The receptionist responded kindly to our questions regarding the secret menu. I eventually got the Tea Rex, which is traditionally is a mix between the Japanese Matcha Tea and the Mung Bean Tea offerings here but got instead of Japanese Matcha Tea, got it with Japanese Matcha Soy tea at Less Sweet and Light Ice. Amazing drink! It was not too sweet but completely satisfied my cravings for a sugary drink. Honestly, 7leaves never disappoints. I ordered the holiday house special -- a seasonal drink that combines its iced coffee with peppermint creamer, chocolate sea cream, and peppermint candy bits. I normally get the regular house special, and this was a perfect variation for the holidays! The Food: I didn't buy anything this time, but in the past they've sold macarons and a small selection of pastries. But you won't find full on meals here. The Service: The team here is always fast, polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. Excellent training by management. The Location: It's located in the same small strip mall as a Starbucks, Verizon, and Chipotle. Parking can get filled up quickly, especially during peak times when nearby Cal State Fullerton is in full swing. Inside, the store itself is pretty narrow. There are a variety of tables and chairs, but not a ton, so avoid using this as a hangout spot with a large group. It's most ideal for parties of 4 or fewer people. The Bathroom: They are clean and well stocked, but unfortunately require a code to use. This keeps the riffraff and homeless out, but quite annoying as a customer. And it's surprising to see, since this store is in a decent location near campus. The Conclusion: If you're looking for Taiwanese boba, you might be disappointed. But if you want a Vietnamese twist on this Asian drink, you'll love 7 Leaves as much as I do. read more

The layering is so beautiful and it's a very refreshing cool drink. It's more of a summery drink with the tangy and citrusy notes but great if you're looking for a non-caffeinated beverage. I love coming to 7 Leaves Coffee it's my go-to spot when I need to stay awake for the next three days straight. The coffee hits harder than most energy drinks, and it actually tastes amazing. I've been coming here for about 10 years, ever since they opened their Cypress location, and it's still just as good. The macarons are a nice bonus too sweet enough to balance out the caffeine overload. The place is always spotless, and the staff is super friendly even though they probably know they're fueling my questionable life choices. But today I wanted to try their honey latte. I like how it was the perfect sweetness for me. You definitely get the coffee flavor. Service was great and quick. I ended up not liking a coffee I got and the service was excellent, they let me switch it out for a house coffee for free!

The cashier today was really rude. I told him I was picking up a mobile order and would like to order one additional drink. I guess the milk tea I was asking for was not an option and that's fine but how he responded was really rude by saying "I literally have no idea what you're talking about". I say ok let me just pick up my order and figure out the other order. I say I'm here for a house coffee order and he thinks I'm ordering it there and with a rude look says "ok what size??" I say no I'm PICKING UP the order and he goes ok. The customer service from this employee needs to be looked at and it's super early in the morning to be rude and causing other people anxiety from your misunderstanding. I get I said a drink that wasn't available but I said let me step to the side and figure that order out so there was no reason to be rude. I am not one to ever leave a negative review, but this experience was truly shocking. On Monday (3/23) morning at around 11:30am a customer came in with their 2 children; obviously confused and new to this establishment. English was not their first language and they struggled with the menu. The employee taking the order was not helpful and down right rude. Any question the customer had was an inconvenience to this employee. After said customer left, the employee continued to talk loudly and proudly about how they did not feel bad about their rude responses. Going as far as to accuse the customer of being pregnant for the question they asked about the menu. This rant on how the customer was such an inconvenience continued for around 5 minutes, all while customers sitting down could very clearly hear. Love the quality of the drinks, and the boba is nice and sweet and a good consistency. The parking lot can get crowded, so beware of that. I normally go to the locations in San Jose, but since I was in the area, I had to try one here. This place had a very comfy vibe. There was a couch in the back that I was resting while I had my drink. The location itself is near a university, so there were students coming by the place while I was here. As for my drink, I normally go for a Assam Milk tea. This time around was my first time getting the Sea Cream Jasmine tea.
