The vent cleaning went okay, but I would caution potential customers from getting the dryer cavity cleaning. The job was not done carefully or thoroughly, leading us to require a separate repair business to come fix our dryer after a sensor was broken and it stopped heating. When that business disassembled the dryer to fix it, they also found that only about half of the dryer cavity had been cleaned. The mechanic explained that vent technicians usually don't do dryer clean-outs, since they are often not experienced mechanics and (as evidenced by our experience) don't always know their way around the dryer mechanisms. We also had some communication issues, but I'm willing to forgive most of that because I understand there were some hard times involved. We ultimately ended up getting a refund for the service, which mostly covered the price of the mechanic. read more

The service itself was fine, however I noticed after the service was complete that my dryer vent cover was broken. The cover was not broken before the service and I know that for a fact because I recently had to submit pictures of my house for insurance purposes. My dryer vent is 15' up the side of the house so nothing else could have caused the damage. I contacted the company to see if they'd be able to replace the cover and they denied that the damage was caused by them and told me that if I wanted it replaced they would do it for a charge. read more

I live in Cypress, Tx I had a very unpleasant experience with Lee on his service visit with me yesterday (06/20/2024). I felt compelled to warn folks that he was short and discourteous with me on several occasions. I made inquiries while he was working and a couple of times he cut me off and ended with the phrase 'let me focus'. I obliged and walked away. When he was done he came down and I paid him in cash and he left. I then went into the attic to check his work and saw a large opening with daylight coming into the attic where the duct is attached to the outside vent. I called him up and asked that he return and finish the job by properly affixing the duct to the outside vent. When he came back, we both went upstairs and I asked him to come into the lower attic where I could point out what was wrong. He refused and said he knew what was wrong and proceeded to go into the upper attic. This alone bothered me in that if he knew what was wrong, why did he not properly affix the duct in his initial visit. From the lower attic I had a light that I shined specifically at the opening. He told me to stop shining the light and again with his words 'let me focus'. It was at this moment I became upset and our conversation became a little heated. I then told him how disrespectful he was. I walked away again trying to control myself. When he finished and came downstairs I asked him if we could go upstairs to check his work together. He agreed. As we started to go upstairs I mentioned that I, as a customer should not have been treated with the level of discourteousness that he displayed. I'll start the review by saying I never knew my dryer could dry my clothes so quickly! It had a 95% blockage error and refused to function. Despite trying to clean my vents on my own, the error was still there. Lee came out, explained where my vents were clogged, expertly cleaned them, and was transparent with the work being performed and pricing. He gave recommendations of proper maintenance going forward. Lee just finished. After three years, just two of us, and we got a low air flow warning from the dryer. Our dryer vent snakes through walls and finally exits on a very steep section of roof above an inaccessible portion of attic. Worst case scenario, I would say. Lee couldn't get to the exit vent on the roof but managed to rig a way to reach it with a length of aluminum tubing and his cleaning rods and brushes. Nice problem solving. What he got out of that nearly blocked roof outlet was unbelievable. Two large pieces 6-8 inches and compressed to a consistency of a heavy box cardboard. Otherwise he brushed and vacuumed an embarrassing quantity of lint bunnies from the dryer end of the tunnel. Cleaned up everything and left no bunnies behind! For my money this is a home run for 911 Dryer Vent Cleaning, and he's on my calendar to call in a year. My dryer was not getting clothes dry. Lee came out and inspected the vent in the attic for damage and determined that only a cleaning was needed. He ran brushes up the vent to break loose any matted lint then vacuumed the vent. H also vacuumed out the dryer as well. Lee was very friendly and my dryer works well now.
