We received three estimates prior to agreeing to go with this company. Daniel was the sell's rep and appeared competent and knowledgeable of what we requested. Our job was a small one back splash and new countertops in our kitchen. Daniel stated he could and would complete the project in three days. This is where the nightmare began. On Monday one guy shows up to demo it took about 6 hours. I asked him would he be back tomorrow to start working, he said no I'll be back Wednesday. On Wednesday no one showed up I called Daniel and he did not respond until later in the day via text stating he was sorry the slab broke during fabrication and wasn't sure when another one would be available. Lie lie lie. To make this story short my wife called the manager and he was rude and threatened to sue us if we canceled the project. Fast forward two weeks later two guys show up at our house at 8 am ready to finish the job after we hired another company to do a very simple job. We allowed 800 to complete the job and lost a 800 hundred dollar deposit with another company. 800 remodeling gave us a discount which did not cover our loss, but we were exhausted with this entire process. Do not allow this company in your house especially if you do not live anywhere near them all there employees live in LA county and are not capable of jobs out of there area in a timely manner. When I Called them. They came after few hours. They checked my roof. And gave me quote. I was hesitatant because they are overpricing me to replace my roof shingles. ($24,000) and telling me that they have all the licensing, city permit and liability insurance. So We decided to go with them expecting that everything will be smooth. After a day or two. They start doing my roof and After few days they finished the project and I noticed and even told the worker to put my gutters back properly. but failed to put the gutters back properly.(they removed nails and the gutters are not properly level.) After few days when it starts raining. My closed patio starts leaking due to the gutters that was not replaced properly so I called them. I told them to fix it. They sent worker to my house and instead of putting back my gutters back properly they put a TARP on top of my closed patio that causes my Patio roof and ceiling to collapsed. It was like a patio with waterfalls coming in from the collapsed roof. Drywalls wet, New Furniture wet, my floorings wet. I called them to fix this matter because I don't want any molds into my house that will cause Health Issues. So They will promise me and assure me not to stressed out and everything will be ok. They offered me to "replace it with a new roof and all damages will be replaced including my new furniture. and what makes it worst they were Rushing me to sign the completion paper so that they can get paid. (Which I did not sign because job is not complete yet) They just fixed the roof. Did not replace the whole panel. And They offered me check to replace my furniture that I have to pay extra more dollars to buy a new ones. Basically to make it short. They Replace the flooring with Vinyl floor, repaint the walls and replace the damage ceilings. and finally fix the gutters to level it and put nails on it. they did not replace the roof they just fixed them. I will even give them 0 if given a chance, for that price they should know better and be professional enough too handle all the damages including the stressed they gave me and my Family. Negative review! Pictures will show the story! very very disappointed! Just to let you know all guys that I have all the proof of what they did to my House. Im just being honest here. I AM NOT GETTING ANY from it. The manager or the ownet was trying to call me and I told them what happened! And now the owner is trying to tell me that i am doing a false accusations from what messed they did to me. "black mail"? Why would I waste my time to do that. This is real! I have all the proof. Their estimate was about 5 times higher than the next highest estimate. Their estimate was $3100 and another licensed company would do the same job for $640. I needed some work done on my tile roof. About 5 tiles replaced and some vents resealed. Ridiculous. Leo was the guy who gave that estimate. read more

I had them do a full house remodel on my 61 year old Mothers house. [Front and back yards. Kitchen. Electrical. Lights. Front Room. Bathroom. 3 Bedrooms. Windows. Paint. A/C / Heater. Insulation. Floors.] 100% recommend. I worked with Allen. He is very honest and straightforward with everything. Now keep in mind, this is construction lol. There were little "problems" that occurred like needing more paint on the wall or a "dip" in the floor. I was able to call Allen at any time and send him a picture. Any "problem" I had, I communicated it with him and he got it fixed. He was very kind and understanding. He really does care about you. The workers were very kind and professional. This company was a no show with not even a phone call to confirm or change the appt. time/day as a courtesy. Not sure about work quality because I did not get to that point because they hung up on me. I have a small condo I wanted fully remodeled before putting it on the market, but I still have renters in it. I explained this and the lady said they had someone in the area on Sunday (very bossy(. I told her that is not how it was going to work because I have renters. She was like ok bye. Seriously? This is a pretty decent size job, and you just hung up on me? Shady contractor company that tries to maximize profit and subcontract out all the work. They send flyers all over southern California saying "Neighborhood Contractor", but they are not located or live anywhere near. Super pushy sales people using all the typical techniques like trying to get you to do upgrades that you don't need, or try to "bundle" stuff together, or trying to waste your time by asking to "sit down and go over options". The quote I needed was for something super basic, and the person that took the measurements already had all the information that was needed to give an accurate quote, yet they refused to even give me a ball-park figure, saying that they needed to "give it to me in person". I have worked with professional contractors that all had no issue emailing me super-detailed quotes with all the break-downs and numbers, yet this company refuses to do so, which is a huge red-flag. We live in a world and time where full transparency is expected, and companies like this that still operate like a used car dealership should not exist. My sincere recommendation to anyone reading this: find a local contractor in your neighborhood (a true local, not these "fake" locals that just spam flyers everywhere). Get several quotes, and if at any time a contractor is hesitant to be transparent or tries to do a hard-sell on you, walk away. read more

Their sales person came out and told my wife and I that our first payment would be six months after completion, worker came with out a warning tore apart my kitchen and left us with no kitchen for three months, their trash and rolls of insulation from my kitchen was left in the kitchen and on the side of my house for a month and a week, the first workers came out to place and replace all electrical, all in their scheming process, two weeks later, the next day the plumber and electrician showed up, leaving me with no way of accessing my garage, on that same day a young man from 800remodeling demanding $14K from me, I was very angry, I called David (Sales person) I told him about his promise to pay six months after job completion, I gave him $7K just to get the job done, in the process his crews cut out my brand new air and heat duct, and tried to keep it a secret which never got fixed, these workers show up w out a notice, weeks will pass with out a worker in site, I received NO diagrams, schematic or blue prints at all, there were more lights installed that I never agreed to, my whole house attic was stripped of insulation place which new insulation, I was told that it was going to be the kitchen ONLY, my door bell was damaged, never got fixed, original crown molding was left undone, antique lights from my hallway were taken out and never replace, this company made three different contracts, when I got my first payment just prior of completion of work done, to keep me quiet the company gave me a check for $1K, I made my first payment and a day later then I got a bill from a Second finance company asking me for $20K that I never agreed to, I reported this to the Department of Licensing, L.A. County Adult Protection Services and the FBI, These people will coax you on getting work done you don't need, they will have a different charge or price every time you speak to them, or maybe they target elderly, I'm a Disabled Combat Veteran, leaving my project undone for a long time leaving me with out a kitchen and my family having to spend money on restaurant foods is a tactic to get the customers to agree on anything just to get the job done read more

I hired these guys to replace my roof. After the first visit they said they were done. I took a look at my roof and have a contractor (that I paid) come out and take a look at it with me and they were nowhere near done. They left a huge mess, including leaving nails all over the ground around my front door and in my rosebushes, they didn't paint the fascia to match, and they left 3 gaping holes in my freaking roof, (thank God it didn't rain). After 6 additional visits from them (at all hours of the night where I almost called the cops because I thought someone was breaking in) they still haven't fixed everything. AND I had to bring in an HVAC professional, who found that they dropped roofing material into my exhaust vent on my furnace and I had to pay to get that cleaned out. Now that they still aren't done, they are demanding payment from me and getting more and more aggressive, especially the head guy, Nathan, who started threatening my grandparents who also live in the home. He even went so far as to call my husband trash for calling out his shoddy work on the roof. THESE GUYS DON'T EVEN HAVE A ROOFING LICENSE/C39!!! They leased/loaned someone's so that they could do my roof and that roofer (whose license they used) hadn't even seen the roof until the 6th time they came out!!! Now they have started threatening to put a lien against my house which is a classic scare tactic against people that don't know any better. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY, DO SHODDY WORK, AND THEN TRY TO STRONG ARM YOU INTO PAYING THEM EVEN MORE WHEN THEY DON'T FINISH THE JOB! read more

This company tries to bully you into making a decision on the spot. When you don't, the representative becomes argumentative and confrontational. If you read your rights as a consumer under the Attorney General website common scams section it lists; a contractor pushes for an immediate decision about work (high pressure sales), which makes it impossible for the consumer to get competitive bids, check licenses or review references is considered a scam. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the level of professionalism after the initial good impression on the phone. Very shady and unprofessional people. I got a estimate of nearly $15,000 to resurface my porch and replace a portion of my fence from project manager Lucas and David. The highest estimate I received from other companies was $3500. David was insisting that I sign a contract without thinking and discussing the estimate with my partner. They tried to get me to finance the cost (before give me a price), even after I said I wasn't interested in that option. I suspect they may prey on a clientele that does not have much experience with contractors. David had a aggressive tone of voice and accused me of wasting their time and calling during COVID. I was being badgered to make a decision. Do yourself a favor and don't even get started here. I would not recommend calling them for a quote. read more

We were in need of a roof and took a chance and called 800-remodeling due to leaks coming into our home when it rained. We met with Joshua and were concerned with being able to afford a new roof and we had 3 prior estimates. When I say new, I am talking about the whole 9 yards, shingles, planks, ect.... Joshua came to our home and provided us with the best price and also gave us payment options. I often hear about people and their horrible experiences with contractors but Joshua was very professional and was in constant communication the entire step of the way. His team got everything done in 5 days!!! They cleaned up after tearing everything off down to the studs. The team was courteous and made us feel very comfortable.
