Took a little walk on the beach today and I wanted coffee. I ordered the caramel cloud cold brew from their June drink menu, and it was amazing. The perfect balance of strong coffee with caramel drizzle and sweet cream cold foam. I also had the most delicious cinnamon roll. They offered to heat it but I wanted to take it home to eat later. It was so fresh and pillowy and perfectly sweet! I highly recommend this place. My wife brought me to this place she said she was watching someone named Flakko talk about how good the cinnamon roll was so we pulled up. When you step inside it overwhelming because their are so many good looking items but we had to keep it cute and just grab a couple of items we got the cinnamon bun and too egg sausage jalapeno kolachis. I wasnt paying attention or I wouldve got the banana bread latte but life goes on. The kolachis were great seasoned and warm the jalapenos weren't crazy hot but added flavor, the cinnamon roll was good and I like that it was made with sourdough the tang that is added gives the bun a nice balance. read more

I've been to Olive for breakfast many times over the last 10+ years. This was the first time I walked over to the bakery. There was plenty of outdoor seating available around 10 on a Saturday morning. I ordered coffee and cinnamon roll. If you want something a bit more grab and go, this spot is easy. I am absolutely OBSESSED with these kolaches. When I first tried them it was genuinely life changing. The bread is so doughy and soft and the cheese melt is perfect. I dream about these. This is a cute walk in breakfast & bakery location that is in perfect walking distance of the beach. They have a wide variety of pastries and coffee to purchase, along with a little store. We ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese kolache (which was incredible warmed up), the chocolate Croissant (which was average), and the Cinammon Roll (which was dry unless you warmed it up at home). I also got the vegan banana bread, which was delicious. The cinnamon roll, while quite massive in size for the price, was not good cold. We had to microwave it for it to be tasty. All in all, we spent $20 on 4 items, which was a good price considering the location right near the beach. It's a good grab and go kind of place and the staff were very friendly. read more

Prices are better than comparable places, but the Italian soda I got was only okay. It tasted a little diluted. They do have small business jams and honey sold here. Olive Baking Company is a cute hole-in-the-wall cafe tucked in the alley of Santa Clara Pl. I tried a cinnamon roll from here and it was amazing. I'm always afraid that the cream cheese frosting on a cinnamon roll will be too tangy, but this one is perfectly sweet and the dough is incredibly soft. I was walking a block away from the cafe when I smelled the cinnamon rolls and raced over. Fortunately, I was still early but the place drew quite a crowd after I left.
