Bbq pork. Super dry and tough unfortunately.
Daniel A.

Super cute old school Chinese restaurant. Everyone was very friendly. We just ordered takeout out. We loved almost everything, especially the potstickers! And they were big! Only thing we didn't like was the bbq pork. It was very very dry and tough. We ended not eating it which was disappointing. Can't win them all. We will be back, but wouldn't order the bbq pork again.

Orange Peel Beef

Pretty sure that wasn't beef. Everything was sticky. Rice was under done and I'm pretty sure they used their butcheeks to fold those "crab puffs" All and all, not bad

Chinese chicken salad ... we dipped in a bit before we could snap the photo.

I am so very happy that my son took us to dinner here tonight! We found it by chance headed home from getting gas. This is a family owned place, husband cooking and wife caring for the customers. The service was friendly, fast, and attentive. Our drinks were kept full, empty plates quickly removed, and the place was spotless. We started with wontons and chicken salad. They were both delicious! Fresh and plenty to feed the three of us ... could have easily feed four. We especially liked the chicken on the salad - it was tender and crispy! It could have had more chicken, but the prices are very reasonable compared to other places, so we were very satisfied. For dinner we shared the Mongolian beef, honey walnut shrimp and orange chicken with a large side order of steamed rice. The shrimp were large, crispy, and tossed in just the right amount of sauce. The Mongolian beef was different that any we've had, but very tender and delicious! I recommend you order with no cabbage bed unless you prefer it with the entree. Finally, the orange chicken was crispy and tender. The sauce tasted homemade and very much like orange. This is definitely our new go-to for Chinese! There was a consistent stream of to go pick ups, so clearly it's a popular place.

Tofu and eggplant clay pot, beef broccoli, honey walnut shrimp, spicy salt chicken, BBQ pork chow mein (top to bottom, left to right)

Hong Kong Garden was great especially considering it was Christmas Day! Because they were so busy from it being Christmas, the wait was a little longer than originally expected (we ordered over the phone) but the food was delicious. The tofu and eggplant clay pot had a great sauce and the beef broccoli had a substantial amount of broccoli. The spicy salt chicken (i.e. salt and pepper chicken) was great - they had the spicy jalapeno/chili/fried garlic mix on top! The honey walnut shrimp were great (no shells on the shrimp, since another review had complained about that) and the chow mein portion was huge! Overall, solid food that really hit the spot while we were staying in Columbia. The portions were all really big; everything in the picture lasted 2 adults 2 separate meals, so 4 total meals. We also came back the next day and got a Hong Kong style milk tea. I was just impressed that they actually had bubble tea - it wasn't too sweet and the pearl were very soft (maybe too soft for some). Would definitely recommend if looking for a Chinese restaurant in the area!

Restaurant decor. Awesome wood panel with old ranch symbols.

Amazing garlic and general chicken lunch combo. Very crispy and freshly made. The cook came out to give us our food which was awesome. Very polite and clean environment. Definitely coming back!

Singapore Noodles, Sweet & Sour Imitation Meat, and Kung Pao Veggies. Yum!

We've done both take out as will as dine in and have good experiences both times, although they definitely seem to do a larger volume of takeout orders. The inside dining has not been busy either time we were there, even on a holiday weekend. It could have to do with the fact it's not directly on the mainstreet, but it is a quick drive. The inside space would be good for groups as well and also kids. The menu is a mix of chinese and vietnamese cuisine, with some added outlier beverages like boba tea and smoothies. There are vegetarian appetizers as well as entrees. The prices are reasonable for the portion size. We tried the tofu spring rolls to start, and for our entrees we had the Tofu Pho and Szechuan Vegetables. The spring roles were tasty and came with a delicious peanut sauce. The entrees came out piping hot, and they gave us the standard add ons for Pho and had sriracha, hoisin, soy sauce and chili oil to add as well. The Szechuan vegetables had a good portion and came with white rice. Lots of broccoli, snow peas, zucchini and onions. The staff is very friendly and also funny, definitely one of the things we like about coming here. A great option in Murphys and we'd happily come back in the future.

Eat in and enjoy them hot and crispy! Service was fast and they hustled to bring my wife's vegetable chow mein (4/5) and my massive plate of combination fried rice (5/5). I had enough left over for another full meal. Several beers to choose from, including a Lagunitas IPA. And of course the rooster Sriracha sauce was there for customers to add heat as desired.

I mean this is what we come to Chinese restaurants for! Ooey gooey slurp worthy noodles, delicious chicken, delectable and crunchy veggies. Prices are low atleast when compared to the formidable bayarea prices. They have lunch specials as well which is what we went for. They come with soup, entree, carb: half and half noodles +rice or just noodles/rice. They had a hot and sour soup and I downed almost two bowls of it as the kids refused to have theirs. I enjoyed the bits of tofu in it. For my lunch entree I picked the house special chicken. And man was I in for a treat. It was thinly cut strips of chicken in an addictive sauce with jalapeños in it. I savored every bit of my meal. I sampled my family's string bean chicken and garlic chicken as well. The beans were crisp yet cooked through, just amazing!! The garlic chicken was delicious as well but came with a lot of large zucchini pieces.

I think it's worth it to sign up for the app because overtime is does add up and if you have a family you should consider it.
