I was so excited to have a location open so close to me and hadn't had a chance to visit. It was one of my team members birthday and I decided to take a cake from here since I love them and they are reasonably priced for the size and quality. I wanted to buy the red velvet one or the mango mousse since those tend to be liked by most people. They have plenty of parking available at the front which is great. Once you enter, to the left you have what seems to be a coffee shop area that I don't think I had seen at other locations. You have your regular area with the trays to serve yourself what you want and the refrigerated section. It seems like you order your coffee in the regular line they just serve it on the other side. When it came to whole cakes, they had a very limited selection which was disappointing since I came in the morning around 9am. I was determined to leave with a cake so I chose one from the selection. I ended up choosing the mocha cake. I had never tried it and wasn't sure how it was going to be. Unsurprisingly, it was a hit with everyone liking it! It had a really good espresso flavor to it that balanced really well with the hint of chocolate and vanilla cake. The fruit at the top was very fresh and tasty. Overall I ended with a great cake for my team, but had to settle due to the limited availability.

I've visited this 85°C Bakery twice now and have been impressed with the service both times. I was helped by the same gentleman at the front on each visit, and he was consistently friendly and welcoming. On the most recent visit, I stopped in just a few minutes after opening. The bakery was about half stocked, with pastries still being prepared and packaged in the kitchen. We asked about a couple of items that weren't out yet, and the gentleman kindly went to the back to grab them for us. I do wish all items were available right at opening, as there was one pastry we were hoping for that wouldn't be ready for another 1-2 hours. Overall, a great location with plenty of parking in the Brea Union plaza. Both the pastries and drinks are very reasonably priced.

Yippee- 85 Degree Bakery arrived at Brea!

85°C Bakery Café in Brea (missed the closed Fullerton location)!! Giddy with joy! I've been twice now--once during the soft opening the week before Christmas, and again this week for the official opening with giveaways. I got a cute bag - yippee!!! The first visits was disappointing since it was very limited items and tonight was some crowded (expected for a new location), but the experience was solid overall. On grand opening day, bakery had a great selection, everything looked fresh, and the staff handled the crowds well. My only real complaint is the layout: the kiosk and drink pickup area is right by the entrance, which causes a bottleneck. With people waiting for drinks and others trying to enter or exit, it gets pretty crowded and chaotic near the door. Other than that, I'm excited this location is here and will definitely be back!! :)

Review 6/365 Day Review I've came here numerous of times since my 1st visit but did make it on Grand Opening weekend Friday 1.09 afternoon & last day of Grand Opening celebration in the morning Sunday 1.11.26 I thought they were opening again @ 9 a.m. and wanted to try to aim for the Free drinks for the 1st 100 guests on Sunday. Arrived here at 8:12 a.m. to see barely a line out the door and there was already guest inside. Parked and realized that Saturday & Sunday they open at 8 a.m. Mee, my daughter and my hubby were starting at # 60 so we made the cut. I love the idea they gave us # stickers to identify what # guest we were for the 1st 100 to receive drink vouchers for next time visit. Associates were really friendly during the rush hour of opening and managed the busy hustle. Lines were moving quickly and the bakery cafe was in good shape, nicely stoked and presentably clean. This time the baked bread & majority all of the goods were fully stocked. We got our drinks in a timely manner. A new item i got this time to try. ~ Taro RoLL was ok, a friend of mine got it and recommended it. I felt it was a tad bit sweet along the taro filling was more like a paste. Too thick for my liking but then again, their taro items are like that. Much on the thicker side. ~ sea salt coffee in hot is good. It is on the sweeter side so I'd suggest asking for half sweeten. ~ Passion Fruit Green tea is good. Asked for 50% sweetness but it's still pretty sweet. ~ Tiger boba latte is good but a bit overly sweet. If you love really sweet drinks. The boba was a bit hard not soft at all. Disappointing indeed. Their pastry/bread are all usually yummy. Can't go wrong a long w the prices and their drinks too! It's really good. The bakery had a simple design like how all of the 85 degrees bakery were. We received a reusable tote with any purchase along a cute 85 degrees California design mug w a $ 25 + purchase. From opening to noon they had a chance to win giveaways w the proof of purchase/receipt. We got a bucket hat, backpack and reusable metal straw merchandise. Really love this new Addition to my neighboring city, Brea. TIP~ download the app to receive their monthly promo deals along earn points to redeem for freebie rewards.

A new 85 location, but now in Brea. They seem to still be learning the ropes since it's a new store, but at my recent visit, it was pretty much standard counter service. This location is much smaller compared to their earlier shops. Think they're opening smaller stores now to fill in the 85 gaps. But hey, an 85 in Brea is something to celebrate about! They had very limited selection of pastries and had to substitute them for whatever they had. They didn't have much of the savory breads, like the ham and cheese, so definitely missed out. Hopefully, they'll add more baked items at this shop. I ordered their BOGO drinks and got their Vietnamese Coffee. It was pretty good and was strong. Just the way I like it. Their cashier person was super bubbly and friendly. He was probably the life of the shop that day to be honest. The drinks station young lady was on her own, but was cranking out all the drink orders and was also friendly. In all, it was a good first visit. Will come back next time!

ambiance: it looked really nice in there! probably the nicest looking 85 I've been. went around 4pm and they were sold out of the hot dog and the egg tarts. I feel like that's a staple item to have. selection wasn't the largest. however I did get the brioche bun and that was very tasty, light sweet taste service: standard. nothing special

    Vietnamese coffee.
    CA39th ..

I have to say...they were a little stingy, with the coffee this morning, especially when it was empty. Added a whole bunch of ice and a whole lot of air. Sadly I ran out of beans yesterday, and sadly I'm about to run out of this watery coffee in about 5 -10 minutes.

The location is the perfect spot with plenty of parking. However, this is one of the smaller 85s I've seen. There's no indoor seating and the drink pickup is right by the entrance/checkout line. Workers were friendly and the service was quick. I happened to go on the Saturday of their grand opening and even tho there were lots of customers they were restocking the pastries quickly. I'll def stop by if I'm in the area and don't want to go to the Buena Park location

nice little place to pick up some bread or drinks while you wait, if you're going to SUP. My brother and I were waiting, and wanted some coffee. 85 actually have some decent viet coffee and I would get it again if i was needing a pick me upper.

Starting 1/1/26 no plastic bags. Any container will cost money.

Finally we get our own 85 degrees bakery in Brea, when their own HQ is located in Brea the whole time. This location is relatively small compare to other spots. So when the other reviewer mentioned seating area was 5 spots, that's exactly what it is. I would describe this place as 85 Degrees Mini/express, but they do offer most of the bread items. At least 15+ different types to select. There are two stations for ordering drinks specifically on huge digital screens, that way you don't need to wait in the standard line with bakery item purchases. Bathroom requires a code... first time seeing that in the city of Brea. I usually think of Brea not requiring that level of security. Lastly, the bag rule is in effect. When they ask if you want it in the bag or box, there is a very small fee involved. I put the blame on the state for this goofy law and not on the bakery itself. I miss the "Fresh Bread!" Greetings from before when 85 degrees started opening their locations, hope they bring this back. This is a good alternative to other local bakeries, which have more of the traditional Taiwanese style breads vs French style or Spanish styles. Will return when the official grand opening happens!

Love that there is an 85 closer to me! Parking is easy in the big lot. The bakery is clean and the staff was friendly. The only thing is that the space itself is fairly small, which makes it hard to do things like standing/waiting for your drink without getting in someone else's way (near the entrance). Got the sea salt iced coffee and it always hits the spot :) a good selection of breads that I will have to get next time!

    Mahmut E.

This is kind of smaller shop than usual 85°. Service was a little bit slow, but it was a very rainy day. But food is good as usual, and I got milk tea which was nice. There's plenty of parking at the shopping center. It looks very clean. Did not see a seating area

I got so many pastries. There were no misses. My favorite of the bunch was the blueberry cake. The cake wasn't too sweet, was moist, fluffy, and tasty. I enjoyed the matcha cheesecake, garlic sea salt bread, and raspberry cruffin as well. I also grabbed an egg bacon bread and regular sea salt bread to-go for future breakfasts. Warmed up, these were great in the morning! To drink I had the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte which was not too sweet and yummy! Good matcha flavor and the banana pudding was creamy. Mixed together, it was good. I also enjoyed the crunchy bits in there as well as the real banana slices. I got it at the small size, but the portion was generous. It went well with the pastries. There's some inside seating and tables as well as a bathroom available. There is lots of free parking around the bakery. I went in the afternoon on a Sunday and it was still packed! I love how the bakers were constantly baking even in the afternoon, so they brought out fresh batches of their pastries. Overall, a great bakery and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the Fullerton area.

The chocolate ganache cake was not really my cup of tea, but I think that's my own personal preference. It was bitter, which I know ganache can be sometimes. I do want to try their pastries, but was disappointed with the few items I got sadly.

The bakery is bright, clean, and well-organized, with plenty of pastries beautifully displayed. It has a cozy café feel that's great for catching up with a friend or taking a small break during the day. The staff was friendly and efficient, and even though there was a steady flow of customers, the line moved quickly. This visit, I tried the seasonal S'mores Frappe, and it honestly surprised me. I expected it to be overly sweet, but it was much more balanced than I anticipated. I actually ended up liking it more than Starbucks' version because you could still taste the chocolate and graham cracker flavors without it feeling like a sugar overload. I also picked up a few pastries. The S'mores Pastry was my favorite--it had great chocolate flavor, and the little dollop of toasted marshmallow on top was such a fun finishing touch that tied everything together. The only surprise was the Croissant Donut. It has a tangy lemon filling, but that wasn't mentioned in the name, so it definitely caught me off guard. If you're expecting a classic cream or custard filling, just know there's a citrus twist inside. It's not bad by any means, but I wish it had been labeled more clearly so I knew what to expect. Overall, Paris Baguette continues to be one of my favorite bakery chains when I'm craving pastries and specialty drinks. Between the welcoming atmosphere, friendly service, and seasonal menu, it's always worth stopping in to see what's new.

The service is good, they get the drinks out fast. The menu has unique specialty options aswell. There is a good amount of seating and it's a very welcoming shop. Cons: -The sizing is very small for the price. A plain vanilla latte is $6.40 which is a bit steep. However, I understand that most cafes are pretty pricey now a day. (With that being said this is one of the only places i'd spend my money on.) -I have tried some of their specialty lattes and they are extremely sweet(I would recommend getting less sweet if youre more of a espresso person) -Parking is pretty terrible apart from early mornings Overall: The pros overlook the cons for me and I love this coffee shop! A 10 out of 5. Layla and Billy were our star butlers for the afternoon. Layla suggested a peppermint tea for the children, for example. (Ages 10 and 11) And now about the tea. Each chose their special drink from about 50 types of tea, including herbal and chai. Served in antique looking ceramic tea pots, each a different one! My choice was Strawberry Shortcake tea, a gentile berry taste. There were pink heart shape sugar cubes in tiny bowls with tiny gold ones to serve one lump or too. Honey and sweetener are available too. Everyone had their table set with individual china cups and matching saucer, plus treats plate. Gold serviceware wrapped in pink napkins. Flowers on the wall and at the tables. This is the best party I've ever had! Now about the food. Excellent. Elegantly presented on three-tiered china plate serving trays. Delicious tea sandwiches - cut in dainty triangles - and my favorite - cucumber sandwich! Don't forget about the delectable traditional tea sweets, pretty and perfectly prepared. Miniature cookies, scones, plus bites of cheesecake, blueberry crumble, brownie, and more. There is pink cream cheese , preserves, and "clotted' cream too. Party all inclusive packages are about $45 per person - BUT- there are individual items too, reasonably priced for an afternoon with a friend. I've been to other tea houses but this takes the birthday cake! A dream come true. Thank you!
