I had a wonderful dinner here tonight. I must say the salad was definitely my favorite, it was the most delicious ginger salad I've ever had. I ordered the small, but it was big! Ordering sushi was a bit of a challenge. Normally at sushi spots, they have photos. It makes it easier to decide which ingredients are on what, and what you want. This particular place has all those ingredients listed on the menu. So you kind of have to go through it with a comb to figure out which you want. And to be honest I don't know a lot of sushi names in the first place, so I had to Google a lot of the ingredients. (Hopefully my photos will help). The rolls are cut on the XL side, so if you have a smaller mouth, you might want to request smaller pieces. The hot JV, and the green dragon roll or delicious. The crab on the volcano roll was a little strange to me, a Little too wet. I didn't like it. Lastly, do not be alarmed about the sign in the front door that says no public restrooms. BEWARE. I ordered $60 worth of sushi and majority of it tasted sour. I called to let them know, they told me to bring it back. I brought it back and the female owner refused to give me any sort of refund because i ate a piece. Of course I ate a piece and realized it was sour. She then told me I was a liar and that there was nothing wrong with it. It was absolutely sour. I was a loyal customer before, but will absolutely never be coming here again. So nice. Great sushi. Down here on vaca and wanted fresh sushi. Brought our kids and the staff was so friendly to them. My hubs spilled a drink and the stand was there immediately to help. They didn't seem to have a lot of customers on the Thursday night when we went. Food was so good so I hope they can stay in biz. Go eat here! read more

this place was very disappointing. We walked in at 7 pm on a Tuesday night and were yet to be greeted by 7:20. when we were greeted we were obviously ready to order. It pains me to write a review on a small family owned operation as I do not want to impact their dream of being a business owner. I went to this place because it had 4 1/2 stars from fellow Yelpers. My experience was as follows. Service = Top notch. ( It should be , we were the only one's there at dinner) Cleanliness = Very clean . ( my standard in dining out) Food quality = Very low. Fried pork seemed old, our dinners smelled of foul fish and it just was not appetizing at all. The soup and Sake were just fine. I usually would give a 1 star rating BUT, I gave it 2 because I don't want to negatively impact their business. If you read through the reviews you will see many complaints about the bad food but three and four stars are still given because it's very clean and they are very polite but this is a restaurant, you go there for food, please rate the food..... which is horrible = 1 star no matter how "nice" they are. Great place! Little hidden gem. The service was great I believe she is the owner. She answered questions and made suggestions. My mother and I split the spicy blue crab roll and it was tasty! I enjoyed the double tuna roll, spicy but really good. My mother also got a pad Thai dish which was really good but forgot the name. It had big noodles! I loved 9 Thai Sushi at their old location so this was my first time with takeout at the new location. The lovely young lady suggested I try the pineapple curry with chicken. Wow! My new favorite dish. I was promptly met inside by the same lovely lady who greeted me with a huge smile and warm greeting. The value for what I paid is incredible. Lots of chicken and enough for tomorrow night. Everything was very fresh. Heat was perfect! Just spicy enough. Dilemma is do I stay with ordering the pineapple curry or try something else?
