I really love 7 leaves but this location just makes it seem like they did me dirty twice. Once I drove here and parked thinking they were open for take in orders. NOPE staffs told me I had to go through the drive thru and there were no signs posted anywhere about drive thru only. Line for drive thru was long already so I left empty handed. Today I decided to come back and went through drive thru. Unfortunately the intercom had a paper stated CASH ONLY. I am fine if it is cash only, but it would definitely been more convenient and efficient for customers to know before entering drive thru. Especially during this pandemic who would want to carry cash?! Anyways I waited in the drive through for a good 5 mins and left empty handed once again. I first start trying this place out back in January if 2021. The quality has definitely gone down since while the prices have rised. The Thai tea used to have much more flavor than sugar and now even the least sweet tastes like milk with sugar. I decided to give it a second and third chance and by then made me feel nauseous. You guys should really look into making your drinks half sweet. read more

I ordered in there and I stood there for 10mins waiting for my coffee til I finally asked how much longer and the guy looks and goes "oh" and turns out my drink has been sitting in the back for a while. I've been going here for a while now. Their tea and coffee is great tasting and the boba is always fresh. I wouldn't bother to ask for extra boba because you'll get charged for it however end up receiving the same amount for regular boba. The employees are ok but some of them have an attitude sometimes and don't seem to like their job. Other than that it's a good place to try out! read more

That's cool there's a 7 Leaves in this area. It's in a big mall area with other restaurants and shop. I like the drive thru but can be confusing at first since it's on the side with five guys burger. There's definitely a lot of younger looking kids that work here so just expect that. Usually I've gotten quick service and able to get the drink exactly how i want. Prices are average for a typical boba spot. All same flavors as other 7 Leaves. read more

I came by on Friday morning around 7:45 am on my way to work. This location has a convenient drive-thru and is one of very few places that serves boba before 11:00am. However, I was disappointed to hear that their boba would not be ready for another 40 minutes... that's about an hour and a half after their posted opening time. Since I was already there, I ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea anyway. I flipped my drink upside down to mix it prior to drinking and found that the lid was not properly sealed. I ended up spilling my drink all over my car. When I finally got the straw in, all I could taste was syrup and no tea flavor at all. I will not be returning. read more

This is so conflicting for me, though I do really enjoy their iced coffee, especially their Vietnamese one, I can't justify 80 to 85 percent of it being ice, I mean you get about 4 or 5 ounces of coffee for a large (huge cup) because the rest is ice (should have taken a picture, but here we are) It's such a waste the super large cup and all the ice just for a few sips. The bobba from 7leaves is probably the best at any place nearby. Today i called at 715pm to ask what time they close because the one near me is closed(alhambra), the girl said 8pm. I drive 25min to get here and try to make line at 740 to have an employee closing drive thru. I drove all the way here to not be able to order thru drive thru, or inside. Would've been nice to be told they have a closing time for drive thru line before driving all the way to downey. read more

I am so glad that there is now a proper boba place in Downey. FINALLY! They even have a drive thru but the drive thru takes a really long time. Trust me, it's worth it. I got the herbal tea, large size. I did not taste the pandan leaves or chrysanthemum. It tasted like grass jelly to me. It was good but 2/3 of the cup was filled with ice. Not worth $5.65. I also had a hard time getting to the last bit of boba at the bottom because of all the ice. read more

I went to get a milk tea which i usually get. I went through the drive thru and a lady took my order, i asked for a small asaam milk tea and she said "okay so you want a ice coffee" and i said the no, the asaam milk tea but she interrupted me and said "oh we only have regular and large not small" and i said "okay i'll get the regular but the asaam milk tea" it was clear that she wasn't listening and someone in the background was talking to her so she was just rushing me, there was no line and was not rush hour so it's not like they had other orders to take care of. i get to the window and see it's pure teenagers working and there's about 3 teenagers just messing around, one being the one that took my order. i get my order and it is the iced coffee that i clearly did not ask for, i repeated myself over and over that i wanted the milk tea and not the iced coffee. these teenagers were irresponsible and gave bad service. read more

Where do I start, so after going shopping for a few hours I decided to drive in to this caffe. I had seen it before but never had the time to give it a try. I was accompanied by my in-laws who were visiting from MEX. & when it came to ordering we didn't know what to order (it was our first time). We didn't know how to pronounce one of the coffees on the menu so the RUDE & RACIST employee laughed and said to my in law "ughhhh I can't understand you and started laughing" so I took over and continued the order myself. Once we got to the window to pay the employee saw me & asked me to repeat my order and started laughing once again. Turned around and mumbled something to her coworker, took my card charged me and continued to laugh repeating to me the correct way to say the name of the coffee we ordered. Honesty I just wished I would've gotten her name and information to call upper management of the restaurant but at the moment we were so confused with her way of acting. Probably the best 7 Leaves location I've been to so far (the other two being Artesia and Cypress) and my new go-to study spot! Location-wise is amazing, no struggles with tight or finding parking and with it being in the Downey Promenade, gives people a lot of options to go with their favorite drink. It's also the biggest in terms of inside space compared to the other two mentioned branches and lots of outlets along the back wall and the counter by the cashier. Very excited this place finally opened by my job. I went early in the morning so I had the place to myself. The staff was very courteous and welcomed me as soon as I walked in. I wasn't sure what to order so the cashier told me if I had any questions she could help me or give me recommendations. I opted for the jasmine milk tea. It was done right away and it tasted very good. The prices are pretty good and they sell pastries like macaroons and a strawberry custard pastry. I actually tried the strawberry pastry and it was delicious. Not too sweet and very fluffy. I was given a rewards card so I'll be looking forward to come more often. read more

I went today in because I got a taro drink last night and it was amazing !! However I'm disappointed with today's taro drink . I ordered the taro drink and it literally had no taro in it . It was milk white and when I asked the girl why it wasn't purple she said it had to do with the boba . I gave her the benefit of the doubt and guesssss what ?!! It had no taro in it :( . Finally it opens! I've been a huge fan of 7 Leaves coffee for a couple years now. My go-to is definitely the Vietnamese coffee. Other honorable mentions are House coffee, matcha soy milk.
