The handle on my kitchen faucet looked like it had come apart. I could turn on my water, but the more times I did it, the worse it looked. I was afraid it would come apart completely and I wouldn't be able to use my sink. I called Atlas Plumbing (never used them before). "Justin" showed up less than 30 minutes later. Something had come unscrewed inside the handle, and it just needed tightening. (I can't explain it, since I'm not a plumber.) He showed me what to do if it ever happens again. Atlas did it again, I've been having been having problems with hot water making it to the back of the house so after the first successful transaction with Atlas I called them again. After mentioning what I was looking for they said they could have a tech over within 30 mins to provide an estimate. Justin arrived on time and he has done my water heater previously. He made some suggestions and we agreed on the solution. After giving me the damage I agreed to the price and he had the job done in an hour. Justin was fast and courteous and did a nice job . We spent over $30k 3 years ago on our bathroom remodel with Atlas. We've had a few issues and most recently the tub they installed leaked at the drain connection. Water came pouring in to our kitchen below from the light fixture. When I called them the receptionist first said they had no record of our remodel. I provided them the information and then they acknowledged it. The plumber came out and told me they only warranty there connections for one year and this was just wear and tear. HOW CAN IT BE NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR WHEN ITS INSIDE MY FLOOR? ANYTHING INSIDE A WALL/FLOOR/CEILING IS A LIFETIME CONNECTION. I decided to go with paying $1200 just to get it fixed. Then their plumber broke the tub drain assembly and charged me an additional $300 for the part that took over a week to get. They even had the nerve to tell me that if they couldn't get the part from the manufacturer that I would have to BUY a NEW TUB. We're still having problems with the $2500 leaky tub filler that they want to charge me to fix even though they installed it. STAY AWAY from this company. I called Atlas Plumbing as i had a mainline water leak on my rental property in Henderson. I had already received two quotes from plumbers assigned by my locaal property manager. I contacted Atlas because their website specifically mentioned trenchless repairs for both mainline water supply and sewer lines. The other bids involved digging a trench and breaking up the driveway. I explained on the phone I wanted a trenchless bid for the mainline leak. The person I spoke to, Joe said that they did that and we scheduled a plumber to inspect the site. Shane the plumber asssigned sent me two bids, both involved digging trenches and breaking up the driveway. The like for like bid of replacing the mainline with 1" pex and patching the drive was more than double either of the previous bids. Shane left me a voicemail stating that Atlas does not perform trenchless mainline repairs/replacements, due to code. That is fine, but Atlas should not have said they do that work, and they shouldn't have charged a $65 non-refundable inspection fee (which was not disclosed on my initial call to Atlas, but rather taken when my property manager scheduled the inspection with Atlas and our tenant.) I don't know if Atlas performs quality services, but there was clear communication from me on the service requested based on their website information. Atlas should have explained that they don't perform that service and they collect a non-refundable inspection fee. read more

I paid Atlas $1000 to replace three valves under my kitchen sink. The job was complete in two hours. I noted after the work was complete that water pressure on the cold water side was down about half it was before the work was performed. The tech just shrugged and left. I placed a warranty call to fix the water pressure issue. When the same tech arrived he was visibly annoyed and proceeded to rudely gaslight me that the cause of the water pressure problem was due to calcification on my existing equipment that he reinstalled. He quoted me another $300 to replace what he insisted was a calcified part. I declined the work. The next day I disassembled cold water side and found that the tech had installed an existing part incorrectly. There was no calcification in the part as he insisted. I correctly reinstalled the part and got my water pressure back. Atlas attempted to charge me for unnecessary work and overcharged me in the first place. I reported this to the company but did not receive a reply. I will not use them again. read more

I've used Service Plus for 4 years to service my Rinnai tankless water heater. Since they installed the Rinnai, I assumed they were the right company for service. In 4 years they never recognized that there were issues with the machine. Frequently I experienced both the hottest and the coldest shower...all within a 30 second span. Water flow always seemed weak and I would have to turn the shower all the way to hot to get a warm warm flow shower. That changed today. I made decision to use a different service company and used the Rinnai website to find alternatives. The closest company was Atlas Plumbing. I called, Joe answered the phone and told me that they would be at the house in about an hour. Alex, the service tech, sent me a profile prior to arrival. He showed up on time, dressed professionally including a bow tie! It took him less than 5 minutes to identify a multiple number of issues. He fixed the issues and flushed the machine in about 2 hours. I took my first shower in the fixed machine...it's a different world! Strong hot water flow throughout the shower! This was the experience I had expected 4 years ago when I bought this machine. I am tremendously happy with the service from Atlas and Alex is absolutely top notch!!! Once a great company, but oh how things have changed. Got a recent call from Atlas offering a complimentary water heater draining. I completely forgot that nothing good is ever free. Plumber Alex shows up in less then couple of hours from the phone call & proceeds to drain my water heater. He checks the anode rod, & obviously it needs to be replaced. How much? He quotes me $425 for an easy install while the water heater is already drained. No thank you! I got it done by the good folks at Desert West the next day for $249. Before leaving the Atlas tech wants to check all of my bathrooms & kitchens "just to make sure i don't have more problems inside". Again, NO THANK YOU. Now he has an attitude, fills my water heater, & leaves. He conveniently left my pilot light off, and also did NOT turn my water softener back on, which he'll be happy to know it took me a week to figure that one out. I recommend avoiding Atlas Plumbing & giving Desert West a call for water Heaters, & give City Wide a call for personal service, and reasonably priced plumbing. read more

I called the day before they came to ask about how they are going to figure out which holes to cut. Also asked if it was a guessing game. I was assured that there would be special equipment according to the employee and that everything would be very neat. The service call was about $380 to cut two really big holes which were about a foot larger than they needed and weren't as clean as I was expecting. The professionalism could've been a little more on point. I didn't really appreciate the sarcasm and undermining. Also, when the pipes were cut and water started coming out, they had one little rag and so to protect my home I had to go grab two beach towels to put underneath their work so the water would stop going into my walls. And the laundry door kept getting left open in 100° plus weather when I have two AC's cranking. I'm keeping it to the point and these are just the simple key points I noted. The first cut was also going to be in the wrong spot. Thankfully, I had a little spy camera to be able to identify that the pipe was not there. The call took about four hours because of several reasons. 1. They didn't have the right equipment and had to switch vans. 2. They then had to have an additional van show up with one more plumber to help identify and trace the leak. 3. They then had to call back another Van for reasons I don't know. 4. After they quoted me $4000 to run one pipe about 20 feet I declined. At this point, I wasn't very confident in the work and I also thought that that was overpriced. 5. They had to return to the warehouse again for more equipment just to cap my pipes. 6. It took about 30 minutes for them to clean up the pipes because the cuts were not very clean. 7. There was also no offer to replace my 2' x 2' piece of drywall that just got thrashed. read more

I had a light leak in my cold water line in adjacent wall at bathroom and bedroom. I called Atlas because they were close by in Henderson and I was headed out of town. They responded promptly and the work took about an hour tops, not including the "plumber" had to go get a 12" piece of "commercial" pex pipe. The wall was cut out very shoddily, not stud to stud due to inexperienced labor. He cleaned up with a shop vacuum with no filter blowing drywall dust all over my bedroom and bathroom. I was told that I'd get a 10% military discount (didn't) and ended up paying $654 for the fix. Price gouging! Never again, could've fixed it myself but didn't have time. read more

Oh boy! I alone signed a contract on 9/1/23 for a surprise tub/shower to walk-in shower conversion for my disabled, elderly parents home. I live out of state and flew in, verbally and contractually assured the entire Scope of Work would be completed 9/5-9/7 2023. They wrecked out the existing prefab shower on 9/5 and then everything went sideways. They attempted to switch out pre-selected custom design materials with whatever they had on hand. I could feel something was fishy and asked them to produce their work permit. They ignored the request until 9/8, when the owner S.R. called and demanded that they did have an approved permit and literally ended up yelling at me before she finally hung up on me. City records confirm that S.R. didn't even apply for a permit until after she yelled at me. The salesman, D.V. (who is never available because he is 'sick') employed deceptive sales practices to secure the contract. In the contract it clearly states that no job will be scheduled to start until all materials are secured, in good condition, and the homeowner equally gets to verify they are acceptable. They made excuses, 'performed miracles' to pick up the correct materials from the manufacturer Tyvarian, Inc. and kept working. They attempted to have the job inspected the morning of 9/14, when the City of Henderson permit wasn't even approved until after 7p that night. The city inspector G.M. almost passed them, until my father pointed out there was no permit and G.M. had to fail the project. Because the shower had been 'mostly' built, Atlas demanded that the project was 'substantially complete'. How is a failed inspection 'substantially complete'? That day, the smarmy salesman D.V. approached my elderly father and demanded he immediately remit the remaining 50% - a $500 hold...on a contract he had nothing to do with and NEVER should have found out what I was willing to pay for the project -- my dad actually called me, afraid, and told me he was going to just pay them. There are SO many details, and far too many to write, but it's April 8th, 2024 (7 months!!!) and the shower is still completely demolished and they refuse to even return the space to the pre-fab jetted tub/shower. Just...research them. Research them through BBB, Yelp (including the non-suggested reviews), and check with the Nevada State Contractors Board to see how many infractions they have. I didn't do that and my elderly parents haven't had a functional facility in seven months. Oh! They also LOVE the phrase "I can appreciate that/your frustration." And, see how many times the owner S.R. blames the clients for everything. This entire time, they have yet to even tell me they are sorry that THEY are responsible for all of this (including the 2nd failed inspection and the terrible 'craftsmanship' that released about 76 gallons of water into my folks home). Atlas Plumbing, Inc use deceptive sales tactics and are unscrupulously willing to blame clients who hire them. Thank God for American Express! I disputed their charge three times for to their failures. TWICE they literally provided AMEX fraudulent 'proof' and information to secure the first 50% deposit. Thank Dog Atlas Plumbing, Inc. doesn't have a dime of my money. Alaska Airlines does, though! The company did, on Dec. 28th tell me of I gave them 5 days notice, they would complete the project in three days. I tried this twice and once the President told me they wouldn't do it. The next time, they just didn't show up. The company has had their attorney reach out twice to ask me to fly down AGAIN, but now they want 14 days notice and they say they will get the job done in 5 days. I'm not up for playing Charlie Brown to their Lucy tactics anymore. *My last review violated Yelp's community guidelines and the owner (rightfully) had it nuked. read more

We had the pleasure of meeting Cameron and his apprentice, both highly professional and knowledgeable assessing multiple issues that we were experiencing in our bathroom and kitchen. These guys were like doctors doing triage starting with what could be the smallest problem to the biggest. They won over my mom and that's hard to do because she's a pro at problem solving. When Cameron came back by himself he managed to save us from a nightmare plumbing issue because he was able to see where the blockage was making our gigantic problem a more simple one. Used the service and had Justin L. Come out to help with a hot water issue. He advised it was the fact the pilot was off. He said he would have to charge us to turn it on and when asked the price he said he "couldn't" give us the price. Finally after several moments he said it would be $264.22. We said no since that was a little steep just to turn it on. He replied in a snarky manner referring to YouTube being a great teacher and walked out and slammed our gate door. I would have used this service since it was so speedy but if you have employees who are blatantly that disrespectful I can't see myself ever calling back. I was sort of a repeat customer. (see my earlier review) I had a good job done on a water heater replacement. When I told my home insurance agent the price, she was surprised and said I could have done better. (the plot thickens here) So when my mobile home shower faucet went out, I called Atlas to see what the estimate would be. The faucet had been replaced about 10 years ago. Parts for mobile home were hard to come by back then. I didn't realize that that had improved. I still expected difficulty from repairmen and parts supply. Atlas came on time and checked out the shower. (A friend had already sawed an access hole.) The plumbers needed to call around for a replacement faucet. Eventually they said they couldn't find one in town and would need to order it. I was also suggested that I completely replace my tub with a modern shower, to upgrade everything. I agreed to see the salesman for that and the plumbers left. When sales got here, I was given the sales pitch/explanation as to what could be done to improve my bathing. It sounded over the top. It's just not me to do that. The estimate for just replacing my faucet was $1800. The estimate for the shower conversion was $9600. I discussed this with my insurance agent. She referred me to her handyman. The next morning, he came over and capped off my shower faucets. He was surprised that, at least, this simple thing hadn't been done, because of waiting for parts. The water for everything else could be on. I had been totally off water for almost 2 days. His cost $168. (parts and service) I learned I could find this faucet at home depot (if in stock) and at amazon!! I ordered from amazon to expedite delivery. About $45. I was recommended by the handyman to replace my very old toilet. That sounded good to me. Home depot $99 access panel for the hole in the wall $20 The handyman came back the next day to replace my shower faucet and install the new toilet. Another service fee. That's all! Same shower with a new faucet. New toilet. For a few hundred dollars. WTH Atlas!!!? read more

I paid 6 thousand for a water main break. They replaced with all new pipes and fitting. All their equipment and part. 1 year and 3 weeks later there is now a leak in their pipes and they want to charger over 1k to repair said it's 3 weeks past warranty. A new main should last more than a year. Terrible work and company to charge me again . When they know they replaced with everything new last Sept 30th. One of the plumbers said it was the threads on the part. They other guy with atlas after talking to his boss said they have to dig up my yard again and it would cost over 1k. My neighbor looked at for me and it was the threads on the part. He bought a new part for 20 bucks and leak is fixed. They were trying to scam me and over charge a Senior who they think is stupid . read more

Had a leak where my main connects to my irrigation. I had to shut off the water at the street. I called Atlas and they had Cameron out in about an hour. While he was exposing more of the main to repair it he found a coupling that had come loose. He fixed both those issues and when the water was turned back on discovered a 90 that had a couple pin hole leaks. He replaced that as well. He communicated the issues and what the repairs would be and how much they would cost beforehand and did superb work in fixing them. I will absolutely call back and request Cameron the next time I need a plumber. read more

After draining the tank, replacing the control valve, lighting the pilot. It was 45 minutes. He is a model employee and should be recognized for his knowledge , skills and abilities. I arrived home after a workout this morning to my garage flooding with water from my hot water heater. I did a quick review for Henderson plumbers and found Atlas Plumbing. They were able to come to my house within 2.5 hrs of my call and reviewed the situation carefully. The plumber, Alex Gonzalez, recommended a new water heater since mine was 10 years old and was leaking from the bottom of the heater. He proposed a couple of possible solutions and I asked him to get me a new water heater. He left and returned within 40 minutes with a new water heater and installed it right away. We had hot water about 45 minutes later. Thank you Atlas Plumbing and Alex for helping us out so quickly and getting our hot water back! read more

I hate to write a bad review as our technician was friendly and seemed to care about the work he was doing. However, after he fixed the leak under the kitchen sink and tightened the faucet the house began to smell horribly. Like so bad it made us nauseous and have a terrible headache. Then we started seeing drain flies. I'm not sure why this would happen but when my boyfriend called to ask about it, he was first met with a nice, friendly person who offered to send someone out within an hour to check it out. They said they would message him when they were heading over. We were impressed with their customer service. Then he receives a call from some extremely rude man with an attitude that says the technician won't be out tonight and can come tomorrow. He says this of course because they closed in ten minutes- why did the first guy said he could come if he couldn't? Do your customers not matter? We tipped the technician $30 when he originally came because we understand the hard work they do and how expensive everything is now. We would expect the company to treat us with respect in return. Then this man wants to argue with my boyfriend and say it sounds like a drain issue and has absolutely nothing to do with their work. Okay, so if that's true then why did neither of these problems exist prior to this work being done? I'm beyond disappointed at the attitude and lack of customer service given by this company. I'd the technician would've came out to take a look and see what he could do then I would've been thrilled but whoever that was who rudely called back ruined it all for us. I'm sad to say, I no longer recommend or will be using this company. Maybe treat your customers nicely and this won't happen- he could've lost the attitude and sent someone out in the morning and I'm sure we would've been okay with that but to say one thing, then call back and say no, AND have a rude attitude is unacceptable. read more

My kitchen sink was clogged and I threw away $340 on a shoddy snake job by a rival company who then wanted an additional $700 to hydro jet the pipes (on top of the $340 I had just paid them to unsuccessfully snake). I said no thank you and went in search of a reputable and reliable plumber... and Atlas was it! A friend recommended them, they were able to come out next day and repair my sink in under an hour for WAY less than what the other guys were trying to con me out of! Where do I begin? So last year in (I believe) July or August of 2021 we had Doug from Atlas come out for a assessment of our bathroom since we had water damage from our leaking shower door. Doug came out and really gave us hope for a great remodel(100% false hope) and great looking shower that would eliminate our leak issue and give our bathroom a awesome new look. Well, we weren't disappointed on the look but the time of starting the project to its completion we were PROMISED, the craftsmanship, and the "oh we will be there for any needs you guys might have" are falling well below tolerable and heading more into a "wtf!?" Area. We were told the project would start in September, got pushed to October, then November, and that's when it finally started. We were told it was to be a 5-7 day job ha well that was a lie. Job took about a month to finish, and when it was "finished" it wasn't. Why did it take almost a month or more to finally get a shower door installed? More than a month of bugging and empty promises. Thanks Atlas. And when we had the work done they installed a really cheap inefficient toilet that they didn't even seal since there's a gap between it and the floor. Our shower head handle isn't sealed to the wall, our door still has a small leak which is what caused our issues in the first place. The floor and wall (damage due to their "demolition")has not been repaired even though Doug has kept making empty promises to have someone reach out to us to make everything right. At this point it's nearly a year since I DROPPED $5K CASH TO START THIS PROJECT. If I could I would leave a negative star review. Mosaic and Atlas are not getting another payment from me until this is fixed and if they want to avoid further issues and bad reviews then I expect a resolved matter from you and to cover some of that payment. If not that's fine and thanks for a $5k custom bathroom because I will not be making any payment to this less than ok company. BTW your contractors are rude. I would never hire you guys for anything ever again. You have my number Doug. I look forward to your call. read more

I would love to have given these guys a higher rating, but their follow up service is border line terrible. I had a water softener installed by them a couple of months ago. The installation was fine, but I had a question after they finished the install about programming for the water hardness level into the system. I called the office and they promptly said that my technician (Juan) would call me back ASAP. Never heard from him. I called back and the office person apologized and actually gave me the technician (Juan's) cell number. I called and left him a message that I just had a very quick question to ask him. Never heard from him. I called a THIRD time and the office person was shocked that I had never got a response back. She assured me that (Juan) would call me back within the hour. Guess what....never heard from him. I actually ended up going through the manufacturer in Phoenix to get my question answered. If you want to roll the dice and assume that you will never need to talk to these guys after your installation I would use them.....but if you thinks that's a crazy way to run a business I'd go with a different company. read more
