I was in the area looking for a peaceful place to grabe a bite and coffee while reading my book I loved people's reviews about the quality of the food / coffee and the sweet family that owns the cafe I came on a Tuesday morning and was served right away. Lox bagels are usually my go to - this one was great, containing capers, red onions, and cucumbers too on a fresh everything bagel My chai latte was refreshing and they added some cinnamon on top [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was definitely a peaceful place to be and I felt the warm vibes right when I entered[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This is a cute mom and daughter shop! The Carmel Latte and sausage breakfast burrito was delicious! The burrito was panini pressed and cooked perfectly. But the service was even better, the daughter was so friendly, helpful, and made you feel welcomed as soon as you walked in! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience was great :)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Carmel Cafe is a little cafe nestled in an industrial part of Placentia. My friend and I needed a quick lunch so we settled on this tiny little gem. The cafe itself feels very homey and they're also Asian-American owned! The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and their menu is affordable as well as delicious. It's great for a quick lunch or breakfast; I settled on a breakfast sandwich and I thoroughly enjoyed it! The bean sprouts were a nice addition as well as their house dressing. I recommend coming here if you're ever in the area or if you're a CSUF student looking for a quick lunch! :)

The first time I tried this place was maybe two years ago and I've been twice within the past two weeks and I plan on becoming a regular! Yes, it's that good! Here's what I have tried: **Breakfast Sandwich: You can get this with either bacon, pork sausage, or turkey sausage so I went with pork sausage. They also offer three types of bread so I went with wheat. You can either have it as is or toasted so I got it toasted. Everything was delicious and it was packed with toppings. Delicious! (5/5) **Breakfast Burrito: You can get this with either bacon, pork sausage, or turkey sausage so I went with pork sausage. Easily one of the best breakfast burritos you'll ever have at a small mom and pop shop like this. The house-made salsa is also very delicious. (5/5) **Breakfast Panini: You can get this with either bacon or sausage so I went with sausage. It's cooked perfectly and every topping is so fresh and delicious. By far my favorite item on the menu! (5/5) **Passionfruit Jasmine & Pomegranate Green Iced Tea: The tea base is really good here. It's not too bitter and at the same time, you can taste the quality of the tea. I like my teas unsweetened and you can definitely taste the flavors. I hope to try all the flavors eventually. (5/5) **Hazelnut Latte: I got this as a hot beverage and less sweet. No complaints at all, just some good quality coffee. (5/5) I've been here four times now and everyone that works here is so friendly and has a great attitude. If you dine-in, they'll stop by often to make sure everything is good. If you're taking out, they make sure to keep you company with awesome vibes. I love love LOVE this place. It's a very clean little restaurant and the ambiance is very nice. Prices are very fair but if you have a large appetite like me, I would probably order some extra items on the side. I highly recommend this place. It won't disappoint. Enjoy!

The cutest little cafe shop . It gives me warm cozy vibes, and the staff are truly the sweetest. They are so tentative and caring to each individual who walks in. I had the lox bagel with a side of hash browns, and a sugar free hazelnut latte. I truly enjoyed the lox bagel! The only downside is that their don't have wifi but I still feel like you can get decent work done here since it's not too loud.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a very quiet place to enjoy good fresh coffee that is family run.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The people are beyond freindly! The bagel was so fresh and the ice tea so good. They have lunch besides breakfasts.

Cute and Tasty! Great service! Quick and Easy! My mom and I shared the breakfast sandwich and a side of scrambled eggs. The breakfast sandwich was savory and oh-so-satisfying! My iced almond milk vanilla latte was one of the best I've ever had! Not too sweet and not bitter at all. Smooth and silky with just the right amount of vanilla. Definitely will be back when we are in the area.

Today, my husband and I randomly came across Carmel café to have breakfast together before work and we were surprised on how many good reviews it had but so unheard of. After driving up to the parking lot in front of their café, we realize what a small, cute establishment it is and when we got inside and we see that it's a small family business, and that makes us even more excited to order and eat at a business like this, that we can help support in the community. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and my husband ordered the breakfast burrito with a spinach wrap and what's nice is that more and more places are starting to have alternative bacon or sausage options for us non-pork eaters so they had a turkey sausage that they can put into the sandwich and burrito and it was a great touch. They have a pretty extensive menu of breakfast items and lunch items with an array of coffee, tea drinks, as well as fresh pastries, and other yummy desserts that they make in house. I definitely want to go back just for a desert run. The food was actually really delicious and tasted fresh and the hot chocolate I got and the latte my husband got was definitely giving us our morning vibes. We would definitely go back and continue supporting small family businesses like this as well as tell others about it. Can't wait to go back to try lunch items too!

Best of all, this is a very rare place that will give you a lot of extra powdered sugar. The vast majority of restaurants, mistakenly believing maple syrup and butter are the only acceptable french toast condiments, either don't even carry it or won't provide more than the lightest dusting. You can get all the powdered sugar you want here! My favorite item at Toast is the churro french toast. It comes with a sweet butter cream on the side, sliced strawberries, and mini churros on top! It comes with your of eggs (scrambled for me), bacon + sausage, side salad topped with cherry tomatoes, toast, and lots of country fried potatoes. The eggs are Asian scrambled eggs - the kind you might get at a hotel in Asia. They're folded over and super fluffy. I like that you get both proteins though the sausages are maple flavored. The side salad is actually a nice surprise. We also ordered a California omelette ($19.20) which is comes with cherry tomatoes, avocado, spinach, mushrooms with pesto and a side of toast. We also added some ham for added protein. It's interesting in flavor - I've never had a pesto omelette before.i guess with all the veggies and pesto flavoring, it's very California-y in that way. It's easy here - order at the counter and seat yourself. The patio is spacious with plenty of shade. Service is super friendly and attentive. Oh, and they also play good music here. Will be back.
