Quick snack before our tour! So delicious!

Great place to stop for a quick bite before or after your day of fun in the area! Fast service and friendly!

What an amazing view ! Just stop for something! Surely you need some sort of refresher& this place will feed your soul. Just stop & enjoy the ambiance! However , a meal here is a treat! We enjoyed our orangeBeer and banana BEER VERY MUCH . Our onion rings "weren't available"& our French Fries were stone cold but we didn't really want them , so we didn't make a fuss . Our elk burgers were slightly over cooked but the goat cheese and arugula toppings were choice, so a little Mayo moistened things up nicely . Our waitress was beyond perky and several other staff stopped by to "check on us "too and everyone was extremely enthusiastic. We would definitely recommend stopping here if you are near Royal Gorge .

Better than the average connected-to-an-attraction restaurant. Fast, clean, friendly and my Caesar Salad was so good. I finished the entire thing and not one wilted lettuce leaf to be found.

Great outdoor place to grab some food before white river rafting. The the friendly staff, the spacious space, plenty of parking and out door corn hole games made the place a fun place to hang out.

This place is cute and nice to chill at before doing river rafting (the place is attached to it). The views are not as great as you'd think but it is still an awesome place to eat. The waitors were attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The food was delicious and the drink was good & strong. Definitely try it out and sign up for river rafting

So so so good. This was the most peaceful and relaxing restaurant I've experienced in a long time. The open air and scenic views make this a must visit. I got the seafood of the day scarlet snapper with loca beans and mashed potatoes was so perfectly crusted and seasoned I wanted to lick the plate. A great relaxing and delicious Destination!

We walked through the front patio area and pulled open the door. It was a bit dark, and I immediately saw a bar. I was concerned that this was a 21+ restaurant but noticed a child sitting in a booth nearby. Thank goodness! The bartender motioned that we could sit anywhere. We initially sat at a table, but it was a bit wobbly, so we moved to a booth. She came over with some menus shortly along with silverware. We let her know we'll be sharing a few plates, and this is what we ordered: * Basque Mussels $16 - The mussels were good and the broth was enjoyable as well. 4/5 * Blintzini $16 - This was an enjoyable crepe with wild mushrooms and bleu cheese cream. 4/5 * Fishermen's Stew $14 - The stew was just okay. It was very hot from the beginning to the end. It just wasn't a wow dish for us. 3/5 * Spanish Oxtail $26 - Now this is a winner of a dish! The bison just fell off the bone and was so flavorful! It came with their signature Summa pots. We did inquire on how long it would take to have another order, but we were in a time crunch, so we didn't get a chance to. In retrospect, we would have ordered two plates of this along with another order of Summa Pots or Loaded Summa Pots. 5/5 * Pineapple Mango Cobbler $12 - Listed on the menu as seasonal fruit, we asked what kind of fruit it was and pineapple and mango was the answer. It was enjoyable and had me looking up recipes to make cobblers at home. 4/5 The bartender was also our waitress, so she had to move around quite a bit. Therefore, we did need to ask for more water or wave for another napkin. Overall, we enjoyed our visit at Summa! They have various events including Trivia Sundays and weekday happy hour options.

Thus, when we got to Poncha Springs and suddenly had 4G again, we chose the first food truck listed on Yelp. We did not know what to expect from a rural food truck with only 3.5 stars at the time of our visit, but our growling bellies demanded that we risk it. OMG are we ever glad we did! Combine that everybody-knows-your-name feel of your local dive-bar, with the earnestly eclectic comfort of your favorite independent coffee house, then hide that under a wooden carport, and you will have the vaguest impression of the dining room. An order window faces into the humbly hip dining room, and a bright white sign, looking for all the world  like an oversized tri-fold pamphlet displays the menu.  I know exactly what I want from the pictures on Yelp, but I have trouble finding it. Turns out that if you want fried shrimp and sweet potato waffle-fries, that's just the Shrimp Basket with a substitution. Those sweet potato fries are pretty darn amazing, though, and the shrimp are some of the best ive had this far from an ocean. Raz went for the Cajun Pork plate. I was astounded at the slow burn of the spicing, and the absolute perfection of the succulent meat. The absolute star of the whole experience, however, was his side of spicy ranch-style beans. They were savory, smoky, spicy, and had almost none of the sweetness I generally associate with bbq beans. Thus, they were the perfect pintos, and I would be willing to make the half-day drive back here just for them. This place is an absolute diamond-in-the-rough, and worth every one of the 5 stars I'm giving.

Our server asked us about drinks, and ran us through the specials, shortly after we were seated. There's plenty of seating around the bar, high top tables, and many tables around the restaurant itself. We decided to split the Caesar salad to start (it comes with tomatoes, bacon, avocados, and red onions). While I could have done without the onion, I really enjoyed this fun twist on a traditional Caesar. On to the main dishes! I went with the prime rib special, and am happy to note that not only did this come out to temperature, but it was also at least an inch thick. Beyond that, it was very flavorful, came with a creamy horseradish, as well as an au jus, for dipping, along with your choice of two sides. I went with the seasonal vegetable (green beans), and a baked potato. My husband went with the filet and was very happy bth with the temperature, and flavor, of the steak. The Mac and cheese is also delightful - it had a roux, and dynamically cheesy flavor to it. Yum! If you're looking for somewhere nearby to stop for a great meal, highly recommend. Our server was also great, and checked in on us, and refilled our waters multiple times.
