One of the fave places to get Thai Tea from honestly! The Oolong Milk Tea sadly missed the mark today though, it needed a bit more flavor! Anyway, I really like this space and how much seating they have. It's always been quiet and pretty empty every time I visited, so I think people mostly grab their drinks and go but I do think it's a nice place to sit and hang out for a while. i accidentally placed my order at the wrong 7 leaves location, but when we came here they were so kind and still made our drinks after just asking for the order number. i don't remember the employee's name, but we came around 3 p.m. on a tuesday, and he was super helpful and understanding. the drinks were made perfectly too. not overly sweet, just really well balanced and flavorful. great customer service and great drinks and not pricey what so ever. i'll definitely be coming back to this location! the place is pretty small but i could see myself going here to study and it's pretty empty. read more

Just going by the name "7 Leaves Cafe" I naturally assumed that this was primarily a tea spot. But when I started checking out their Yelp photo gallery I realized they're so much more! The drinks sounded refreshing and what really drew me in was that they also offer macarons. So I headed over to continue my quest to find the best local macarons. Parking today was a breeze, but since they're just down the street from the college, I can imagine this is a popular spot for students to grab a drink & a snack while they hang out to study. In fact, the seating inside seems to be arranged to accommodate some serious study sessions. I'd asked some of my Yelp friends for recommendations of their favorite drinks, but I also asked the worker at the counter what the most popular options were. She suggested the sea cream black coffee, which was also what my fellow Yelpers had mentioned, so I went with that and 3 macarons: pistachio, earl grey, and rose water. My order was a great combo for my afternoon pick me up! The coffee was a no frills situation with pre-sweetened black coffee topped with just the right amount of whipped cream ~ it was the perfect balance of sweet and slightly creamy. The macarons were a little on the small side, but they had a nice little crunch on the outside with a flaky, tender texture inside. Flavor-wise, the pistachio was very mild; the earl grey was really good, but the rose water WOW! That is the one I will be coming back for more soon!!! The rose notes really came through beautifully on this one without being over the top. This would be a lovely treat to serve at a bridal or baby shower!! Always a great place to get boba. I can always expect strong flavors of tea as I've never had a watered down tea with 7 leaves. The only reason I give this place a 4-star rating today (it's usually a 5-star experience) is that I drank a clump of tea leaves through the straw and almost choked. I eventually got the Tea Rex, which is traditionally is a mix between the Japanese Matcha Tea and the Mung Bean Tea offerings here but got instead of Japanese Matcha Tea, got it with Japanese Matcha Soy tea at Less Sweet and Light Ice. You can rarely go wrong 7 leaves, especially this location. We always make it a point to stop at this location specifically when we pass this area no matter how rough parking can be sometimes. The workers are kind, not a lot of seating inside although they do have a tight long row to sit if needed, and bathroom available. We love the taro milk tea, half Jasmine/half coffee here! 10/10 recommend! read more

Every time I go, the ambiance is chill and relaxed, and the whole experience is just easy and enjoyable. They're also really quick. The service is always awesome and efficient, and the prices are very reasonable for how good everything is. There honestly isn't much else to say other than I just love this place. It's not super close to our area, so whenever we're heading westbound, we almost always try to stop at a 7 Leaves somewhere along the way. Honestly, if you get nothing else here, this is a solid one to try. The Strawberry Sunset is made up of half strawberry bits & hibiscus flower and half passion fruit with salted plum. The layering is so beautiful and it's a very refreshing cool drink. It's more of a summery drink with the tangy and citrusy notes but great if you're looking for a non-caffeinated beverage. I've been to several locations, but review will just focus on my recent visit to the Fullerton location. The Drinks: It offers a good selection of different drinks without being overwhelming, ranging from coffees and teas to juice and off-menu concoctions. I ordered the holiday house special -- a seasonal drink that combines its iced coffee with peppermint creamer, chocolate sea cream, and peppermint candy bits. I normally get the regular house special, and this was a perfect variation for the holidays! The Food: I didn't buy anything this time, but in the past they've sold macarons and a small selection of pastries. But you won't find full on meals here. The Service: The team here is always fast, polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. Excellent training by management. The Location: It's located in the same small strip mall as a Starbucks, Verizon, and Chipotle. Parking can get filled up quickly, especially during peak times when nearby Cal State Fullerton is in full swing. Inside, the store itself is pretty narrow. There are a variety of tables and chairs, but not a ton, so avoid using this as a hangout spot with a large group. It's most ideal for parties of 4 or fewer people. The Bathroom: They are clean and well stocked, but unfortunately require a code to use. This keeps the riffraff and homeless out, but quite annoying as a customer. And it's surprising to see, since this store is in a decent location near campus. The Conclusion: If you're looking for Taiwanese boba, you might be disappointed. But if you want a Vietnamese twist on this Asian drink, you'll love 7 Leaves as much as I do. read more

Really nice cafe - the vibes are chill and the staff are friendly. Not the cheapest around but not the most expensive either. What I like about 7 leaves is that they have many locations and this one is closest to my house. In that sense they are my go to. Their drinks are good too, I usually pick up the Assam Tea (my favorite). That said, flavor profile wise, there are better places that I prefer, 7 leaves is just so convenient and good enough. Starbucks nearby was closed so we saw several SB strays walk into 7 Leaves. Cafe is clean and nicely decorated. You can order ahead from your app and drinks are ready pretty quickly. Nothing wrong with the location or drinks. There was a rude cashier, I asked for a green tai tea but she went to check if they still had some. When she came back she asked me how many I wanted and I said two. She then snapped and said that she could only make me one. I have no issue if they are out completely, I can always pick something else but I did not appreciate the snapping and attitude. I even smiled because I was confused on why she gave me attitude when she had asked me how many I wanted. It just doesn't make sense. The staff member that handed me the drink was kind though. I love coming to 7 Leaves Coffee it's my go-to spot when I need to stay awake for the next three days straight. The coffee hits harder than most energy drinks, and it actually tastes amazing. I've been coming here for about 10 years, ever since they opened their Cypress location, and it's still just as good. The macarons are a nice bonus too sweet enough to balance out the caffeine overload. I used to frequent seven leaves quite often when I was in college. This place still hits the spot when you want a quick fix with wanting coffee. I usually opt out for their house coffee. But today I wanted to try their honey latte. I like how it was the perfect sweetness for me. You definitely get the coffee flavor. Service was great and quick. The boba last time when we went was partially chewy and then some parts were hard. Also, their system took forever to process the order? Was waiting for a good 10 minutes to pay. Love the quality of the drinks, and the boba is nice and sweet and a good consistency. The parking lot can get crowded, so beware of that. Apparently someone called out sick and even though I placed my order 7:27 and walked into the store at 7:40, the barista decided to take a phone call, standing still for 5 mins until she got her point across to whomever was on the phone, instead of maybe multitasking? After she got off the phone she decided to ask me my name only to tell me that since someone had called out sick, she hadn't got to the drink?? Really? After 20 mins?? The cashier today was really rude. I told him I was picking up a mobile order and would like to order one additional drink. I guess the milk tea I was asking for was not an option and that's fine but how he responded was really rude by saying "I literally have no idea what you're talking about". I say ok let me just pick up my order and figure out the other order. I say I'm here for a house coffee order and he thinks I'm ordering it there and with a rude look says "ok what size??" I say no I'm PICKING UP the order and he goes ok. The customer service from this employee needs to be looked at and it's super early in the morning to be rude and causing other people anxiety from your misunderstanding. I get I said a drink that wasn't available but I said let me step to the side and figure that order out so there was no reason to be rude. Try the Assam milk tea with boba! Their boba is the perfect consistency and the drink was the perfect balance of tea strength and creaminess. I was so impressed that I had to return the next day to get the same drink! I like that the tea flavor is strong. It's not as heavy or creamy as some other stores.
