Regular Iced Green Thai Tea, has a faint floral note to the taste compared to a regular Thai Tea - which I dig :)
    Jeanette C.

Been a huge fan of 7 Leaves since my university days. Had to write a review to show some love to the Gardena location! Crew members are always courteous and patient, especially when newer customers have questions about the menu. As a bystander in line and a former food service worker myself, that quality of patience is deeply appreciated from afar. Back of the kitchen seems to have a good amount of support, which explains why the service has been quick for nearly all my visits. You can't go wrong with any of their macarons. But I find myself coming back for the variety of drinks. Some of my personal favorites: - Jasmine Milk Tea - Thai Green Tea - Strawberry Hibiscus - Brazilian Lemonade (only pops up in the summer, if I remember correctly) I've never spent a lot of time in the shop, but the inside looks very cozy and spacious. I typically see an abundance of seating to the right of the counter - as well as a mix of people socializing or working.

One of my favorite things here beside the drinks is the little free library they have inside. However, it is gone now!

First timer! I had the green Thai tea with oat milk and boba. Really digging the unique flavor. I would probably upsize the next time I ordered it. Plenty of parking available. Restrooms available. Super spacious inside and lots of people were on their laptops. Pretty quiet and well lit ambiance. Service was quick and friendly.

Thai Tea with Oat Milk and boba

7 Leaves, Torrance!? More like Gardena but glad to know I don't have to drive all the way near Cerritos Mall when I'm craving it! It's in a lot with other businesses and parking can be a little weird and crowded depending on the time you go. I went during the weekday -- afternoon and there were hardly any parks. Oh and don't bother trying to phone your order in for pickup they "no longer do that" -- perhaps folks were calling and placing an order just to not pickup their items!? If you absolutely want your order ready at arrival I was told to do it thru their app by one of the staff over the phone. Ordered the Thai tea with Oat Milk and boba. They didn't seal the plastic on the drink tight and when I went to put the straw in it made a bit of a mess. Other than that the drink was on point. Like that they have room enough if you needed to study you can. I saw some people with their laptops doing work -- so that was cool. I give this location 4.0 rating Service was quick. Staff were friendly. I took my drink to go and I do recommend... if you want your drink ready when you arrive, order ahead on the app.

My favorite local cafe for a strong black coffee called the double drip. You can order using the app and jump the line. App also gives you reward points. A great place to get work done too. Two large communal tables with long outlet strips underneath. Place gets packed so you'll be elbow to elbow at its peak.

Always a good spot for bubble tea. It's consistent and pretty much most of the items here are good. I order from here often for catering for work as well. Service is quick and there's plenty of tables inside if you want to study/work as well! My go to here is either a Mung Bean Tea or the Green Thai tea!

    4 drinks special

My niece wanted boba so we came here because she was familiar with 7 leaves Cafe in San Jose. We opted for the 4 drinks deal and all got different drinks. I don't remember what the others got, one was made vegan, and I got the Sea cream tea jasmine. Cashier was super nice and very accommodating, as we got one drink vegan. Recommendations were made, we all wanted less sweet, some were not able to be made less sweet. They had two long tables where it looked like people were doing homework. There was quite a bit of people on a Tuesday evening. The lobby and ordering area was quite small. We were a party of 6 and took up the whole front area. More people kept coming in. Good for 7 leaves, but it got crowded real fast. I liked my drink, but confused at first because I kept calling it Sweet cream, and wondering why the cream was salty. When I looked up the name of my drink it made sense. I would definitely come back and try another drink, maybe stay a little bit longer if there is space at the tables.

Not gonna lie, I'm a little skeptical when I try new boba places because I've been disappointed many a time with flavorless milk, but that was not the case here! I loved the assam milk tea! I got it easy sweet and it was perfect. The boba was also really good, chewy and perfectly flavored. I got a pistachio macaron too, which was yummy, but damn, 1 regular milk tea with boba and 1 macaron was $10. Loved the lounge area; seemed like a lot of people come to study and work, so I'd like to come back and do that too!

One of our favorite boba tea shop. Most of the time we order online and just pick up. parking is always a hassle in this plaza. Always some reason it's very crowded but after our online order, never took more than 10 minutes friendly Service.

I came to 7Leaves after work to claim a reward! I believe for this whole week on the 7 Leaves app, you can claim a free Brazilian lemonade! I got a Brazilian lemonade with Aloe Vera and Salt Cream! The drink was super creamy and light! The service is nice and ambiance is average! There's some music playing in the background! There's some tables and chairs for people to sit and study! TIP: There's ample parking and they're in a plaza! I also recommend checking out Kansha Creamery in the same plaza! There's a gender neutral restroom but you do have to ask the workers for a code!

    House coffee iced
    Tara F.

Could smell the coffee from outside! So i had to try ordered an iced house coffee, she said house coffee and vietnamese coffee were top sellers and she was right! Not too sweet not too strong its a great balance. I highly recommend Also the inside is nice and has a nice area to sit and do work/homework and a little section barstool to sit and wait for your order which didnt take long at all

spanish Latte Hot & Mung Bean Milk Tea
    Brenda L.

The good: I got the Spanish latte (hot) and mung bean milk tea (iced). I liked how there was a library area inside the sitting area that had all sorts of books in different genres for different ages. For kids, there were picture books and some toys. I haven't seen the library in other 7 Leaves Cafe locations. The staff members were upbeat and friendly. The coffee was appropriately sweetened. I like that they occasionally have seasonal and new menu items. They have different sized drinks and you can adjust the ice in them. The bad: They don't have a drive-thru like some of 7 Leaves Cafe's other locations. The mung bean milk tea was a bit too sweet for me but overall I like the drink and it's a great option if you need caffeine free drinks. I love when places offer "teas" that kids can drink that don't have caffeine. They don't have any outdoor seating options. The interesting: They're located in a small plaza that has a lot of Japanese businesses. The exterior of the store has wooden slats that give it a Japanese architectural aesthetic.

this ain't no thai tea -_-
    Joe L.

I don't know what happened, but today the thai tea was chalky, almost like a protein shake powder inside the drink. (never had my thai tea served that way) AND WORST OF ALL THERE WAS A HAIR IN MY DRINK. not in the straw, not my own. a curly hair lol????? was a disappointment bc i usually hit this location.

They have a lot of very nice pricey packaged goodies(special Japanese chocolate and peach jellies and fancy mochis) in the front area. I ended up near the window displays towards the back. I was eyeing up the cream buns. (red bean, custard, matcha, chocolate) I have never seen these before, but I decided to not get these since they do not contain mochi. Right beside them are the Mochi creams. They had many different flavors, it definitely took me some time to decide. (some are: red bean, mango, green tea, peach yoghurt, apple pie, blueberry yoghurt, strawberry shortcake, choco Banana, white chocolate, chocolate, Black sesame, raspberry) These have the wonderful mochi on the outside with the flavored filling inside with soft sweet white cream in the middle). I will say the mochi on the outside is super delicious, it was chewy and incredibly soft. I have had my fair share of mochi and it's very good here. There were the flavors we got: 1. Black Sesame: 3/5 2. Strawberry Shortcake 4/5 3. Green tea 4/5 4. Red bean 4/5 5. Mango- 5/5 Each piece is not cheap, but I think they are pretty good. So first things first, be aware that this Paris Baguette is actually inside Hannam Chain Supermarket at Village Del Amo on the southwest corner of Torrance and Hawthorne. I didn't know it at the time, so I circumnavigated the plaza, looking for Paris Baguette signage like I usually do for the other standalone locations. After stopping my car somewhere in the plaza, I had to double-check the location to be inside the Hannam Chain Supermarket, which I had just literally passed by minutes ago. D'oh! lol I hadn't even heard of Hannam Chain Supermarket, so I took some time to explore the store even though Paris Baguette is literally closest to the entrance. The overall selection of baked goods kind of disappointed me because it felt like there were fewer choices of pastries here compared to the other locations I've been to before. However, oddly enough, they had more selections available! I think it's because they have time stamps listed on each pastry so that the pastries are inside the display case for no more than 4 hours. I thought the pastries would have remained good at least until the end of the day, so to hear of their 4 hour shelf life was a bit surprising to me. For the record, I've been to several other Paris Baguettes before, but this was the first time I noticed these time stamps. Even though the variety of pastries was not as much compared to the other standalone locations, I still had a difficult time deciding which pastry to get! However, I noticed a new flavor of a supreme croissant I hadn't seen before: pink velvet. I've heard of red velvet, but not pink, and presuming that this is a seasonal offering for Valentine's Day, I figured it would be the perfect opportunity to try one before that special day. They had other supreme croissant flavors like chocolate and salted caramel pretzel, but I'm sure those flavors will be offered for much longer than the pink velvet. I do remember trying a strawberry supreme croissant from the Cerritos location, so perhaps after Valentine's Day, that would take the place of the pink velvet. After grabbing one of two Pink Velvet Supreme Croissants left in the display case, I made my way around and to the register. Phone in hand, I had the Paris Baguette app pulled up to redeem my reward. Actually, a good part of me had thought that this location inside Hannam Chain wouldn't honor my reward because for Tous Les Jours, the locations inside Hmart wouldn't be eligible for earning points or redeeming rewards. Luckily, Paris Baguette is not Tous Les Jours, and I was able to redeem my reward with no trouble. The cashier who rang me up was pretty friendly as well. She placed my Pink Velvet Supreme Croissant in a small paper bag and wished me a good day. While there are a handful of tables inside the food hall portion of Hannam Chain, most were occupied by customers of other eateries, so I simply went outside to enjoy my free sweet treat. The pink velvet ruby chocolate that covered the top portion of the round croissant didn't have nearly as much flavor, though the Valentine's sprinkles on top did make for a nice touch at least. Also, the custard cream inside didn't taste like anything at all! It wasn't bad, but it makes me wonder how much more flavorful the salted caramel pretzel would have been. I'll be sure to get that on my next visit to a Paris Baguette! I got the croissant about 2.5 hours after they were prepared, so maybe they would have tasted better had I gone 2 hours earlier? Lastly, I'm kind of shocked that this is pretty much the only Paris Baguette location in the South Bay. With how expansive a city like Torrance is, you would think they'd have at least a second location elsewhere like in Hmart. Otherwise, the next closest location would be in Long Beach, which literally just opened at The Pike Outlets. Overall, it's not a bad Paris Baguette to go to, but if you live in the South Bay, you'd be better off downloading the 85C Bakery app over the Paris Baguette app as there are much more 85C locations in the area. Also, this Paris Baguette may not necessarily carry your favorite pastries here, so heed caution if you plan to go out of your way to visit this patisserie.

Update: As I was sitting outside enjoying my sandwich, I realized that I had previously reviewed the Little French Bakery on the wrong scale. That's why I'm now giving it 5 stars. Bottom Line: Great.
