficient. This place is very professional in every regard and well worth a stop.

If we had questions she was kind enough to answer. We tried the Banana Pudding Crepe and a dragon fruit lemonade with sweet cream. My daughter substituted with Nutella no problem. She said it was so good and tasty. Very filling. The drink was very sweet so next time I'll ask for a smaller dose of the cream. Other than that it was refreshing. This place is nestled between Papapavlos and First Toast and they all share the outdoor seating space. By 10am it started to fill up. My friend and I both wanted a latte as we saw some cute pics on Yelp of their coffee art. I would say that I was disappointed, however both girls told us they were practicing so I figured why not. We asked for cups but they gave it to us in a to go cup with a lid...no point in coffee art if it's going to be covered up lol. After I took off the lid I understood why LOL. At least she warned us and tried. The coffee itself was pretty good, nothing that stood out though. It's a cute shop, with a minimalist/nature feel inside...real cozy. Parking was pretty easy on the street and it was pretty lively when I walked in! Their pastries looked delicious. I decided to go with a plain croissant and a cold brew. Service was just ok... the cashier seemed a bit busy or distracted. Plenty of seating inside! I asked them to warm up my croissant and it was perfectly flaky, buttery and delicious. the cold brew was good and strong! I would definitely return for some of their lunch options when I'm back in town.
