My wife and I came back seven months later to get lunch. This time tried "Texas" fajita's meaning shrimp,chicken, and steak. The chips and salsa to start were good not too hard and the salsas a good flavor. On the big tv it was my first rodeo meaning FS2 was showing American Rodeo championship from Arlington texas. I came here once before with my son and was so in love with the salsa (particularly the roasted one that comes out warm) that I didn't even eat the tacos that I ordered. We came back today and I tried a chimichanga supreme. I ordered what was listed as shredded beef, but as you can see, it's more of a ground beef. I don't care at all because it's delicious! It came with rice, but I gave that to my son because I don't eat the rice and he loves it. He ordered the chimichanga de Carnita and said that the meat was pretty dry and bland by itself, so not as happy as he usually is. The salsa was just as good today as it was before and the food comes out quickly. The service is good, but since you don't get a physical menu and have to scan the barcode and scroll through your phone to look at the menu, they keep coming back too quickly to see if you're ready to order without giving you much of a chance to look to see what's available. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated, I personally think the music is a little too loud to hold a conversation because everyone around you is trying to compensate and talk louder. read more

Fun times. We lived in the area for almost a decade and tend to frequent the closest Mexican establishments to us. We decided to try something new this weekend checkout 7 Tequilas. The staff was super friendly and Sat us near the bar area with TVs. They serve warm and cold salsa with chips right away. We ordered fajitas to share and kids meal. The fajitas were great. I'm not always a fan of shrimp at Mexican spots, but these were great. The skinny margarita was really good, but I also noticed a lot of foreign and domestic beers on tap. The inside is really cute and they have a nice patio area outside. If you are in the area, this is worth a stop! read more

This had been our go-to local Mexican place for years. It has progressively gone downhill. The service has gotten very slow, there's always an issue with our order and the drinks are not as great as they used to be. The food is still okay but the portion sizes keep decreasing. I think we were literally served a tablespoon of refried beans and a tablespoon of rice with our chicken fajitas. Also, they've really cut back on the amount of protein in the fajitas. It's a sparse amount of chicken with lots of veggie fillers (primarily cheap mushrooms and zucchini). Will move on to other options in the area. read more

Ordered two steak burritos with rice and beans, and queso w/ chorizo through Uber delivery. It took the driver 5 mins from pick up to deliver. Her service was impecable. However, my burritos were ice cold inside and the cheese was a block. Tried to get a refund but was left on hold. Uber eats did their job. We came here for a team dinner. Location on map is semi-confusing but you'll find it at the far end of the shopping center. Great atmosphere here and the two salsas they serve remind me of Fronteras, which were delicious. The drink, 7 tequila as Margarita, was ok. I had hoped it would be better and stronger (since it supposedly had 7 tequila types in it). My meal, chicken fajitas, was also ok. There was nothing that stuck out to me on it. The best part was really the atmosphere and chips/salsa. Maybe I just ordered the wrong drink and meal this go around, but that portion didn't stand out. Possibly worth trying again. A gentrified neighborhood Mexican option that I've tried to make into a go-to numerous times, but their general take of food (usually salty) and drinks offered are hard okays. Drinks are stiff but lack depth of flavors you'd expect with $15+ per. Friendly staffs make up for that gap tho. read more

I've been looking forward to trying this restaurant out, ever since I walked by it going to Kroger on Cinco de Mayo. They had live music and the whole joint seemed so inviting and fun. I went with my family, and we had a server who was very nice, albeit inexperienced. My husband asked him what he would recommend, and he said he always gets the steak Al carbon whenever he works (turns out that day was his second day on the job - we found out after the meal), so that's what my husband ordered. I got gorditas for myself, and I ordered a quesadilla for my children. My mom ordered the pollo ranchero. We also got queso and guac as a starter. Everything came out quickly but somehow my children's quesadilla became an enchilada, probably due to an input error. They were busy, so I didn't want to make a big deal out of it. Let's be honest, my picky toddlers wouldn't eat it if it was a quesadilla anyway. However, aside from the dips, all of our dishes were underwhelming and unappetizing. The taste was bland and the meats were dry. I resorted to pouring the queso on my gorditas to be able to eat any of it. We had plenty of leftovers because our food was basically untouched past the first bite. We didn't want to waste the food so we took it home, but if it was bad coming out of the kitchen, it was worse the next day. The prices definitely did not reflect the quality either as it came out to about $20+ per person. I cannot in good conscience advise anyone to come here for dinner, as lit as their music is. I called earlier in the day for a reservation. When our party arrived, they told us they were having issues arranging tables to fit our party and we would need to wait. We were seated within 10-15 minutes next to the tortilla making machine, which made it very hot and uncomfortable. We ordered drinks and appetizers. They brought one of us the wrong beer at least three times and when asked for straws, they said they were out, but they were on the way to be delivered. When we asked for a spoon for the queso, it was never brought. The food we ordered was okay, nothing great, and the drinks were okay, besides getting one of them consistently wrong, and them being out of a drink two of us tried to order. We were here tonight when a couple, obviously too Full of drink, decided to be loud and belligerent. I will tell you that the service team and manager handled the scenario wonderfully despite the inebriated customer's insistence that his "wife is Mexican". It was sad. So this one was tricky... The waitress was amazing. I felt bad I was in a bad mood and being extra but she was great even then. The low stars really is on the price/food part. I'm sure they know cause the check in is 10% off food. Now in their defense my meal was steak and shrimp but that salad guacamole and such in the picture is from my coworker who had it come with her quesadilla and did not want. She did not like chicken quesadilla as she felt it was wet...it had a lot of grease she felt. I really like the Atmosphere here. It's a huge space. The decor was a lot nicer and cleaner looking than your traditional Mexican restaurants. The design and decor definitely elevated the look so you don't feel like you're at a Frontera. Service was great! All the staff was very attentive even the manager at one point came by to check on us. I had the Nacho plate with ground beef the portion was not as large as I thought it would be, so we were able to finish the whole nacho plates. Here they used queso for the cheese, so you had to eat it quicker so it wouldn't get too soggy.. I ordered Gordita's With carnitas and that was very different, because normally, when I go to a Mexican restaurant, I would order your traditional dishes like fajitas, nachos, ceviche. The Gordita came with a green sauce that was super tasty. It also came with a very small side of beans which was equally as good. The pork was fried and it tasted perfectly. They also give you complementary salsa and chips and their salsa here is also better than most other restaurants. One is your traditional red salsa, but they add a little bit more cilantro, which made it taste better. The sauce they send out is more of a smoked salsa is served warm. It was different, but. For a Mexican Restaurant, 7 Tequilas I think hits all the spots and checks all the marks for me. When I came here we met with some friends and ate outside at the patio. I would say it was pretty loud though, but I guess that's sort of the MO for Mexican Restaurants. I shared a dish with the wife, but it wasn't something amazing. I thought it was just alright. I had a burrito, and your thoughts on burritos in the US, it's sort of along the lines. There wasn't anything super exciting about it, but it was good. Seen this place today on ATL Eats! Everyone on the episode spoke of the cucumber margarita & the 7 Tequila Salmon. I was hungry so decided to make the drive from the city to Alpharetta. It was worth it! Beautiful decor. Excellent customer service. The drink was delish. We ordered the queso and the guac. Guacamole was huge and fresh. Two different salsa options. One spicy. Enjoyed every bite. The salmon dish was good and i liked that it came with a side green salad. I do believe it could have some more flavor or an extra kick to the risotto, but overall I was appeased. Also with the Yelp Check In you get an extra 10% discount and if you use your Yelp card connected you earn an extra 7% back. Overall, Win Win. Oh! And they had live Music ! Which I lalalalaloooove!! I suuuper wish they had a location in the actual city of ATLANTA. So owners, please consider a location closer to the city. I know how hard it is to open a business, so I really hate leaving a bad review, but if you clearly don't care at all about your guests, then I will tell the world how obvious it is: The most annoying restaurant I have ever been to. And I tried to eat here twice, so shame on me for being dumb. Pros: The decor is nice and the food is reasonably good Cons: Who the f trains a heater directly on their outdoor guests in the middle of Summer when it's 85 degrees outside? Does no one listen to their music system to know it's f'ed up and spewing more static than music? Is it ok to have your servers act like they are doing you a favor to take your order? Is absolutely nothing done to control the amount of noise in this place? I couldn't hear my wife speaking to save my life and I usually like a lively atmosphere, but there's only so much noise anyone can handle. If this owner sent me $1000 gift certificate for free food, I'd give it to someone who needs food more than their sanity and eat somewhere else. I have been to this restaurant about three times and thoroughly enjoyed it every time! When we entered, there was no wait time and we got seated by a hostess immediately. The wait staff is very fast and efficient! Even the decor in this establishment is so different and modern. I've ordered the Texas Fajita salad and the Super 7 burrito which is my absolute favorite!
