From the available options, we chose a Cheese Pizza Slice and a Veggie Pizza Slice. The service was quick, and we got our slices in no time. We started with the cheese pizza slice, which was delicious, perfectly made, and loaded with cheese. Wow! I am so disappointed in this establishment. I used to order the pizza from the Carrollwood location once a week. Then, (I think) someone bought it and changed the recipes. I stopped getting the pizza from the Carrollwood location, but still ordered from the Wesley Chapel location every now and again, because it was much further away from my home. Now, this establishment has pizza that is equally as bad as the Carrollwood location. A completely flat, limp crust that is terrible! It is honestly a poor excuse for pizza. My wife and I were tired of ordering pizzas in the area that weren't good, and said, let's start trying new places, and Best NY Pizza came up. I'm usually not one to pick a place that says they're the best at anything, but I said, let's just try it, and if it's not good, we won't order it again. We don't know what the place looked like inside, as we ordered off a food app, but... the cheese pizza was out of this world! The tomato/marinara sauce was fresh, the cheese was the perfect amount, the crust was flaky, and the actual pizza was light. We finished a large between the two of US over one dinner, plus a bit extra for breakfast the next day (because who doesn't love breakfast pizza?). My only issue was the price, but... it could have been from delivery fees that we ended up paying what we did. A friend had mentioned the place and I dropped in to check them out. They've a large interactive screen for placing orders and chose a large Margherita pizza. I was surprised by the $25.49 price, knowing that it only has few items on it, but almost all the other selections were even more expensive...... In fifteen minutes, my pizza was ready and I headed home with what seemed to be a very light weight box. Opening the box, I found a good looking, ready to eat pizza but disappointingly, the crust was paper thin crust, covered with large, thin sliced tomatoes, a sprinkling of shredded basil and cheese It tasted good, but due to the small quantities of toppings and the extra thin crust, my wife and I were still hungry, along with not having any slices leftover for the next day. When I compare this pizza shop to others in Wesley Chapel, charging close to $30.00 with taxes for a large pizza, is clearly overcharging and is a poor value for the customer. Call me a disappointed customer, who paid a premium price for a me too quality product. I won't be back and will not recommend to anyone else. To the owners: With take out business being so important, and the prices that you demand, I would think that you would've put some effort in providing a take out menu that didn't look like a cheap photocopy. I went in and tried their pizza one day by the slice and it was close to NY pizza since we just moved her from NY. Then today we ordered a large cheese pie and one chicken roll and i was told the large pie only feeds 3 people,not a family. The chicken role was a medium and the price was over $45 to feed 3 people. The garlic knots were good and it even came witg the marinara sauce on the side, many places you have to ask for this. They didn't include the extra Parmesan I paid $6 for, they did not include napkins or silverware for an order of two side salads and a pasta dish, they didn't seal the pasta container so it leaked marinara all over the entire order. Utter incompetence! When I called the manager, he said he would refund the money for the Parmesan, but none of the other issues was their fault because they hired DoorDash to deliver and I should take it up with them. Great pizza! I stayed at the Econo Lodge next door and ordered a large 18" Margarita Pizza. The girls inside were really polite and the pie was ready in about 15 minutes. Service was very fast and seamless. Pizza was slightly better than a frozen pizza from the store. While the crust was good, the cheese was not stringy and melty at all.
