I've been leaving at the college park apartments for at least 5 years. This 7-11 has been absolutely convenient and helpful in many ways. The staff (Amrit) is always so greeting and helpful as well. I have been coming here on and off since it opened. I remember it being one of the first couple of places (if not the actual first) to open in this center. It is so close to the Claremont Colleges that I know the students would be glad they are here. Every time I come here, it's just grab an item or two for food and/or snack and go. Mostly the occasional yummy Slurpee! This was the case today. Most of the workers are generally pretty nice and helpful. The store usually seems to be decently clean. Like all 711 stores, this store just has that outside look even from far away that says...hey come inside and grab something good! Do not come here. Every time I have come to this location I'm met with the rudest service. Took my kids to get free Slurpies on 7/11 at around 9:00. We started heading to the machine when the older worker starts yelling..."no more free slurpies! You must come to me first so I can tell you No more Slurpies." He was So rude and annoying. I was going to buy some for my kids regardless, but then my kids started saying let's not get any, that guy is so rude. Stay away from this location. They don't value customers or their business. Stopped by at 9pm on a weekday to buy some lottery tickets. I'm looking at their lotto tickets, and the cashier dude starts mumbling at me. I asked him what he said, and he stepped back and called over a different lady to help me. I need a few for my employees, so I go back to looking and the two start talking again, looking at me laughing at me and clearly talking sh*t in a different language. At this point, I just want to leave so I ask for 10 tickets, the girl tells me you have to buy something. Okay whatever, I turn around to grand something. At that point, a younger customer came in for a bottle of water and he got the same treatment. The young man stood up for himself and said, "you know I speak your language right? I understood what you just said about me." The clerk was rude and just tossed the water bottle at him. If you don't mind rude, unprofessional, and classless service, this is your joint. read more

This location opened a couple months ago, and is a couple blocks east of the Claremont Colleges, in the new up and coming College Park plaza. Everything looked stocked and clean when I came to pick up a quick lottery ticket. Cashiers were courteous and quick... All done within a couple minutes. While there are plenty of parking in the plaza, the plaza is still under construction, and there are only around 10 spots that are next to the 7-Eleven. read more

The customer service here is really weird. I've never walked out of this store without feeling like the cashier was being unnecessarily rude. The last time we went, my boyfriend just asked the dude not to put water bottles in a bag and he got all condescending and kept smirking and laughing. I don't get it. I come here every morning in my way to work. It's clean and well stocked. I've gotten to know most of the employees and they are all friendly and helpful. They have a big variety of coffee and treats. The location is in a great part of town and they seem to cater to the college crowd tastes since it's close to Claremont McKenna. I see many of the same faces every morning. Lots of local city maintenance workers and construction men as well as professionals and families with kids. There's something for everybody. read more

At 1:20pm 11/3/2019 the cashier purposefully shorted me my change. When i confronted him about it, he's like "im out of pennies" i continue and just say that i want my correct change. This has got to be one of the worst "convenience" store I have ever been in. It's not that the place isn't clean or brightly lit, it's that their employees completely rip you off. I went in not ten minutes ago to pick up some energy drinks, something I on occasion... on sale too cool. Grab my drinks head up to the counter and make the simple request of asking for one power ball lottery ticket. One... just ONE, employee behind the counter rings me up for four, now I do not know where they learned numbers but how I learned them was one means one not four. I point this out that he charged me for four when I asked for one. He then proceed to argue with me while the line builds behind me. I should have walked away and let the moron deal with it since clearly they went straight to saying the "cameras" have me on tape saying I asked for four. Fine take my 15 for what should have less than 10. Never going back here again, maybe I should just not got to any 7-eleven ever. Kinda sick of the lack of even trying to have good customer service standards. My advice steer clear of this 7-eleven if you care what you are charged for and how you are treated. read more

It always seems like I have a bad experience at this location, but just with the same employee. Today was buy Doritos loaded, get a Pepsi free day. I went in to buy a Dr Pepper Slurpee and a tea for the roomies then I wanted to get the Doritos loaded and free drink. I set my stuff down and she rings me up. I hand her my money and ask about the free drink. She said she had to scan the app AFTER she gives me my change. I couldn't get my phone out before cuz my hands were full and instead of saying "if you have the app, you get a free drink", she gives me additude about it and doesn't offer to cancel the transaction and re ring me up. She's a bitch and I'm now wiling to drive out further to the next closest 7-11 now! read more
