When I got it, it was a little strong for me, so we added more oat milk and a splash of vanilla, and that made it perfect. The aesthetic of the café was beautiful; minimalist, bougie, and it literally felt like a high end neighborhood café. The menu was teeny tiny, so it took us a minute to decide. My friend got an iced Spanish latte, and she said it was probably the best one she's ever had, this was also recommended by the cashier. We sat inside, drank our drinks, and did a little people watching out the window. Parking was a little sketch, but overall I definitely recommend and can't wait to go back.

It felt like I was being singled out for no reason, and the repeated attention was embarrassing and unnecessary. This is a coffee shop. We're not trying to budge the line just because we're brown people. I've never been to a coffee shop where employees were so focused on making a customer feel uncomfortable instead of simply serving people. It completely devastated my peace and made what should have been a quick coffee stop feel awkward and hostile. Customer service isn't just about making drinks--it's about making people feel welcome. Unfortunately, this experience did the exact opposite. I won't be returning, and I certainly can't recommend this location to anyone looking for a relaxed atmosphere.

Compared to other Philz locations, this one has a chill, not-overly-crowded feel that makes it perfect for hanging out with friends or studying by the shore. The drinks are seasonal and workers are open to notes if you have any changes you want to make to your drink. I ordered the Tiramisu coffee in a medium ($6.80 w/ tax) and no changes needed to be made. It was perfect.
