Visited again and updating my rating. Its. 5/5 star here. Love the variety of pastries and my drink is delicious. The customer service was excellent and the ambiance was calm and family friendly as well.

Ordered a Tiramisu cake for mother's day which is my moms favorite flavor. It was my first time ordering from Tous Les Jours. Ordered online which was easy and convenient. Went to pick up my cake and staff was absolutely wonderful and friendly. They added a Happy Mother's day cake topper. The cake presentation was beautiful and the taste was even better! Tiramisu is not my favorite flavor but i absolutely loved it! I will certainly be ordering from them again! Thank you!

Don't trust Mark to take your cake order! He won't put it in

I ordered a cake in advanced. When I got there to pick up my cake, they didn't have my order. They gave me a display cake that was old. Then they told me that it wasn't old, it comes to their store frozen!!!! I knew I should have gone elsewhere to get my cake. I went into the store to order a cake for Friday pick up. The gentleman who took my order, Mark, didn't even know that he had to write in invoice order for my cake. I had to tell him how to and to make sure that I received a paid invite. I went in on Friday to pick up my cake and they couldn't find my order since Mark never put it in. So they gave me an old frozen cake. I thought was freshly made everyday but they told me it was frozen! Bad service and equally bad frozen bakery items!

Stopped by today to grab a quick bite before work, and as usual it was a great experience. Today I had the chocolate croissant with almonds. It was the perfect combination of sweet and flaky. Service here is impeccable. It was also very quick. I was in a bit of a hurry and I was able to get in and out very quickly despite having a couple of people ahead of me.

    Nice packaging for their donuts.

First time in this shop or any Tous Les Jours. I really thought it was a full-on French bakery, like the ones in France, but it's a Korean-French bakery. So a bit of a mix of the two. Still was fairly impressive with their selection of pastries. I was most intrigued with their creme donuts and ended up getting the Lemon Creme Donut and it was very good. Donut itself was $3.95. Their pastries ran about $3-$6 a piece. I like the pastries, but that's a lot for per piece of pastry. Maybe not a regular stop bakery, but a stop on a weekend or special celebration to get some good-tasting pastries. This location is behind the Birch Street shopping plaza, so there's other shops in the same plaza. I got a 30-minute spot in front of the bakery, but parking can be tight here depending when you stop-in.

My friends and I decided to go a little crazy and split a ton of pastries amongst ourselves one Monday night. We walked in around 7:00ish or so and there was still quite a variety of pastries. We got a bunch of sweet and savory options, as well as some macarons up front. The macarons were definitely a highlight--the earl grey one was DELICIOUS! I also enjoyed the regular butter croissant and the egg bites. I definitely want to go back one day to try more of the sweeter options. The staff was kind and efficient as well, but you're mainly doing everything yourselves.

It's a beautiful cafe with a wide variety of delicious Asian pastries and desserts! Shout out to Doyun for being a very kind and helpful worker here. I got the spinach feta pastry and it was so good! Everything here is so fresh and delicious.

I've been to the Cerritos location before and was happy to learn of the newer one in Brea. This location is very beautiful and clean. There were tons of great looking pastries. Everything my family tried was good. The service was excellent. They answered all my questions about the food options as well as the location details. This is a great place for coffee drinks, cakes, and desserts. I look forward to going back and trying new things.

We love it!!! The seating area is best, the WiFi too and for sure the cakes and pastries! Hubby really likes the pastry and for sure no complaints from a picky eater like him and my kids said the cakes is not too sweet, with good fruit taste and they finish it fast! The staffs are quite attentive and remind me to do the app so we can order ahead and also get rewards! This place is so chill and smells good.

For all the bread lovers!!! 7 goodies for $20!! From 10-11am and 4-5pm from 7/28-8/10!!!

Ever since going to their yelp elite event, I've been loving this bakery! I love the clean and bright ambiance here. Always playing nice relaxing music. The staff is also very friendly and willing to answer questions. My favorite breads here are the salt and Butter roll and the frank pastries! Their drinks are also really good. I loved their Matcha Lavender-ade! Right now they are doing a promotjon from 7/28-8/10, buy 7 baked goods for $20 from 10am-11am and 4pm-5pm. Which is a pretty good deal! :)

Prices are relatively good. Ambiance decor seating great! Taste texture dry and cold. Some of the pastries taste like each other. Espresso drinks no appeal.Restroom needs to be cleaner and touchless. Would only go for social reasons. Staff is great. Paris baguette and bag of cakes taste better. Perhaps 85 degrees also better tasting. Worth to visit though and take in the experience if you are nearby.

This location of the French/Asian bakery is located in a large plaza in downtown Brea. They have a large case of gorgeous cakes and macarons at the counter to choose from. One can also grab some tongs and a tray and pick what you like from a large assortment of pastries in cases near the entryway and present them at the register. I went the "tong" route and chose an egg tart and also a mutant hybrid called a "crookie" - part croissant and part chocolate chip cookie. I also purchased a hot vanilla latte. The folks at the register were full of smiles and friendliness. The interior of the place is comfortable and inviting with a huge semi-circular cushy seating area along with many tables. It was early evening and not too busy so I decided to sit and enjoy my pastries and latte (but by the time I left the place became packed!). The egg tart was fantastic with a perfectly made crust and a filling that was quite flavorful. The crookie was weird and wonderful. It looked like a croissant sandwiched between the cookie. The croissant was crisp but not fluffy, better matching the texture of the cookie, which wasn't too sweet and had a balanced amount of chocolate chips. With my first bite I wasn't sure if I was going to like it but by the time I finished I wanted another (but restrained myself). The vanilla latte was served at an immediate drinking temperature and had a vivid vanilla flavor; perfectly made. This is a great spot to buy some pastries to take home or to just sit, relax, and enjoy in the shop.

It's cute, clean, and bright in here. Decent selection even close to 8pm on a weekday. A good mix of sweet and savory. Grew up going to 85° so I'm familiar with the format. Just tried a garlic bread and some sort of sweetened bread with like a marmalade inside, and they were both pretty good. Employees who rang me up were polite and greeted me when I came to the register. Parking in this center is tough so good luck!

The Bottom Line Up Front: In a world filled with…read morecorporations masquerading as sophisticated boutiques, Philz is a growing chain that still retains a cozy atmosphere while serving up great coffee. I've been to other Philz, but this review will focus on this Brea location. The Drink: I got the seasonal salted caramel cold brew and it was delicious. Picture Starbucks' caramel macchiato but less sweet and with less acidic espresso. This Philz drink was smooth and creamy, with enough caffeine kick to keep me powered throughout the day. The Service: Our barista was very knowledgeable and offered a few suggestions and a couple of samples so that I could make the right selection. Grade A service! The Setting: Located in the new section of Brea Mall, this Philz location is a freestanding building so you have to walk outside of the mall to access it from the southwest side. There's no street parking, so you'll need to park in the large parking structure across from Nordstrom (currently...but they are doing more construction so this could change in the future). The Conclusion: As part of a franchise that doesn't act like one, the Brea location of Philz offers great coffee with excellent customer service.

Rating: 5/5 Stars…read more Overview Easily my favorite small coffee shop in the Brea area. Whether you need a strong cup of coffee to start the day or a perfectly made matcha, this spot absolutely delivers on both drink quality and an exceptional community feel. The Good The coffee here is strong but not too acidic, making it perfect for any day of the week. Their matcha is also fantastic; the bitterness is completely whisked out, and the full flavor is there whether you get pure leaf or a mixed drink (even if they don't make the microfoam right in front of you, or maybe I just never noticed!). The absolute best part, though, is their top-tier customer service. The Bad Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about this place! If I had to nitpick, I guess I haven't noticed them making the matcha microfoam right in front of me, but considering how perfect the drinks come out, it doesn't even matter. Personal Thoughts/Experience My wife goes all the time, usually picking it up after her morning workout, but I only drop in once in a blue moon. However, the one time I went in alone and completely blanked on my wife's drink, the staff knew exactly who I was and actually noticed when I made a mistake on her usual order. They fixed it for me and literally saved me an argument when I got home whoops. You just can't beat that kind of personalized, lifesaver service!

I'm a matcha lover, and this one tasted more like the kind you'd find at Costco rather than ceremonial grade. I also noticed they keep it in a large tub. The color was light, and it was very sweet, almost like the powder already had sugar added. The drinks barely tasted like strawberry and we were disappointed. I immediately regretted upgrading my size to 20oz too.
