800° Carolinas is not part of the 800° franchise. I found out the hard way. No HH available. I had researched and pulled the franchise special information down. Either way I was seated inside. The AC wasn't working. It was hawt and that clay oven was fired up. I initially was seated in the sultry bar area where old school vibes radiated. It was dark and intense. I moved to the main dining area nestled in the corner. The windows were massive and let in copious amount of light and heat too, apparently. It was clean open and airy. Visual vibes of two distinct atmospheres. We tried the Meatballs and Wood-fired shishito peppers, with lemon tahini to start. The meatballs were moist but not seasoned. Definitely, prepackaged but had a beautiful display. The sauce was tart and seasoned but not overpowering or runny. I liked that. The ricotta allowed a richness to blend in each bite. I loved the visual. Unfortunately, I bit into foil or pan. I let the staff know and they replaced the dish. I tried the wood-fired Shishito peppers, with lemon tahini assuming they were spice or tart and they were neither. It was a large portion of peppers perfectly seared providing an aromatic invigorating experience. The tahini paired perfectly giving great flavor to a very subtle vegetable. I was pleasantly surprised. The Carolina Special was surprisingly good. I'm a default pepp girl but my friend only eats chicken. The 800º signature sweet & spicy base was good and sweet, and peppers gave a little spice. I was expecting vinegar based sauce but it wasn't tart at all. Ample chicken strung throughout each bite was amazing with a bit of sweet onion in every perfect bite. I got a cookie for my trouble. Which was a nice gesture. The ice cream was vanilla bean as I could see each dot but had no flavor as was the cookie. However, we ate each bite. So, there's that. Minus the foil hiccup the meal was pretty great. The Food, Service and Ambiance, all great. It was the dessert we got to go that was an absolute joke. We had a delicious meatball sandwich and fingerlings potatoes that were some of the best I had ever had. The meatball sandwich was really good too. The bread made it perfection and not too saucy so it wasn't a mushy mess. I split it with my hubs and secretly wish I hadn't - but don't tell him. And honestly I would not have been able to eat it all on my own. We sat on the side patio where we were protected from the sun and it had a nice breeze. The server was very kind and attentive. I asked for extra ice and she hooked me up AND it's the GOOD ICE! ~ if you know you know. So Coke Slushie for me- yummmm. We ordered cheesecake to go since it was a Saturday lunch kinda midday meal so I would have it for evening and when we went to open that evening after traveling very carefully with it and only a few minutes away the very expensive piece of cheesecake was 4 total bites. It wasn't even as large as the side of the container laid on its side (which it was smashed against) It seemed to have just been tossed in the box knowing it was to go, but it was pitiful. I would really not complained if their desserts were not highly priced and tiny from another previous experience. I had a chocolate chip cookie skillet once that was no larger than one regular chocolate chip cookie . So it must be a thing. Wonderful service. Wonderful food. I stopped by 800° for a quick lunch, it is a beautiful restaurant. I was lucky enough to snag a seat by the window. I had Shane for my server and he was great, very attentive and friendly. I took advantage of the lunch specials and got both the Caesar salad and the Margherita pizza. The Caesar salad would have just been average for me if not for the croutons, I loved the croutons! Not sure what seasonings were used but *chef's kiss*. The Margherita pizza was delicious! The crust was just the right amount of thin! I had both the Blueberry French 75 and the regular French 75 for my drinks and they were both equally delicious. We found this while walking around exploring. It's within walking distance of the hotels here. The area is beautiful outside both at night and during the day. Lots of dining options and high end stores for you splurgers. The wood fire concept is what attracted us. They have a gorgeous outdoor seating area but it was too hot for us. The inside is just as beautiful and as you look out the window you can imagine yourself in Venice, Italy. We got the wood fired Honey & Bourbon wings to start. These wings definitely came from a chicken that was plump. They were big, meaty and tasted good, though I would have liked more glaze or seasoning. The Bianca pizza was thin with a hint of garlic and fresh cheese, exactly how we like it. Every bite was heavenly. The meal filled us up both and we even had some leftovers for later at the hotel pool!!!! The setting is very relaxing with cool lighting and art. Tables have vases with pretty flowers, it all adds to the atmosphere of relaxation and definitely an enjoyable experience. Staff was friendly and stated on top of our drinks. Let me tell you! When they put down this big roasted cauliflower, I was very skeptical! Who knew that cauliflower could be THIS delicious that you want to eat just that? The hummus on the bottom was a bonus! The pizza was amazing and we love a good wood fired pizza! The salmon was added to a Caesar salad and it was prepared perfectly, medium rare is a preferred temperature! The space is small but with a good amount of seating and super clean. I love the seating with the view of the alleyway. The staff was friendly and the pizza was a bit pricey but we liked what we got- tartufo pizza that had bianca sauce, truffled pecorino, wild mushrooms, roasted garlic, fresh mozzarella, arugula, and truffle oil. I think they may be best IN PERSON, DINING IN and not for take out/to go orders. First, wasn't sure where to park so I went to the front and sure enough 2 other people had to learn their way along with me. It's way off in the back. See video for length and signage. But why not put a sign up on entry into the shopping complex? Second, while waiting you can see into the kitchen. I lovvvveee an open kitchen (Shout Out to Chicago and iTaly) but I'm watching the pizza guy push dough with blue gloves then grabs a sip of water from his bottle THAT HAS A COVER (which is proper) but never switched gloves as he went back to pressing out dough and the bottle is on the line. May health inspectors see this and train everybody. Anywhoo, 4 stars for the Caesar Salad. They forgot my dressing on the side for 1 and I picked up 1.5 hours late. 2 stars for the wings may be grilled but more flats than drums. And, I got 2 orders since their grilled. Pizzas were lovely even if the kitchen prep can be sketch. My family enjoyed the thinness. I enjoy a direct fire. So, I can recommend with warnings and we shall be back but I know where to park, (2) that I should speak up on wing portions and dressings and (3) I trust it'll be even better. read more

First, this place is super cute! The ambiance was everything from the lighting, decor and music. Patio area was fun as well. Decided to dine here for date night. We started with drinks that were a book full of drinks from cocktails and beers to cocktails, and no prices shown for anything. I had the martini Dani rose which ended up being $18, and not worth it. Hubby had the old fashion which was $24 and more than the cost of a high end steak house in the area. Appetizer-we did the woodfired wings with the house sauce! Soooo good! A nice touch a spice and flavor. Took a good amount of time to come out. Much longer than expected. Entrees-we did a double pepperoni pizza with green peppers and caramelized onions and the woodfire burger and fries. Both the pizza and burger was packed with flavor. Food was a 10/10 across the board. Took a long time to receive. Dessert-we did the Ernest hill skillet cookie. This had to be the smallest most nasty skillet cookie we've ever had. The cookie tasted fake and was pretty tiny compared to your normal skillet cookie at other restaurants. Definitely wouldn't get this again. Walked in to 800 degrees, sat at a beautiful high top table with a great view of the bar. Hunter was our server, and he had such great energy and really elevated our experience. Both pizzas were enough to feed my small party of 3. We loved the wood fired char. My only thought was to add a pinch of flakey sea salt to my pizza. This was my first time exploring charlotte and this place was recommended on TikTok. I was excited to try because the food looked really promising, I hate to say i was disappointed. I started with the truffle fries which were decent but you cant really mess up fries. Next I went to my biggest disappointment which was the woodfired chicken. Nothing about the texture gave cooked or fired, it seems underdone (not raw). The best part about the wings was the sauce, thats literally it. However the service was great and my waitress made sure that everything was taken care of. I met a friend for Friday night dinner at 800 Degrees and happened into Bar One Lounge. It is located in Phillips plaza off facing Fairview Rd. There is plenty of free parking, but the shopping center also had complimentary valet. We were greeted warmly by a waiter when we entered. The inside is very cozy and intimate. There are not many tables and booths, so we had reservations on the patio. It was a chilly and windy evening, but they had heaters on the patio to keep you warm. We didn't have one directly at our table, but we sat in between two and were comfortable. The chairs are wicker or rattan and were very uncomfortable. They need chair cushions or something similar to soften them up. But the patios are well lit and create a beautiful ambiance for a date night, romantic dinner or girlfriends catch up. The cocktail, wine and beer menu is a book. Literally. They have cocktails and mocktails so there is something for any palette. I tried the PYT... cute MJ reference for my 80s babies and lovers. It was very fruit forward and the lemon and strawberry flavors were very pronounced. It wasn't for me, so I ordered a glass of wine. I wanted the Zinfandel blend, but the waiter generously brought me a second sample of another Zinfandel too. Both were delicious. The cocktails do not have prices listed on the menu which is odd since the wine and beer do. The PYT was $19 which I felt was average for a craft cocktail. It would be appreciated by patrons to know what the cost is or at least a price range prior to ordering especially since a portion of the menu has prices listed. On to the food... we had the Bbq Chicken pizza. It was tasty, but we both felt it could have been left in the oven a little while longer to get that crispier pizza crust. This theme continued with the Honeycomb Lasagna. It appeared piping hot and was very steamy when it was brought to the table. But as we removed the individual pieces of pasta that were filled with bechamel sauce, it was warm. This dish could have also used some more time in the oven to ensure it was heated throughout. We paired the Lasagna with the Crispy Brussel Sprouts which were delicious. We appreciated the large portions, attentive staff, and expansive menu, but I'd likely come back for the ambiance and drinks rather than the food. The other hidden gem is the Bar One Lounge which is just through a doorway. I knew it was there, but one of the bussers recommended we stop in. He said they "turn up" and he was surprisingly right. Great experience. When we arrived we were told they were not taking walk ins, but we could order food at the bar. And I'm glad we stayed. Bartenders said it may take a while to get food but they got our appetizers to us quickly. I recommend the hot wings and meatballs. Also the pizza, when it arrived, was hot and very tasty. By the end of our meal, there was only one other table inside and one out, and the staff completely stopped working and 7/8 of them were just standing around the host stand chatting. We sat with empty water glasses the majority of the meal and then sat forever until some other person we hadn't seen the entire time brought us a check. I would not return. I came here with a group for dinner recently, and after being underwhelmed by the Uptown location, I am happy to say I was much more impressed by this spot here in South Park! The pizza was much more thoroughly cooked for a nice crispy crust and a solid base. I ordered the Thaddeus while making some adjustments to take out some ingredients I didn't want. The sweet and spicy sauce base has a wonderful flavor, and the fried chicken paired with the smoked provolone was very good as well. The dining room here is smaller than I imagined so space fills up fast. They share a space with Bar One so if you arrive early like I did, I recommend popping over there for a cocktail. Overall they definitely set themselves up as a higher end pizza place, and this is reflected in the menu with appetizers like burrata, and truffle fondue fries. It also reflects in the prices a bit with the pizzas costing around $25.00. Still I have to say the food was very good, and I would certainly go back again for more. read more

I've been here a few times before, I came for my friends bday dinner on NYE. They had a pre fix menu for $125 a person and it was sub par. I asked for medium temp steak and it was almost well done. I didn't even say anything to the waitress because obviously very busy and already took awhile for the food to come out.
