But then again, considering my experience with San Diego North Endodontics, I should have expected this. Early last year, I had enough pain to make an emergency visit to my regular dentist. They subsequently sent me over to Doctor Chesler's office for a consultation. Turns out I had an incomplete root canal from a previous dentist many years ago that wasn't done quite right. They got me in right away to resolve the issue and that is exactly what they did! The entire procedure was a cake walk with immediate pain relief. Although there was residual pain due to healing, it has gradually been getting less. My 6-month visit revealed substantial improvement, and my one-year visit showed missing bone structure filling back in. It's to the point of only slight sensation while flossing. Ok, so much for the technical stuff. Regarding Dr. Chesler, I felt like I was his ONLY patient! He kept me fully informed about everything sparing no details. Additionally, he is compassionate in addressing any patient concerns. It's like he goes beyond the call of duty!

AND - he was fast. The procedure was on the most inaccessible tooth possible, and yet I was in and out of the office in about 45 minutes! And the results are excellent! I had virtually no pain after the anesthetic wore off - thanks to his gentle (and quick) technique. I called so many dental Offices even the ones that said emergency dental work and ones that opened till 7pm. No one would take me and most of them closed even earlier than reported on Google/yelp. I finally got lucky and called Dr. Martin's office and Tamara his wife was so nice on the phone. I explained to her my situation, she was so understanding and put me in at 6pm even though they closed at 6:30pm. Dr. Martin was super thorough and patient. He took his time to explain why my crown keeps popping off and he even fixed it so my bit was better. They are old school but can be trusted. You can tell they truly care about their patients. If I lived here I would definitely continue to go back.
