Absolutely amazing! We loved our meal here, and we had 2 small kids with us too. We ordered the grilled octopus for an appetizer which was the best grilled octopus I've ever had. Our 5 year old was obsessed with it. The chef brought us out a little tasting plate for each of us which was so fun as well. The espresso martinis are amazing. We had grilled fish, seafood and pasta for dinner and everything was wonderful. The waiters were all so attentive and kind and gave recommendations for other things in the area as well. Such a hidden gem (air airbnb was above it actually) and so glad we ate here!!!!

Highly recommend coming here for dinner! We honestly walked by and thought it was a beautiful spot whether inside the restaurant or in the garden. When we saw the reviews we grabbed a reservation and I have no regrets. Ambiance is great, service was great, food was great. We started with the octopus which was beautiful presented and just perfectly basic enough that this was a wonderful combination of roast tomatoes and salt from the olives and capers. Next we split the anchovy garlic pasta which was so delicious (I had my doubts initially) and some sort of white fish over truffle mashed potatoes and smoked. Every flavor of this dish was 10/10 and clearly presentation is outstanding. I would have gone back again if we had the time! In my recommendation list as a must visit if in Sorrento.

Delicious restaurant away from the busier Main Street. Service was warm and friendly. The food was great. Definitely worth a stop when in Sorrento.

We were lucky enough to have this restaurant right down the block from our Airbnb and it was fantastic! Every night as we walked by it was crowded (not a huge establishment) and guests looked happy. We had Beef Carpaccio to start and it was delicious. For our meal we shared the wagyu steak and it was to die for! The staff here were some of the friendliest I found in all of Sorrento. Highly recommend stopping here to eat!

One of the best meals we had in Sorrento! We had the pork tenderloin and the spaghetti with cauliflower and both dishes were outstanding! We got complimentary wine and appetizer and the service was great.

Amazing food and a great atmosphere. Great price for the amount of food we got. Charming restaurant and one of our favorite meals of the trip

We wanted seafood because when in Sorrento...why not opt for super fresh seafood right by the coast?! Our server recommended a really delicious local red that was super reasonably priced and we enjoyed with said red: For Primi -- *Gnocchi alla sorrentina (Sorrento-style Gnocchi): I mean...we kinda had to get a regional specialty right? Gnocchi here is potato based instead. It was SO delicious - still perfect texture. They also served this HOT HOT HOT with melty cheese. So delicious and a really generous portion!! *Spaghettoni alle vongole (Pasta with Clams): Another favorite for us in general so figured a really fresh version could be stellar and it didn't disappoint! This slightly edged out the gnocchi for me flavor-wise, but the gnocchi was dang good so it just goes to show how DELISH this was!!! For Secondi -- *Grigliata mista di pesce (mixed grilled fish - this was an incredible plate of such fresh seafood. There was various fish, a giant prawn, octopus alll grilled & seasoned to perfection! *Swordfish special! -- apparently it was swordfish season and it was a 'fresh catch' and I feel like you could tell! Really lovely and nicely seasoned. Portions were very generous & we were way too full for dessert at this point! So you could probably eat more "American" style here (Just 1 entree instead of our approach), but the menu here is pretty stellar!!!

Not only was it a wonderful surprise to end up dining right by the water, but even with a line out front, we somehow got incredibly lucky and were seated on the patio completely by chance. I noticed what looked like the owner (or perhaps the general manager) walking around, checking on guests, and helping with service, which added such a warm, authentic touch. Like many restaurants by the water in Italy, the seafood here is incredibly fresh ~ and this place is no exception. We ordered the seafood platter, grilled vegetables, and ravioli with marinara sauce. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious, right down to the bread. We also enjoyed some Prosecco, which paired perfectly with the meal. The view was stunning, and the whole restaurant buzzed with lively, happy energy. I would definitely return ~ not only because it was surprisingly affordable, but also because restaurants like this, with their true authenticity and old-world charm, are my favorite. One small note: the bathroom is on the second floor, so if you're older or have mobility issues, just keep in mind there's a set of stairs to climb. But that's very common across Western Europe. Fun fact: This beautiful little spot in Marina Grande has some real cinematic history. Sofia Loren and Vittorio De Sica, while in Sorrento filming Dino Risi's famous 1954 movie "Pane, amore e..." (Bread, Love, and...), actually sat at the tables of Trattoria Emilia. How amazing is that?

Apparently every other Airbnb host did the same because there was quite the line waiting to get inside. We waited about 20 minutes and the line moved quickly. Kudos to the staff who were excellent and interacted well with us both while in line an inside while eating. Everyone seemed so happy here. Once seated we ordered drinks and the stuffed zucchini appetizer. The complimentary bread was on target. Very good. One of us had lasagna, another had the fish, another had the Gorgonzola Ravioli and I had the Gorgonzola Gnocchi. I tried all the dishes and they were all yummy. Very well done and tasty. We shared the Lemon Surprise for dessert and it was sublime. So tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant but be prepared to wait in line for seating.

Just fun presentation for one of the most loaded seafood pastas I've ever had. The caprese salad was so fresh and generous, the calamari was light and rich, and the pasta was so perfect. I would recommend everyone come here if you can.

Having visited multiple places in Italy and Sicily the last time, this place stood out as one of the favorite spots on our trip. Of course we had to stop by again, and we were not disappointed. When in Sorrento, lemon pasta is a must, but I have the say that the true star was La Genovese pasta, which was recommended by our server. My husband still liked lemon pasta best, which means you really can't go wrong. Their bread was also delicious, particularly the white bread and the breadsticks, and they give you balsamic vinegar and olive oil for it. Considering most of the bread we had in Italy was surprisingly disappointing, it's exciting to eat somewhere that the food is good from start to finish. They also gave us one scoop of limoncello and one scoop of lemon gelato for dessert. Both were delicious, but my favorite was the lemon gelato. This is our second time back, and we would not hesitate to eat here again the next time we're in Sorrento. Servers were also friendly and helpful. The food does take a while, but that goes to show that it all is freshly made. This place is great whether it's for a casual dining experience or for date night. They also have free WiFi, just ask them for the info. I love that it's also a family establishment, and family members work at the restaurant. I'm already looking forward to my next visit here.
