After a deer rammed into my car, I drove 30 minutes to the Auto Body shop recommended by the Insurance Company. I spent an hour waiting before being told they could not do an estimate as they did not have authorization from the insurance company. As this did not inspire confidence, I decided to find a repair shop closer to home. On contacting 821 Collision, I met Peter Kelly and he discussed my options giving me all the time I needed to ask questions and make a decision. He immediately made me feel comfortable with getting the work done there, but I wanted to wait for the insurance adjuster. When I found there was no set date for the adjuster to show up, I decided to authorize the work taking responsibility for payment on my own. The repair was like new and the paint matched perfectly. The car was also finished earlier than I had expected. Although the shop received payment upon completion of the work, they kept my old parts for review by the insurance adjuster and Mr. Kelly negotiated the reimbursement on my behalf. On every occasion that I stopped by, I was given undivided attention and honest answers to my questions and concerns. I had an issue with my fender flares on my pick up truck rubbing through the paint on both sides. I stopped by a couple body shops to get estimates and after stopping at 821 Collison I knew this was the place I wanted to get my truck fixed. As I walked in to the waiting room all the employees greeted me and had smiles on their face (even with 10 minutes till closing time) I talked to Pete and showed him my the issue I was having and what I wanted to get fixed. He was very honest with what needed to be done to get my truck back to new. I told him I Had a week with downtime that I could drop the truck off to get fixed and he squeezed me into his schedule. The entire week he had my truck he would send me updates and pictures of what they did for the day. I knew I made the right choice choosing 821 collision. This establishment is absolutely first class! I had an excellent experience working directly with the owner, Pete. The entire staff was professional, courteous and went out of there way to assist and accommodate during a difficult time after the accident. Pete communicated the process every step of the way and provided daily texts, emails and call on the status and insurance claim processing. I had the unfortunate experience with State Farm as my Insurance. I originally brought my car to Collision 821 based on recommendations. State Farm said I could pick the Body Shop of my choice. How far from the truth - I was not a good neighbor based on the State Farm Commercials. I was treated better than I could have expected at Collision 821. Peter Kelley was very helpful to walk me thorough the insurance process. Unfortunately State Farm won out and I was forced to move the car to a shop of State Farm. State Farm is a terrible company. Collison 821 is a company I would have chosen to do business with. They were thorough, honest and explained all my options. My car is a Cadillac and I am very particular about who works on my vehicle. When it comes to quality service and courtesy there is no comparison to 821 Collision. My car was legally parked when it was struck by another vehicle which caused damage to the front of my vehicle. It was not much damage, but damage nonetheless. I contacted 821 Collision and they provided an estimate and dealt with the insurance company. All I had to do was drop my car off and pick it up. They handled everything and repaired my car. When I went to pick it up, it looked like a brand new vehicle. They not only repaired my vehicle in a timely fashion in one day, but also washed it and cleaned the inside. Unfortunately my brand new MB was hit by a driver that switched lanes without looking :( We specifically purchased the model of car because of its collision rating and knew that the doors were double paneled in case of t-bone accidents, etc.. This body shop does great work. Ken and Pete do great work. They were very thorough and walked me and my insurance adjuster through their process. We used their shop since they are a Subaru certified shop and we were driving a brand new Subaru. They explained the process and what would happen throughout. Pete stayed in contact daily with updates and were able to complete the project in a very timely fashion.
