Gave the local table one final try today and unfortunately I won't come back. The last time we came the food wasn't up to par but the server is the reason we decided to try again today. My mimosa was delicious. The steak however was pure gristle or fat. Showed the server how difficult it was to cut with a steak knife. They offered to make a new one but based on our past experience and the quality of beef going down it wasn't what we wanted. And because I was done eating my husband didn't want another meal. Ending up paying 45 dollars for food that was inedible. read more

The food was incredible and we were seated outside quickly. We were warned of the bees out there, but it wasn't a bother. Their brunch menu has something for everyone and I describe the food as simple with some flair. Local Table makes their own pork green chili and it's very flavorful with a smoky taste. Poached eggs were perfect on the Benedict and the potatoes had great texture and flavor. My friend and I loved the onion rings! The batter they used was so fluffy but not undercooked. I could eat a whole bowl of just those. The steak ended up being over cooked as my friend had asked for medium rare but it did still maintain flavor. Staff overall was lovely but it did take a a bit to get the check as I believe we may have been forgotten. Overall would come back again. read more

I was super impressed by this place. We ordered the fries with BBQ pulled pork and Gouda. DUDE!!! The flavor!!!!!! I got the blue bacon burger and the blue cheese was super flavorful. I had been here before and had lunch and thought it was ok, I came back with family from out of town for breakfast since it's very close to my house. We had the breakfast burrito, french toast breakfast plate and the biscuits and gravy. Everything was amazing but the biscuits were some of the flakiest I've ever had! My family was eating from my plate because they were so good! I will definitely be back to try more breakfast items and the weekend brunch menu looked awesome as well so another reason to be back!! Dinner here with family tonight. This is like earring at your neighbor's house and paying them $20 for the frozen reheated meal and Ore-ida fries, nothing was made from scratch everything was just reheated and put together in nice plates. Very disappointing. We will not be back. read more

This is a great place to get a good, filling breakfast. Their serving sizes are huge for the price! We went on a Saturday morning - they only serve breakfast/brunch on the weekends, and we opted for the brunch side of the menu. I got the hangover burrito which is bigger than a 6 inch sandwich from subway, to put into perspective how gigantic this thing was. It had a very unique choice of fillings (coleslaw, bbq pulled pork, Mac n cheese, and something else I'm forgetting) which somehow pulled together SO NICELY. It was delicious. In the future, I would probably do it without the tortilla but it was good regardless. My BF got the chicken Mac n Cheese and said it was good but the chicken lacked flavor. It wouldn't be his first pick for next time. We both got drinks from the bar menu and again, large portions of alcohol in each drink for a great price. Service was super friendly, we were seated fast on a busy Saturday, and there's plenty of parking. The bathrooms are pretty small but well maintained. We will definitely be coming back! read more

I am truly gluten intolerant. The owner came out to work in what I could safely eat. The care and service was beyond expectation. The food is phenomenal. Been here a few times and we love it! The cheese curds are my wife's favorite because of their deliciously seasoned ranch dressing. We both really enjoy their house made chorizo gravy it is amazing with anything and everything. I had the mile marker this last time which has flavorful steak, bacon and Gouda all in one omelette that is then smoked! It's rather upscale for their prices! Don't forget they have a ton of unique drinks from the bar, be careful they're good at making them strong and sweet at the same time. ;-) service is always fast and friendly. Great find today for a late lunch after hiking Cheyenne's Mountain. Incredible food and humongous portions. I had to take half of mine to go, if we return my husband & I will definitely share! We decided to give this restaurant a try on a Saturday night because 3 Margaritas had a line out the door. We drive by this place every single day, and were surprised after watching the remodel to walk in to a large cafeteria-like room. The lights were very bright and you can see everything from every seat. Not a fan of the ambiance. The outdoor seating section is basically on the sidewalk of Fontaine, a very busy road, so we opted for the cafeteria. It would have been a much more pleasant choice for outdoor seating if they had chosen to put it on the opposite side of the building. We were seated quickly, and given the option of table or booth, which was nice. The service wasn't great. The employees were perfectly nice, but being that we could see everything from everywhere, it felt very frustrating to watch them lean/sit and chat with one another while we just waited. And waited. It took a long time for our drink orders to be taken, and even longer to receive them. I don't quite understand if it is how they were trained - a company policy, or if they were just feeling leisurely. But we probably would have bought 2x more drinks if they would have come in a reasonable amount of time. I'm talking 10+ minutes between ordering and our waitress to even begin making them; which would be understandable if she was buzzing around, taking care of other tables. But we were one of maybe 3-4 total parties there, and like I said, lots of sitting/leaning and talking. The menu was great. Everything sounded delicious. Prices were a little steep and it was not ideal that there were no prices whatsoever on the drink menu. Lots of fun cocktails to choose from, but, again, would have been nice to know how much they were. The food was really good. We got the house fries, French drip and a couple of burgers and everything was so tasty. Overall I think this place could be great. If the staff had a little more urgency and excitement about the menu/restaurant, the ambiance and pricing could be overlooked. I cannot stress enough how much more money we would have spent on drinks if they had come more quickly. I probably would not recommend friends to come here, unless it was maybe a lunch when they had plenty of time to wait, or just takeout. read more

Friendly staff. Sat immediately. Cheese balls are yummy. Other food came out quickly and was served hot. The meat in Rueben's was a bit tough and chewy but had good flavor. Kids eat free on Sunday & Monday for dinner. Children's burgers were delicious. The mac n cheese is disappointingly just Kraft Mac and cheese. Their mashed potatoes and gravy are delicious. how is this place even open. my second time in giving it another try, hoping the last time was a fluke, i was wrong. rotting smell walking into an empty restaurant should've been my first red flag to turn around. not sure if anyone in the kitchen knows how to replace fryer oil because anything fried was so dark, and had a rank off taste to it, cheese curds, fries, chicken fried steak fried chicken, all grotesque. the servers don't have much else to do other than sit on their phones behind the bar. sorry to owner but man this place ain't it, slow country music the entire time makes it even more sad. don't eat here. read more

There's also reserved parking behind the building, so if you don't see anything on the street, head around back. Service was fast and friendly, and our waiter did a great job. French toast -- my wife's pick. She said it was solid -- probably not the best she's ever had, but good. Pancakes -- came out hot, fluffy, fresh, and very large. Probably eight or nine inches in diameter. Two eggs over hash (+ country gravy) -- super good. I'd recommend adding the gravy to your hash, or getting it on the side so you can add a little at a time -- it's pretty heavy and dense, and there was enough of it that I had to sift through to get to my hash and eggs. Heads up: I underestimated how large their plates are. Once all the food came out, it was clear we weren't finishing it. Coffee drinks -- the biggest letdown of the evening. My wife got her regular cappuccino and couldn't even finish it. I ordered an iced coffee drink with whiskey and Kahlúa in it, and it just wasn't good -- I don't know what the balance was supposed to be, but I'd 100% not order it again. They have a lot of alcoholic coffee drinks on the menu and I sifted through them thinking this one looked like the best of the bunch. Would not recommend it. The other thing was karaoke night.
