It's an addiction. And I'm buying scratch tickets because I'm thinking if I'm going to 7-11 to get vapes, which I hate, what's in it for me? So I buy a scratch ticket. That's always fun. And the guys will always wish you good luck when you buy it. And not in a perfunctory way. Like they really mean it. Now I don't win. Nobody wins. Scratch tickets are for suckers. That isn't their fault. One time I won $3. That was a good day. Oh and they have a wide variety of snacks. And beverages. If you've never been in one. I'm sure some people have not. Next time I go I will take more pictures. They also have hot food. I don't see myself eating hot food from 7-11. Even if I'm buying scratch tickets and vapes. Oh, and fireworks! Lots of fireworks which is probably seasonal. Sometimes when I go in to buy vapes the guy will pretend I look too young to buy them. I am in my fifties! I don't look too young! Oh how we laugh. She gave me 2 tickets and my change and that was it . I then asked what happened to the free ticket and she told me that's what's in my hand . I explained to her that i wanted 3 tickets . The free one , and 2 i was purchasing . With an attitude she said to me give me a $1 I'll give you another ticket . That is not how this works . She basically took my free ticket . It was way too early to be that grumpy. This isn't the first experience of that from her either.

Every now and then you stumble upon some unique flavored chips that you haven't seen before. This location also has gas. What makes this review-worthy: The staff. There are a few gems here that are extra polite and always have a smile no matter the time or the weather. This goes for both the inside staff and outside staff. Even the customers seem happy and conversational! It's our go-to for that very reason.

I'm finding that one recurring theme with this chain seems to be that no matter which location I'm at, they all are pretty consistent with their service, value, and overall convenience while their competitors differ from store to store and sometimes fall flat. I had nut allergy n I had to throw the whole item. After leaving the store I checked it. If I knew they gonna do this then I would had checked it at store. We trust this people n they mess it up.! Yep that's main seller here and I have even hit a couple times here off a couple scratch offs. The guys in here are friendly enough but the hours aren't that of a say NY bodega and the selections are pretty limited for a bodega if you are coming for snacks and drinks. It's enough but when compared to what you'd expect from one along with your lottery tickets you'll be let down that said I'm glad it's stuck around a a staple in the neighborhood in the face of 7-11 and S. There is a big difference with this location and the ones near my home. The ones near home don't give you a receipt. You have to request it. Specifically, their cold brew which is extremely smooth and strong, and in my opinion you don't even need to put anything in it unless you really want something sweet, although why would you get a cold brew if that's the case lol. Also packs quite a bit of caffeine so you'll be good for the rest of the day. Their pastries are pretty solid as well, although a bit on the pricier side. The cafe itself is on the smaller side but still an ample amount of seating. It's excellent for meeting with a friend, however the tables are rather small so it is less study friendly unless you manage to snag one of the bigger tables by the entrance. Which is admittedly pretty tough to do unless you get here right when it opens or catch a lucky break when someone leaves - I speak from experience. That said, it's overall a pretty solid spot to get work done. Parking in downtown Summit is a pain in general, I usually just park in the lot and walk over. Limit is at 5 hours and you will have to walk back if you want to extend it. There might be parking available by the cafe, but I'm personally less confident on how long you can to stay before getting ticketed/booted, so do so at your own risk.
