An amazing little ice cream shop. They had some unique flavors of guava and cheese flavor, but they tried to mimic from 85°. I tried it. It is great. However, I ended up sticking with their mint and a chocolate mixture, and it was downright delicious. The service was amazing, super helpful and really, really nice being our first time there. It's a small shop but all the delicious flavors and cute theming make up for it. The line can be long but it moves decently quick so don't be too discouraged. You can try as many as flavors as you'd like before making your choice, and I definitely recommend the s'mores and add in some waffle chips to snack on the side. I will be back soon to try more flavors. Oliver helped us out for the day and they were so informative and friendly, loved the experience. I'm Definitely late to the game. The entire experience is so fun. There was a line (even at 9 at night) but it moved quickly...so don't let it derail you. The flavor selection is so unique...I'm ready to come back to try more!! Sooo creamy and rich and the flavors I had weren't overly sweet. Salted Pistachio brittle and black sesame cookies and cream. Once upon a time, this Faerie Queen was taking a lovely summer stroll on 2nd Street in Long Beach and stumbled upon this lovely place. The servers, Alicia and Julie were helpful, friendly, and fun! I never thought it would come to this, but it seems like the race to be the crown Jewel of ice cream in Long Beach has become a three-way battle. I'm still not quite decided whether it should be Handel's, Long Beach Creamery, or the newcomer, Sorry Not Sorry. Pando's ice cream wins when it comes to variety and the serving size, but more it's not necessarily better. The quality of ingredients are all comparable among the three, but I would say that Sorry Not Sorry has the most innovative and exotic flavors. Service is very personable, but it's more professional and less mom and pop like Long Beach Creamery. The decor is also more Instagram-worthy than the other two brands. Take advantage of the fact that this store is relatively new, and the line is not wrapped around the building yet. It's just a matter of time when throng of customers will overrun this place. read more

Place is clean and bright. There's lots of postings of the menu and descriptions which is super helpful to ponder while waiting in line. The server was patient but I was pretty sure I knew what I wanted but wanted to try it first. It was super late so I was just into getting a cup. I definitely wanted to have 2 flavors for my first time there. I got the pistachio and the cookie butter swirl which is a great combo. Last decision was how big of scoops did I want? I tried to be sensible and just got a split. It's a good thing as it was plenty tasty, smooth, and delicious. The prices are reasonable. They also sell pints to go. I love chocolate and love rocky road but I was hesitant to try it vegan style. I chickened out to even get a sample. Maybe others will post and tell me how it is. read more

There's a new ice cream spot in town and locals are lining up down 2nd Street for a taste. We stopped by Sorry Not Sorry after a few beers at a nearby bar. It also happened to be their grand opening weekend, which included BOGO ice cream. My lucky day. I ended up ordering a single scoop of their hojicha tea and the matcha brownie. Very different menu items, but both were absolute perfection. A single scoop can easily feed one adult human. Their team does not skimp on the ice cream - you can barely fit the lid! I saved the matcha as a treat for a different day and was pleasantly surprised by how well it held up. Highly highly recommend this new ice cream hot spot. read more

I love ice cream and tried to like this place. I came back three separate times to give it a fair review. 1st time: bumbleberry cheesecake - not a fan; overly sweet and felt like I was eating spoonfuls of jam. Tossed it in trash after a couple spoons. 2nd time: s'mores - did not taste like s'mores to me, barely even tasted like chocolate. Underwhelming. Also tossed into trash. 3rd time: OG Buttercake- literally tasted of sweetened cream cheese. I felt as though I could have frozen a stick of cream cheese and dipped it in sugar and got the same result. It's a cute spot for pictures and staff is friendly. I just don't think the ice cream is worth your time and money at all. It's not the worst ice cream, just not worth it IMO. I wouldn't ever buy again. read more

I'm so happy they set up shop in Long Beach so I don't have to go to Cerritos. They took over the poke spot on the west end of 2nd St in Belmont Shore. I love the creative flavors. Sampling is allowed. Being open late is a plus. House-made waffle cones are available and get my thumbs up. There's no seating inside nor out but nobody is stopping you from taking your ice cream to the stools outside the burger joint, exit left. read more

This is the kind of place that you go for the experience. You stand in line with the huddled masses. You peer at the menu board to be ready to order the perfect flavor combination. You talk excitedly to each other as you actually make it inside the shop. Everyone is super polite holding the door for each other because for some reason they don't have a door stop. Finally it's your turn! You first politely ask for a sample of a flavor you would never order. Hm, you ponder, and then order what you had been planning all along. Payment is quick and you're out the door, as the people in line wistfully check out what you got. My recommendation - Triple Chocolate Chunk Brownie in a cup because this ice cream melts fast! read more

So excited to have Sorry Not Sorry just down the street! I have been driving tomCerritos for the past two years just to have their ice cream! So rich and creamy with very fun flavors, really concoctions! Today was their first day of business. Very happy to see it crowded already (that means it will stick around!). We came after dinner (saved some room). We tasted a few flavors before we ordered. So hard to choose and every flavor is soooo good! The staff was very nice and friendly. Add patient as two of our party of four were very undecided and one even ordered a split single (two flavors). The store smells so good as they are constantly baking waffle cones (reminds me of walking down main street at Disneyland). They probably should pipe it outside! My favorite flavor is Coffe & Donuts. The server suggestioned I try a new flavor, Vietnamese Coffee. She gave me a taste and I was sold! It's even Vegan! Nice texture and a deep coffee flavor. My husband had the Matchaberry. I tasted it and knew he woukd live it. Strawberry base, his favorite! My friend had the double chocolate and loved it! There are no tables inside or outside. Wow! This has to be some of the most decadent ice cream in existence! ;) Stopped in due to the reviews, and now I feel obligated to leave my 5 star as well. Went here with the kids, they have a dozen or so flavors, and you can try samples before you commit which is huge as they all sound (and taste) wonderful! The kids opted for a double stuffed cookies and cream, and I went with bumbleberry cheesecake. It was a toss up though as the blueberry basil was really quite good as well! The service was quick, friendly, and the person helping us was knowledgable about their offerings. The place itself is clean and inviting, no seating, but just go outside and you're on the main drag with the beach down the way - no worries. If you love ice cream and haven't tried this place then you most certainly should! It is a bit costly, but there's a good reason why, and I promise you won't regret it. :) read more

I tried them in Las Vegas and was excited to see it come to Long Beach! We sampled a few flavors and settled on the sampler which comes with 4 scoops of whatever flavors you like. This spot is open late on 2nd Street in Belmont Shores - Long Beach, CA. MIt's pretty busy & they move the line quickly. The quality of ice cream was very good. Great portion, decent price, and quick service. No seating and parking is tough on 2nd street but on a Thursday evening we found a spot close by. Would definitely go back here! read more

I absolutely love the creative flavors and the creaminess of the ice cream at this new ice cream shop at the end of 2nd St. There's plenty of staff on hand to move the line along quickly and they're very friendly and helpful. They offer vegan flavors as well, which is perfect for those who are lactose intolerant, and they taste just as good as the regular flavors. My only complaint is that there's an up-charge for splitting your scoop with 2 flavors. It feels steep compared to the already pricey ice cream. read more

Expect a little line, but it moves fast. They allow tasters (always appreciated), and the entire staff was super friendly and patient. I went with the Salted Pistachio Brittle and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. Pricing-wise, it was $6.25 for a single scoop, plus another $1.50 for the waffle cone, which, honestly, was worth it. But call me crazy... $17 with tip for two single scoops still feels a little steep. Maybe I just need to get out more. LOL. read more

My pup only has a few teeth left and she's gotten stubborn when it comes to drinking water. So I'm always looking for treats she can have. They may need more staff to help the servers with drink refills and to check in more frequently. Lastly, our table was very wobbly and we had to fix it with sugar packets otherwise our drinks would have toppled.
