Had to tape it down to get it closed. They pack it with so much food!

Stopped here for lunch. Waited about 10 mins for the food. Tasted marinated and fresh. They gave us so much food but of course I ate it all because it was yummy. Kalua pork was yummy and the beef rib was tender. All of the meat was grilled to perfection. Would def come back again!

Great service great food a few tables to eat in but best for takeout. Small parking lot can get crowded with the liquor store at lunchtime and a pizza place but worth a trip guaranteed

Eat like a local! When I'm craving Hawaiian food, this is one of my go to spots. It's really like you're eating in your families home type vibe. I really like their short ribs! The marinade on it is delicious and pairs really well with their perfectly cooked rice and the Mac salad. The portions are great as well, good for 2 meals! All in all, the service is friendly, laid back vibes, and yummy food, I am a fan! Happy eats, loves! ^_^

This Barbecue Chicken is so good! Great grilled flavor.

I stopped at this local place on the way back from the market. I can honestly say that this was the best grilled/teriyaki chicken that I have had in a very long time. It had an excellent char-grill flavor, which comes from a great marinade and the right amount of heat on the grill. Excellent!

This was my first time visiting this Hawaiian restaurant. The indoor seating is quite small, with only two tables, plus a few tables outside. Most customers seemed to be ordering takeout. Since it was my first visit, I decided to try the special menu. I ordered the pork belly BBQ, which was rich, flavorful, and nicely fatty. If you love pork, this dish is definitely for you. I'd love to come back and try other menu items next time. One thing to note: the parking lot in front of the restaurant is one-way only. There is also street parking available nearby.

If you've ever been to Helena's in Oahu and are a fan of their short ribs, then stop what you're doing and come here now! Get their Pipi combo plate which has the short ribs and Dino ribs. This is by far the best Hawaiian short ribs and Dino ribs I've ever had in California. It's really up there with Helena's and some MAY say it's even better! I have to admit...they are NOT messing around with their short ribs and Dino ribs - definition of "tenderism" and action-packed with the flavors of Hawaii. Savor gracefully! Oh btw, shout-out to the nice girl taking our order and bringing our food! Supreme customer service! Mahalo!

Came here around 6:20pm on a Tuesday to grab dinner because I did not want to cook. It was a 15 minute wait for the food. As I was waiting, they closed the door and changed the sign to closed, so they definitely don't stay open the entire time. (Be warned if you're trying to go right before 7!) Ordered: The momona. Hawaiian bbq chicken, kalbi ribs and beef ribs. Rice and macaroni Worst fork ever. No knife. Food was really fatty and didn't have enough rice. Really nothing special. I don't think I would come back if I was craving this type of food Note: there is a different between cash vs credit card price. Not sure the fee because it didn't say exactly what it was

Man, stopped at this Hawaiian spot and got the Momona Plate. The beef ribs were my first bite. You get all the juices, some fat and some tender beef. It's second to none. The Kalbi ribs were great as well, juicy, not too chewy and just the right flavor. The chicken was decent, nothing too crazy. The macaroni was next, savory not too over the top on taste and paired with the meats, it did just what it needed to. The rice had some green stuff on it, was decent. Overall the best Hawaiian food I've had. Beef Ribs: 8.9 Kalbi Ribs: 8.8 Hawaiian Chicken: 7.5 Macaroni: 8.4 Rice: 7.2

Have driven by this place numerous times and decided to finally try it. Have to say, I was glad I did. They're known for their beef ribs but I was more interested in the kalbi and bbq chicken. Service was very friendly and accommodating, since it was my first time they let me modify one of their combos. So I basically got exactly what I wanted which was kalbi and bbq chicken. It was so good! I will definitely be returning especially to try their different loco mocos.

Two Beef Ribs and Two Short Ribs cut into 6 pieces and Mac salad. Falling off the bone, sweet marinade on both items, with the Short Rib a bit smokier. Tender and juicy and good Mac salad is always a bonus. Delicious! There are a couple tables set up if your dining in. However, most customers come in and order takeout. Prices are not too bad, but the owner mentioned price hike going up soon.

Island beef Ribs Plate. One of the best we've had! @ojbaylen

Finally tried this spot the other day! It reached all my expectations! The island beef ribs were so easy to eat! And the Big "K"ahuna special was sooooo good and hit the spot! It's a really really small spot but luckily we went after 1pm and ate outside to enjoy the nice breeze. Can't wait to try the other plates. We got our island food cravings met from this place! Mahalo!

Great staff! My friend and I stopped into this great shop in Lomita and had a fabulous meal. I love the way they do their poke - you get to pick TWO flavors of meat! How fun! It was all fresh, good selection of ingredients and the taste in the Crunchy Tuna Garlic was superb! We also loved the Spicy Salmon Mayo. I'm a huge tocino fan so when I saw it on their menu I had to get it! I was surprised it came with two fried eggs and was a nice, big portion. We also had to try their Crispy Masubi and this was fantastic. I've had many deep fried masubi versions and this was much nicer than those. This was the best breaded type of masubi I've had. Absolutely loved it and would get it again in a second. Overall, fabulous meal at Poke & More that I would go back for.

I don't trust places that have large menus because it screams "jack-of-all trades, master of none." How do you serve fresh poke while being ready to fire up a Hawaiian bbq mix plate? Parking can be challenging depending on when you go as they share a plaza. I sort of stopped going here a few months ago after they discontinued their Saturday special of buy one pound of poke, get one pound free. That deal definitely made it more worthwhile. Without that promo, the other local poke places outshine this place.

For the Poke bowls, select your bowl size, pick two from the four or so fish choices, a base (rice or salad), and for most bowls a side or two. After several visits, my experience has been fine each time. Good quality fish and fresh sides. There are also some plate options where you can select Huli Chicken or Kalua Pork. I've tried both the chicken and pork (though not on the plate option), and both were excellent. This location used to be strictly take-out, but now there are two tables inside if you'd like to sit inside. I feel compelled to mention that when I recently visited this location, they had a health grade of B from LA County displayed in the window. Yelp shows that they had 14 health code violations on September 18. Usually, I don't show too much concern for these health scores, but when a restaurant's primary product is raw fish, a lower score gets my attention.

I was a fan of their El Segundo location but I believe it is gone. This place had about 5 or 6 different fresh poke styles available during our visit. We tried the Hawaiian, the Creamy Garlic Crunch, and the Sweet and Spicy. We also ordered the Chips and Smoked Ahi Dip, and the Huli Chicken Bowl. I think I loved everything. The Creamy Garlic Crunch poke was especially amazing. It had a slight spicy kick to it and it was rich and delicious. The chips that came with the dip were obviously freshly-made wontons and I could have eaten a hundred of them. The dip was good but not as flavorful as I had hoped or had in the past. For the chicken bowl, the rice and cucumbers that came with the chicken were excellent. You get a ton of mac salad and it is excellent. The chicken was solid, too. Unless they are hiding in plain sight, the places that just sell fresh poke, without the bowl, are few and far between in Southern California. I love poke bowls, too, but sometimes the poke by itself (with the different sauces and seasoning) is just incredible. This spot serves delicious fresh poke and I will always be a fan.

You go in for what you know, and that already gets you caught up, but then you also want to try something new because there's always something new to try. Sometimes it's a gamble, sometimes it's amazing and you're like "OMG! I need this every time," and sometimes you're like "what was that?" And you really don't know what it was because the descriptions aren't in English. The staff is always super friendly. If you go for hot food during lunchtime, you will get caught up because you'll want to pile your plate high and forget they weigh it & you can easily end up with a $24 plate on top of all your groceries. They have great sweet treats that aren't super high in sugar, which is a plus. Their ramens are my favorite. I've probably tried every one. My favorite is the one with the black pieces in it (I think they're mushrooms). I still haven't tried the mushrooms, but the creamy broth mix is everything. Their sparkling sodas are always delicious. My favorite is the Hello Kitty strawberry one. I told all my friends about it, and me and my sister go regularly. My sister loves the banana milk! The thing that's good about going to Tokyo central for premade sushi is that they make all their sushi fresh daily and what's not sold is marked down and got rid of before next day compared to other markets where they sell their sushi that's like 2-4 days old. They went viral for awhile for having a hot food bar, which looked like a buffet but in reality you grab what you want but it's $15.99 a pound. The pound adds up really quick and you end with paying like $30. The food isn't that great in the hot food bar in my option so I'd skip it. The market itself is very pricey it's not a cheap market. So if your planning on buying grocery your gonna pay high prices. I'd go here for a quick sushi roll or some mochi they sell a bag from Japan for $3.99 with red bean that's pretty good. One of my favorite food item is the umami chicken karage with rice that's pre packaged and if you can snag it while it's still hot that great. Its usually on a separate table on in the refrigerated section, It's the one with some teriyaki sauce over it, not the regular one. As you exit you can grab utensils, napkins, wasabi. ginger, soy sauce. Parking is a hit and miss, it's a popular market if you go there at lunch time it's packed or weekends. Personally I drop by to get a quick bite, sushi roll or chicken karage . They do have a food court that has a Japanese bakery, takoyaki , a katsu place. Upstairs they have a sushi bar which is unique I havnt tried it but seems a bit pricey but looks like quality. Looking for something Japanese in food wise, this would be one of the places to go to look for it. I don't know why it seems like every Asian market I've been to is so cramped and hardly any space when trying to get around with a cart. It's the same here.t
