The biggest issue was their attempt to charge my young children adult prices simply because they are tall. When we questioned this, instead of calmly explaining their policy, the staff wanted to argue with us and insisted that because the children were tall, they should be charged as adults. Since when does a child become an adult because of their height? If Grand Buffet has an age or height policy, it should be clearly posted and consistently explained--not turned into an argument with a family trying to enjoy a meal. What should have been a simple family dinner became an uncomfortable and frustrating experience because of the way we were treated. Customer service matters, and unfortunately, we experienced very little of it. I have never had a restaurant make my family feel so unwelcome over something that should have been handled professionally and respectfully. There are plenty of other restaurants where families can spend their money and actually be treated with courtesy. Grand Buffet seriously needs to rethink the way it treats its customers.
