I found this place off of Google when searching for places to eat. It's so hard to find Taiwanese cuisine in the suburbs without going to Chicago. Taiwan Cafe in Chicago has the largest selection of Taiwanese food and the food is delicious. Tugo Tea House has really good Taiwanese popcorn chicken but seating is limited. The International Mall in Westmont is missing a lot of signature Taiwanese dishes. That brings me to 9 Ball Taiwan Cafe in Aurora. It's located where the whole Vivi's bubble tea used to be, next to Park to Shop. They have Taiwanese food as well as dim sum available. When you walk inside, there is plenty of seating. The seats are very comfortable. You can order from the kiosk or from the register. We ordered a side of popcorn chicken, fried tofu, and Taiwanese fried chicken cutlet bento. If you follow them on ig or FB, you get free scallion pancakes. The portions are very generous. Both of the fried chickens were very juicy and crispy. The scallion pancakes were soft but firm.. Fried tofu was good, make sure you eat it with the sauce. We didn't get a chance to try any of the drinks but we will next time. Prices were fair. This is the closest Taiwanese spot to me, so I will definitely be back.

Food was delicious and service was good! The taro milk tea was super tasty. The place was clean and had cute decors.

The portion was clearly reduced but the price stayed the same. This place has always been consistent for me so the change was frustrating. I understand costs go up but smaller portions without any notice isn't great. Has anyone else noticed this or was it just a one off? I'm hoping this isn't a new trend because I've otherwise enjoyed ordering from here.

Lucky Panda is one of the many restaurants in strip malls in this part of town. Has a lot of the common items. There's beef and chicken of course, as well as tofu for healthy options. A lot of customers seem to get carryout. It's got a pretty big dining room if you want to eat inside. There's also a gaming section with a few slots. As for the food it's basic. It's about $14 for an entree. Portions are kind of big though. Has some that are spicy. We got the Kung Pao Tofu. Came with quite a few pieces of tofu in it. Too bad these were kind of burnt and tough. Had a good variety of vegetables including carrots and peas. The meal was pretty okay but they didn't understand we were eating in and they made it to go, so we ate it out of the bag at a table. For sure there's many Chinese restaurants that are much better. It's located in the one strip mall on Eola. There's a few options with tofu for vegans and vegetarians.
