You still get your sweet treat without everything tasting loaded with sugar. And the prices?! So many of their pastries are only around $2-$2.50, so of course I walked out with a whole assortment. I even tried their ham sandwich, and OMG--the bread! It was flaky, buttery, and layered almost like a biscuit or pastry. So delicious! I also picked up some muffins, coconut pudding, strawberry shortcake pudding, and of course some turon pastries, because turon is one of my absolute favorite Filipino treats. Stopped by to grab the classic sea salt coffee because I was craving it, and, just like always, it's good! Although it's a really basic drink (espresso + water + sugar, topped with sea salt foam and cocoa powder) it hits the spot! This location is quite spacious compared to the other locations I've been to. There's a lot of walk way and a good amount of seating. It was a big busy during the time I stopped by. Quite a few people were ordering drinks, and the barista looked like he was going through it. Props to him for constantly pumping out drinks! Just horrible. I came here one two separate occasions and both experiences were the same. The first time I came here was a couple of months ago. The first thing I noticed was that the shelves were very empty. I know that items can be put out in batches so I asked if more items were going to come out. The man, who I believe was the Manager, said no. He said that they baked their last batch earlier that day and what you see is what you get. I was there around 3:30pm, so how early do they stop baking??!!!! They close at 8pm!! But I thought that maybe it was just that day. So I went there again yesterday and apparently my first experience was not a one-off. I went in around 3pm and although they did have more items this time, they did not have very much. I once again asked an employee for a specific item. He looked around and said that they did not have any. I asked if there were any in the back and he stated that they did not and the last batch was baked around 12 noon. How is your last batch at 12 noon when you close at 8pm? So they are no longer a bakery? They just sell stale items? I don't get it. He says that their last bake time just varies depending on how it goes. I understand that some days business may be better, but is this just done on a whim? Unfortunately I did not get the name of the employee, but he was very nonchalant about it. The breads are always freshly made, and by the end of the day, you'll see the counters are almost empty! Their drinks are a must-try! I have tried several flavors and they didn't disappoint me! After 5 pm on Friday I guess the magic and charm of delicious hot bread and pastry has fizzled out by now. Staff is cleaning and clearing out the shelves now. Yikes!! I figure you have to get here early in the morning to get hot and fresh bread but not after 5 pm. Americano coffee is good. Basic essential is simple and fast. Trying out their new mango lemonade tea is quite good today. A large bakery shop for many guests to enjoy playing a nice game of chess or Korean go. Lots of parking outside and restroom here is available but not clean and no toilet paper either. Yikesssss. I purchased the Hawaiian Chicken Bread and the Ube Bread. The employee that rang me up was named Victory I believe, and he scanned my app so I could earn points. Typically I'll get the pesto chicken sandwich which I love, but I just wanted a light snack so I got the two breads. I thought the Hawaiian bread would have maybe specifically flavored chicken, but instead it was more a like a Hawaiian pizza. I'm not a fan of pineapple, so I would not have chosen that one if the description were more clear. Ube Bread was good, and even though I didn't get a drink this time, I do love their strawberry one. I have been to this locate more than a few times. Every time I go on my Asian grocer run at 99 or visit my optometrist, I pop in for some bread for my girls. The bread is pretty well stocked around 11-1p when I usually go. It sounds silly but the Cerritos location always seems lacking. If I don't see a bread that I am looking for, I ask for it at the desk and they are able to pack it for me before I check out. I greatly appreciate this. This is just plain bad. Sunday morning, less than an hour after opening, and they don't have shit. A full third of their inventory, the entire bottom shelf, was missing. The post-church hour is one of the biggest breakfast rushes of the week, and this "bakery" can't even be arsed to stock baked goods on the shelves. Even the signature 85° tart was missing. To boot, they ruined my coffee order. Ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee, got some sea salt abomination that was undrinkable. The recipe for vietnamese iced coffee hasn't changed since the 19th century. How could one possibly confuse it for savory Gen-Z crap? The vibe of location has always been off, but it doesn't even seem like they're making an effort anymore. Pleasantly surprised after my first time coming here. The service was great, I liked being able to explore their baked goods options before heading straight to the counter. Ordered on the app for pickup for the buy any milk tea, get a cake slice for $1 deal that is being offered this month. When I got there it wasn't busy, but the workers didn't notice that I was standing in the pickup area for a few mins so I had to walk further down towards where they were standing and talking. They handed me the drink however I had to ask about the cake slice, which they then had to go find where it was. It turned out that the coffee brûlee cake slice that I had originally ordered on the app was not available upon pickup. Thankfully the young lady assisting me let me choose another cake slice and was helpful/friendly when I had asked for recommendations on which cake slice to get (usually I only get the coffee brûlée one since that's the one my mom prefers). I've visited here multiple times since this is the nearest 85° to me. Parking: They're located in a large yet busy plaza, so finding a spot can be a hit or miss. Ambiance/Environment: This is a large location. There's a good amount of indoor seating. It's very clean and organized. Service: Workers can improve on efficiency and problem solving. There are times when it is slow then they'd have a sudden rush. The few times I've visited, a line starts to form as there is usually one cashier. I noticed there are other workers doing important tasks, but customers should come first (professional opinion from currently being in customer service). Other than that, the workers I've encountered are nice. Pastries, cakes, drinks: I love their pastries. They have sweet and savory pastries. Perfect size for a snack or a light breakfast. On occasions, I'd get the Red Velvet or Classic Tiramisu cake. I appreciate that their cakes aren't too dry or overly sweet. Their milk teas are pretty basic. I prefer their coffee series. Their Vietnamese Coffee is sweet yet strong. Pricing: Prices are fair, especially for its sizes. In terms of the pricing for the pastry's, they're cheaper compared to other major pastry shops. I have mixed feelings about 85 Bakery Cafe in Anaheim. This location is an expansion (of Fullerton) which had caused that location to close. This (renovated) location is so two times bigger and certainly brighter than its predecessor. It's located same center as Jollibee wedged between Daiso (which closed Jan 12 2025) and 99 Ranch Market. There's ample parking so try to avoid parking in front or by 99 Ranch which always cause some congestion. The pastries selection and drink menu is consistent. I'm a fan of the Taro Marble, Cranberry Bread and sea salt coffee. The lead cashier and the staff is much more friendly in this location compared to Orange and Irvine locations. read more

The pastries here are great - well stocked with lots of variety. Drinks are great too and there's a self-order kiosk in case you don't want to wait in the main line. Employees are nice and helpful in showing how to use the app. The only improvement I would say is that the tables and chairs are upfront dirty and sticky. Growing up in SGV meant growing up around an abundance of 85°C bakeries. My family and I were in the area and they were craving buns and pastries they knew were consistently good: 85°. The quality of the breads are pretty consistent with other locations; yummy and cheap. The drinks here, though, were significantly sweeter than any other location I've been to. I got the jasmine green tea with sea salt cream and the ratio of cream to tea was about 40:60 vs. 10:90 at other places. There was also lots of tables and it was a quiet enough space to chat, but there was so much trash around their seating area. The tables and chairs were sticky, stained, and covered in trash. The trash cans were also full. Overall, 85°C is still a good bakery, but I recommend visiting a different location. read more

I stopped by around 8:30 am, just 30 minutes after they opened. It had been a while since I last visited 85°C Bakery, but I remembered you need to come early if you want your favorites. The premium milk bun has always been my go-to, and luckily, they had some! I grabbed a few for my family and myself. Of course, I couldn't resist filling an entire box with pastries -- and even needed a separate bag for the rest. The cashier was so thoughtful; she mentioned she didn't want to squish my pastries in the box, so she put some in a separate bag. That small gesture showed how attentive and caring she was. I also ordered the iced sea salt matcha latte, which came with "SWEETEN YOUR LIFE" printed on the cup -- and wow, they meant it! Creamy, delicious, and definitely sweet. Since I love sweet drinks, it was perfect for me (10/10), but if you don't have a sweet tooth, this one might not be for you. My family and I enjoyed everything we got. From what I remember, we picked up ube bread, cheese hot dog, premium milk buns, a chocolate croissant, and a garlic twist -- all delicious. Overall, no complaints at all. I like 85 degrees and this particular location is great. Friendship service and good food at a reasonable price. But lately I must say, I'm a bit disappointment. Price of cakes increased about $5 each at least and worse, the size of the cake has gotten much smaller or thinner. I don't fully blame them as prices are up everywhere, but for god's sake I would rather pay a couple dollars more for a yummy looking full size cake than a pathetic thin looking thing. Also they have 2 separate registers - one where you place and pick up drinks orders, and another for purchasing your bakery items. I think this is smart and very efficient so that the lines aren't super long and clogged if you're waiting for just a drink or vice verse. Not my favorite location just cause of parking, but they have the goods. Visited this location to pick-up a piece of tiramisu cake for a friend's birthday. I pre-ordered via the app and picked it up and it was ready. They are located on the north side of the 5 freeway and Euclid exit in the same shopping center as 99 Ranch Market and Cancun Juice. I frequent the 85 Degrees locations in Irvine, so when I heard there was one coming to Anaheim near my work, I had to go for the grand opening. It's in a shopping plaza with 99 ranch and Jollibee. There's plenty of parking. This is the first one that I've been to that has tables and is set up more like a cafe. If you've never been to an 85, it's a Taiwanese bakery that makes a variety of sweet and savory bread as well as cakes and beverages. Most of the breads are $2-3. They have a wider selection of fresh bread here than the Irvine locations, but the cake display case is smaller. They also have a section for sandwiches which is unique to this location. I got a few items that were new to me like Ube Bread and French Garlic Cheese. I also had to try a sandwich and went with Pesto Chicken ($5). It wasn't bad, just a little greasy and messy. All of the sandwiches are refrigerated but they can warm them up for you. The grand opening was well organized and the workers kept the lines moving. As busy as they were, everyone was still nice. I'll definitely come back to try more of their sandwiches when I need a quick lunch. read more

This is the only 85 bakery location that serve sandwiches and soup. The sandwiches are served in the cold section, in the place you can find cream puff and the like. You need to pick up and pay, then you can ask them to heat up. We hear the ham n cheese is the most popular one, always sold out at the end of the day. Tuna is pretty good, not fishy at all. Chicken pesto has good flavor, but pretty greasy and messy. Our favorite is probably the turkey one. Overall sandwiches are pretty good. They're 5 bucks each and will fill you up. Soup is in the back, so you need to order first. We got both the mushroom cream and corn chowder, less than 4 bucks each. They're not bad, very thin so you can drink them, don't even need spoon. We don't love the breadsticks- they look like the end pieces of toast, flavored a bit, and toasted to crunchy. It would probably be better if they're in pieces like croutons or shaped a bit better so we don't know what they used to be in the previous life. But hey, it's 25 cents. They still have the typical bread and cakes. Our go-to drinks are always seasalt jasmine green tea with lychee jelly and iced americano, solid as always. It is located n the 99 ranch plaza, replacing the old seafood restaurant. So they have a big space. Lots of tables and chairs inside. Right now they're still in soft opening mode, so close at 4pm.
