This Lee's location finally had the cookie butter coffee in stock -- so of course I had to try it! Overall, I enjoyed it, but I'd say it's more of a pleasant twist than a game changer. It's the same Vietnamese coffee we all know and love, topped with a cookie butter cold foam and a light dusting of lotus cookie crumbs. My only wish? More crumbs! The coffee itself doesn't seem to have any added flavoring beyond the classic Vietnamese brew, so that first sip tastes nearly identical to the original. To really get the cookie butter experience, you'll want to stir that foam in well, once you do, it does add a nice flavor boost. Still, nothing that'll blow your mind. That said, I'd absolutely order it again, because let's be honest, Vietnamese coffee is a win no matter what. As for the location, it's decent. The tables could use some attention, and there was a bit of an unpleasant smell, though to be fair, there's a noticeable homeless population in the area outside, which may have been a factor. On the bright side, the staff was friendly and efficient. I ordered a regular size cookie crumble coffee for $6.99 and had it in hand within five minutes. I walked in to place a last minute order of 5 sandwiches & 20 eggrolls for a little over a dozen people. When I first entered, it was quiet & there was only 1 other person inside. They have a grab & go area in the front - refrigerators were stocked with drinks & their shelves were full of snacks. The gal at the counter was great - greeted me with a smile, answered questions, made suggestions. I placed my order & asked how long it would take. To my surprise, she said it would take about 15 minutes. During my wait, I saw at least a dozen people with small orders come & go. They got busy! I even saw a lady walk out with what had to be a previously-ordered sandwich tray. I hoped mine would look that nice. Even though it took over 30 minutes, I still waited patiently... I'm always kind to folks preparing my food! When the sandwiches came out in their usual wrapping & eggrolls in paper bags, I was a little disappointed, but in too much of a rush now to say anything. When I opened up the sandwiches, I noticed they weren't cut all the way through (I hate that!), so I had to practically tear them to separate them & place them on a platter. Long story short - I would go back, but I'd be sure to ask for the sandwiches on a tray if ordering for a group again. I'd also ask for the eggrolls to be in a box, like I've seen at other locations. I've always came here and love their sandwiches! My family usually gets #11 with extra cilantro & jalapeños. Today I ordered 10 sandwiches the same way I normally do and I was charged extra for an extra slice of jalapeño and small piece of cilantro. I asked if prices went up recently and the girl Nathaly was extremely rude and said "it's always been extra" which is strange because even if I tried ordering on the app it does NOT charge you extra for cilantro and jalapeños. My boyfriend phoned an order for lunch and asked if we could add pate on a meatball sandwich, they told us yes. He picks up the sandwiches and brings them home. I'm opening my food up and I notice it's missing the one thing I wanted, the pate. He calls them to tell them they forgot to add it. The person on the phone is communicating with their associate and told them to add the pate, their response was "well we didn't charge them for it." They offered to bring back the sandwich and add it for free. Now, that doesn't make sense for me to go back and get something if I wasn't looking for a handout to begin with. We told them it's okay, just remember next time and they told us "next time double check ok?". Out of the list of locations that honor the promotion, I picked this location since it was the closest to me even though I have two other locations closer to me that were not on the list. When I came in and showed them the code to redeem, they said they're not one of the locations that can redeem it. Then why does the app say you do? I clicked on your store location, and it even told me to make sure that I was at the right store before I click to redeem it and so I did. They even contacted corporate and they told them no as well. It made no sense, they turned me away and I was pissed. I've spent a lot of money at their stores not just for coffee but catering services as well. I was here ordering a coffee when I witnessed one of the ladies that work there, I checked for her name, it was Elizabeth (short stocky lady with brown hair) she DROPPED chicken nuggets ON THE FLOOR by the frying area and picked them up and serve them to a customer all within the span of like 2 minutes. Came here for lunch as it's close to my work. Friendly and fast service. I usually get the BBQ pork roll #6, but my main complaint is the bread is too hard. It cuts your gums if you're not too careful. Make sure to get it without jalapeños if you don't like it spicy. This time I tried the croissant and it was pretty good. Comes with onions on the side, pickle, and peppercini. The croissant is nice and crispy and really soft. Definitely prefer these sandwiches over subway. read more
