The food here is so fresh!! The people are so kind and quick it's an all around great place to come. I had the pad see ewe and it was light but packed with flavor!! What a great Thai/sushi place with amazing customer service. The chicken pad Thai is great. I also had the goyzas fried they were the perfect crisp and the inside tasted great. The red dragon roll with soy paper is my favorite roll here. So let's talk about the customer service they go above and beyond here,super friendly they basically make you feel more then welcomed when you walk through the door. Okay so first time here, let's start with what's good. I really like the staff here. They have great customer service skills. They open the door to greet you and treat you like an honored guest the whole way through. Very attentive without being overly present. They are quick to clear the table of finished plates and watch your drinks to offer refills promptly. They sell without being pushy. The restaurant is clean and well laid out for the space they have. As great as the the staff and layout is, at the end of the day it's the food that matters most. We had only the sushi and found it to be very bland. As sushi lovers we knew right away this was average a best. We had the crispy sashimi, yellow dragon, tuna California and spicy blue crab. The tuna California ended up having the most flavor of the uncooked rolls which was a disappointing surprise. In the end I would like to come back again and try the cooked menu. I would like to try the pad Thai and the lobster ravioli. After all. We should always try something twice. read more

We decided to give this place a try based on my fellow yelpers review. Unfortunately it was disappointing. We were greeted and the restaurant was very welcoming and clean. However here's the huge miss. I ordered soup and the tuna poke as appetizers. We also ordered 3 rolls and a tofu pad Thai for our entrees. After almost 30 mins the sushi rolls came out. By the time we finished the rolls the soup and tuna poke havent arrived. We ended up cancelling the soup and kept the tuna poke since my son really wanted to try it. 10 mins later the pad Thai comes with no authentic taste to it. Missing the tamarind taste. All I can taste was the peanut sauce. For 17 per roll, you expect a good size roll but this was not the case. Sorry we felt this wasn't a good spend. Very good Thai food. Not the very best I've had in the US, but worth a trip. I had excellent lunch with dinners. However, I had Pad Thai for lunch the other day and it was seriously disappointing. Just a flavorless mush. My recommendation is to try 9 Thai Sushi for dinner. Oh, service is excellent. read more

Checked out this super cute sushi spot while in town for a conference. They weren't busy at all when we came in and only had a few ladies working but the service was very fast and the food was amazing. I love Tom Kha soup and theirs was so delicious and creamy. Appropriately spicy as well. The sushi roll I ordered was a great size/quantity for the price and the fish/ingredients were incredibly fresh. Presentation was on point as well. While we weren't rushing it took less than an hour for the entire dining process. They have a great selection of sushi and Thai options on their menu. Sushi and Thai dinners were phenomenal as was the service, but what really made this place stand out for me was the mango with sticky rice desert that was suggested to us by the waiter. I finally decided to try this place for lunch over the weekend as I've passed this spot many times in the past. The inside is not that big, but decorated nicely with an authentic Thai ambience. There is a small sushi bar section and it is family owned and operated. They serve lunch specials only during the week and no refills on tea or soda. I was immediately greeted and was sat right away. To be honest , I was a little put off that they didn't offer refills on drinks, no WiFi and no lunch specials and I'm one who looks for value. With that said, one of the owners came to my table and said hello. She was super sweet and gave me a rundown of the daily specials and her recommendations. I ended up ordering a northern style Thai dish " Khaow Soi " which comes with Panang Curry and your choice of meat (I chose pork) over rice noodles then topped with fried crispy thin wontons, hard boiled egg, broccoli and carrots. I ordered it Thai Hot but you can choose your level of heat from 1-5 star. The dish was amazing with such depth of flavor! This dish has a perfect combination of textures and some of the best Thai food I've had in SWFL. As someone who loves and eats Thai food on a regular basis, I highly recommend this place. The owners are true to their roots and only cooking authentic style Thai food and it shows in the flavor. They only use Holy Basil and not sweet basil that is a key ingredient in Thai cuisine giving a totally different flavor profile than American style Thai food. Some of their specialty items on the menu consists of Crispy Duck Curry, Fried Whole Snapper, Jungle Curry, Pineapple Shrimp Fried Rice, Khaow Soi and Laab. Many of these dishes are not offered at other places as they are difficult to cook and great to see they're offering these traditional dishes. For all of these reasons , this place is now a top favorite local spot and a true hidden gem! read more

Seriously, just GO. Firstly, my husband, who NEVER says anything, let alone compliments restaurant service, could not stop raving about this restaurant, and the impeccable service they provided! They held the door open upon entering, and greeted us like friends they hadn't seen in years. During our entire time at the table, we had several servers come up to our table with app, entrée, and dessert suggestions. We had the spring rolls (3), 2 sushi rolls, fried rice with chicken, khaow soi, and Thai donuts (which our son devoured in 15 seconds). Wow! Every single positive review is on point. My dad and I went and even before we got inside the restaurant it was a positive experience. They greeted us by opening the door, staff was attentive the entire time and so friendly! It was hard to even order because everything sounded so good. BEWARE. I ordered $60 worth of sushi and majority of it tasted sour. I called to let them know, they told me to bring it back. I brought it back and the female owner refused to give me any sort of refund because i ate a piece. Of course I ate a piece and realized it was sour.
