The manager Marwan (may be spelled wrong), or owner here stopped my pump of gas because I was on my cell phone. No gas station has ever stopped my gas from being pumped for something as trivial as that. This was Thursday morning around 11:45am 1/6/22. There is no visible signs that show no cell phone use during pumping gas for "safety" reasons. He didn't even explain himself or why other than that and had a smug smile. Completely wasted my time walking into and out of the gas station/convenience store twice, because he was power tripping. I already have to walk all the way into the store to wait in line and pay cash because that is my preferred way of payment. So if you are in a hurry, don't waste your time coming here. Marwan will waste your time by taking his sweet time. I remember on new years eve when I came here for gas he was shaking his head about prior customers and muttered something about working on new years eve. I was grateful it was open but he just has a bad attitude and complaining to customers is completely unprofessional similar to stopping my gas pump for no good reason. It's a convenient location, right off the freeway, and of course chevron has the highest tier of quality gas, and the women who work here are amazing, but Marwan kills it.

    How fun is this building?

Much like John Hammond and his dinosaurs on Jurassic Park, I also "like to be present at the birth of each and every one" but I guess I missed this one. But it's only been there 4 weeks. The giant inflatable slurpee on top of the building caught my eye as I sped pass on the 60 freeway. I immediately pulled off the next exit and worked my way back. This is a pretty great 7-Eleven. It's built to resemble a collection of buildings. How neat is that! Outside, they've got Gas. Inside, they've got thousands of ice cold beverages, along with the neatest flatscreen tv/fountain machine I've ever seen. They've got millions of snacks, both salty & sweet, they've got eggs, both hard boiled and by the dozen. If you want to eat here, you can even get a wide assortment of hot foods. They've got cords and cables for every phone imaginable. I'd seriously consider bringing a date to this 7-Eleven. If you think you're going to get lucky, they've even got you covered there too. They've got everything! I picked up a giant meat stick, a king size Reese's Sticks, and a double gulp of Diet Dr.Pepper. All was amazing and wondrous as I'd hoped and dreamed they would be. Seriously. Nice people behind the counter, super clean establishment, neat architecture, gasoline. If you're cruising past and need ANYthing at all. Stop.

They closes the 7-eleven on 7/11. No free small slurpee for us. They would rather loss a day of sales than give free small slurpees

I was really excited about coffee stand but when I got there that bird took a big dump on me. Both of their websites advertised sandwiches, pastries and bagels but there was none there. They also advertised specialty Java and smoothies but again there was none. So I asked exactly what they offered? So I was told they have cold brew with a couple of flavors to spruce them up and some teas but that's it. So I just went with the cold brew straight up and it wasn't bad but not good enough to go back. So this was definitely a miss and I really feel they should update their website ASAP or someone else will drive there and be disappointed. Well at least the service was good and honest. And that's my take on this Blue Jay, Peace and out!

I'd give it a 3.9 out of 5.

I wish they had other options than just jalapeno cheddar for the bagel since my fiance is allergic to cheese. The drinks and bagel seemed averagely priced. When I saw the drinks they looked really small. The Spanish latte was on the more bitter side but overall good.

As i was on my way back to LA I saw this business was conveniently off the 10 Fwy And decided to stop by for a quick coffee break. Strong wifi and cold AC inside is what you can expect inside. They had music playing but very low volume. Good for people who wanna WFH. I also didn't have trouble finding parking. I always find myself at Mestiza at least once a week! My drink go-tos are the Spanish Latte and their unique Bees & Flowers Latte, depending on my mood. As for pastries (which are ALL delicious), I always walk out with either the strawberry Nutella croissant, the strawberry croissant, or an Alfajor! Whatever you get, you'll 100% enjoy it!!

Very straightforward, but really well balanced. If you've never had chicory coffee before, it has a deeper, slightly earthy flavor that stands out from a standard cold brew without being overly bitter. At around $5.75, it feels reasonable for a specialty coffee drink that still tastes unique and intentional.

The line was out the door, but I knew she'd love waking up to a nice cup of coffee, so the wait didn't bother me. I ordered coffee along with three ham and cheese croissants to go. When I got home, my wife was so happy. She ate part of her croissant but didn't finish it. My son did the same and only picked at the edges. I ended up finishing mine and the rest of my son's. About 8 hours later, after grilling dinner, both my wife and I suddenly became extremely sick. Severe stomach pain, nonstop trips to the restroom, and all the signs of food poisoning hit us hard. Our guest had just started eating dinner while my wife and I were both stuck dealing with the symptoms. The symptoms carried throughout the entire night and are still lingering. Both of us have been dealing with fevers, body aches, nausea, stomach cramps, and constant trips to the restroom. It completely ruined what started as such a special Mother's Day for our family. I normally don't leave reviews like this, but I felt it was important to share our experience. I truly hope this was an isolated incident, especially on a busy holiday, but I also hope food handling and quality control are looked into so no other families have to spend Mother's Day ending like ours did.
