The muffins are awesome and our favorite is cranberry orange....never disappoints and we highly recommend. This place is always busy early in the AM but they seem to be well staffed with experienced crews....owner always seems to be there making sure everything runs smoothly.

There is no waiter/waitress service so you view and select options from the menu and place orders at the register---names are called when ready. Everything worked smoothly and quickly even though this place was very busy. Love that all meals are served in biodegradable plates/bowls. The yogurt parfait was a healthy serving of yogurt, bananas, pineapple, and strawberries---2 thumbs up from the 9 year-old! Adults tried various combinations of there platters and everything was great. Highly recommend the hangover potatoes and the sourdough bread, both very unique. The staff at each one is always warm and inviting and goes out of their way. to help and say hi. My go to drink is ALWAYS a Large Iced West 3rd (if you haven't tried it you should!) We usually stay in Corolla where there is not a location and I ALWAYS make it appoint to drive out to where they are. I love this place so much that at Christmas time I always order a couple bags of their Holiday blend to have back here at home in Maryland since I unfortunately do not live there. I HIGHLY recommend you try any one of their locations at least once while you are there, I guarantee you will be hooked!!!

Located in an older building, the cafe has a relaxing, "stay a while" vibe. We were drawn to the large prayer wall filled individual prayers left by patrons. Soothing, compassionate feel. We are not religious and noticed the highly religious theme of this cafe, which is OK with us as it seems the owners/management walk the talk. They donate a percentage of their profits to charities. We ordered a mango-pineapple smoothie and two decaf mochas. Our granddaughter felt the smoothie's pineapple taste overshadowed the mango, but enjoyed it. We liked that the mochas were smooth, had a rich coffee flavor and were not too sweet. The warmed cinnamon roll which we shared was perfectly done. Soft, gooey and full of cinnamon with minimal icing. We purchased a bag of coffee beans, which this company roasts themselves, for our son for Father's Day. When Manteo, we will be back.
