Its been a while since we've been here but had a good experience tonight. We had the unlimited combo B and our server was so attentive and great! They definitely deserve all the tip working this hard. We ordered the brisket, marinated beef steak, and the garlic beef steak. My fav was the beef steak as the quality was quite decent for AYCE. Brisket was on the fattier side that we had to cook on low heat to avoid getting oil popped on our faces and this batch of garlic steak was on a saltier side. Sides were delicious and kept getting them filled. Vibe is good though slightly feels like club and the music is a bit loud that i think the hostess and I had a misunderstanding. All I said was party of 5 but she gave me a sass saying she won't seat unless everyone is there. Start wasnt the best but enjoyed the rest. Not a deal breaker but 9292 is a bit on a smokier side so make sure you take bare minimum that'll soak up the smell. Here are the minor drawbacks. We didnt know rice was not free so it was a surprise to us at the end so I would suggest servers let customers know. From the beginning we were nervous for the workers on the tiny pot holders that they were using to pick up and maneuver the pipping hot grills. At the end, one of the workers burned his finger cleaning the table that I strongly ask management to get better protective gear.
A really high quality kbbq spot in the Atlanta suburbs! We went with AYCE combo B and got the pork belly, beef brisket, and pork neck. My favorite KBBQ meat is the beef brisket and theirs was nice and fatty. The banchan had a nice variety and the amount of meat they gave in each serving was generous. They also cook the meat for you too!
The place is pretty and they offer a late night food option which was great because we showed up around 10 PM. There is a lot that was questionable throughout our service that would make me unlikely to return, however. Service itself was okay. All they have to do is bring meats to the grill, but that grill heats up really quickly and caked up really fast to the point that after every grill it needed to be replaced. From the pictures alone, you can see that there are lower 'sides' around the grill, which limits the space you can use for the grill without having meat drippings in your sides. We did not touch the "steamed egg" for this reason. Also, they only had exactly one soup and one ice cream available although the menu specifies there's a choice . There isn't. The soup was not up to standard and I didn't like my flavor of ice cream but again, no options. I did not like this "all-you-can-eat" style for the price point when there are so many similar priced options available in the area. Ordering a la carte would have been way more expensive. While the meat was tender, the fact that I could not move meat off of the direct point of fire (no sides) meant that every meat overcooked and burned very quickly.
We love Korean BBQ and this place did not disappoint! I like that they have options and you can either do all you can eat or order a la carte which is great for families with little ones where all you can eat isn't always worth it. You also get several sides like kimchi, salad, peanuts and more, plus you can order other items like noodles if you want. The place is huge so it's great for large parties and it wasn't too loud so you can actually talk. The service was great and overall we had a really good experience!
I was visiting Atlanta with my friend and we decided to check 9292 out and we definitely enjoyed the meal. The menu has a lot of combination options, so we decided to try Special 1. The waiter brought out the charcoal and did a really good job cooking our meats. I thought the filet mignon was the best followed by the brisket. The brisket comes with the combo, so you pick 2 meats from the list of choices. The rib eye was very fatty, so we didn't end up finishing it. The kimchi fried rice was alright, slight crunch to the texture. We went during prime time dinner hour and it wasn't as packed. Didn't have a waiting list, was able to get seated right away. It was very noisy, so it was hard to have a conversation. The facilities like the restroom was clean and staff were very friendly. Our waiter was funny and he told me a lot of places to check out in Atlanta. Overall, great food and fun experience. Will certainly dine here again if I'm back in town. Highly recommend this place for Korean bbq.
ORDER Combination D (for 5) with the Kimchi Fried Rice! All the meat is really good quality and melt in your mouth. The marinated meats have just the right amount of seasoning to where it's not too overpowering and you can still taste the flavor of the meat. Kimchi Fried Rice - very unique in that I've never had fried rice that tasted like this. Packs quite a punch. The rice tastes a lot more like gochujang flavored compared to kimchi. Side dishes, cheese corn and steamed eggs are all delish! Compared to a lot of places in Texas, this place is definitely worth the value! VIBES Pretty nice! Each table is sectioned out with taller walls which gives nice privacy. It gets pretty busy later on. SERVICE Service was pretty alright - our server had just been working there for 3 days but was still very polite and good. They do get pretty busy so they're not as attentive but that's understandable.
9292 is one of the many Korean BBQ restaurants located in Duluth. Had such a hard time picking which KBBQ to eat for my birthday, but ultimately I decided to try 9292 based on the glowing reviews. Let me just say, I was not disappointed! We decided to go with the 9292 Special 2 which involved meats that were not included in either of the ayce menus (prime eye rib and marinated beef brisket short rib). Even though we didn't choose to do ayce which I normally go with when I eat kbbq, the portions of the Special 2 were very plentiful and allowed us to try quite the variety of meats offered here!! The meats and banchan are so fresh and very flavorful!! The Napa cabbage kimchi fried rice was a little too spicy for me however, and the soybean paste stew was a little too salty. But that didn't take away too much from my overall experience eating here. Our server cooked the meat for us and we didn't feel rushed with each batch of meat being cooked. Also something I noticed is that with each meat being cooked came with a new grill change to ensure the meat won't be burnt. The overall restaurant is very spacious to allow a lot of seating, however something I noticed right away was the smokiness from the various grills working to cook meat. A minor setback which is honestly to be expected of any Korean BBQ restaurant. I am so glad I chose to eat at 9292 during my most recent visit to Georgia and I will look forward to coming back again!
Out of the seemingly endless KBBQ choices in this particular area, 9292's selling point/gimmick would be the charcoal grills the meats are made on. These lend a smoky flavour to the meats and hot sides (corn cheese, angry egg, mushrooms, bean sprouts - all endlessly refillable) that are served in a ring around the grill that differentiates it from the rest of the pack. Choices to order are either meats a la carte, a selection of different combos, and an all you can eat option, though the meat choices for those may not have everything you're looking for. Meat quality is above average, highlights were the short rib and rib eye steaks. Service was better than expected for this kind of restaurant, though that could have been related to coming on a quieter weekday day. Weekends the place gets fairly busy, though the restaurant is large. Servers were very attentive and grill the meats for you at the table. Restaurant located in a strip mall; parking plentiful and free. Prices are about expected for the food, your mileage may vary on how many people you can stretch a combo that "feeds 3-4" to (we comfortably stretched it to 6). OF NOTE: This place charges $1 for a bowl of rice, though sides/banchan are free and endless. Good experience overall, though also to note the restaurant due to how the food is cooked at the table is EXTREMELY smoky so be careful how you sit at the table if you are sensitive.
There are a lot of delicious KBBQ spots in Atlanta and 9292 definitely stands out in the list! Parking should not be a big problem and the space is really modern inside. My friends and I were seated as soon as entered on a Friday evening. We had a great server who was very chatty and attentive with us. We got AYCE--specifically the 9292 B, which offered additional meats such as Prime Beef Brisket and Spicy Chicken in addition to the typical meats offered with AYCE. The meats were all good quality, as well as the side dishes (especially the kimchi). I liked that the charcoal grills did not leave too intense of a smokey flavor on the meats, which can be a problem at other places. I will say that it gets very smokey inside while the grilling is taking place, so that is something to consider before dining here. Otherwise, I had a good experience here!
Came here on a work trip with some coworkers and we wanted to find a place to settle our cravings for Kbbq. This place was one of the few spot still open late at night which is a definitive PLUS in this area as most things seem to close early. The service was exceptional, the restaurant was clean and had the latest Kpop music playing on the screens and over the speakers. The food was.. okay. Maybe that is because I am used to the LA kbbq scene and as a first timer in Georgia, I had too high expectations. Everything tasted as it should've, not remarkable but certainly not bad. Overall, it was a good kbbq experience and definitely a place I would venture out to more if I lived in the state. read more

Wonderful place to go to if you're looking to try Korean barbecue! I've been to other KBBQ restaurants, and the quality of the meat here is superb. It's definitely on the pricier side, but the unlimited side dishes and quality of the meat makes it completely worth it. We got Combo C with extra brisket in place of the shrimp, and everything tasted amazing! An order of rice is an additional dollar per person, but it really rounds out the meal, so I would recommend going for it. The server cooks the meat to your liking and follows whatever pace your party chooses to eat at. There is no rush, so you can take however long between courses. There are TVs playing KPOP music videos across the room, but every table is fairly secluded to itself so there's no trouble hearing the people you eat with. Give 9292 a try if you're looking for a new KBBQ experience! read more

Went to the wrong location but so glad I did. Great service, portions, taste and quality. Lots of space and cool vibe inside. AYCE for $40 is a pretty great deal! Only negative is that rice isn't included in banchan so you have to order as an additional side... and the shrimp wasn't cleaned at all. It was served with the heads, legs, AND vein (digestive tract) all in tact.... Ick read more
Second visit to this awesome Korean bbq place. Place can get pretty pack, but it's worth it. I can't do all you can eat anymore so it nice to have combo meals that pretty filling. Great selection of meats and side items that are unlimited. I also enjoy their Korean beers. Great service were they cook for you, that way you can enjoy the food. Waiter was very attentive and always filling up our sides. read more
Ordered the unlimited 9292 A and thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially like the seasoned pork, short rib, and the spicy pork belly. The egg and the cheese with corn were yummy. We had terrific service from Young, who cooked the food perfectly and replaced all of our side dishes without request. Great food and great service! read more
Amazing service. Our waiter cooked everything to perfection while also being attentive and supportive when we needed anything extra. Me and my girlfriend went for dinner and chose to get the Special 2 meal and the quality and amount of food you received is well worth it. Side dishes were amazing and they gave this spicy stew side that we didn't even know came with the meal and it was super flavorful and spicy! Went well with everything. We also loved the unlimited corn cheese and egg on the grill. A lot of seats available but people go in and out real quick and the ambience is very nice to enjoy your dinner. read more

Atmosphere: 9292 is a young and hip spot for KBBQ. We came at an odd hour so the restaurant was pretty empty, but we're sure it gets busy later at night. Service: Our server was super friendly and happy to provide us with his recommendations from the menu. Food: As it was our first time at 9292 KBBQ, our server recommended that we try one of their combo sets to get a sense of the quality of their meats. However, we came hungry and ready for some AYCE KBBQ! We tried their beef brisket, bulgogi, pork belly, pork short ribs, and pork neck. The quality and taste of the AYCE meat was pretty good! Some of the meats, such as the beef brisket and pork belly were on the fattier side, but nonetheless we enjoyed it! We also liked the banchan and side grilling areas for the egg and veggies. Overall: 9292 KBBQ is a great spot if you're looking to satisfy your AYCE craving with good menu options at a decent price. There are a lot of KBBQ options in the area, and we thought 9292 was a solid pick! read more
This is a great spot for Korean BBQ! The inside has a nice vibe to it with good music. You have a variety of sides given to you and all the meats were super delicious. There's plenty of space and the staff is excellent as well. read more

9292 is one of my favorite Korean bbq places ever. I've had my fair share of amazing to mediocre barbecues, so believe me when I tell you that this is one of the best you'll find out there. This all-you-can-eat Korean bbq joint has fatty brisket, thick cut pork belly, and several other meat options for your choosing. There is also a lot of tasty side dishes, including the steamed egg, corned cheese, and beansprouts that surround the grill. The cold tofu side dish and salads are also delicious. I also love that this place uses real charcoal so the smoky flavor goes into the meats. Service is also pretty good, considering that this place gets very busy. The interior is also modern looking and a very big space to seat a lot of customers at once. I will definitely come back here! read more

For a family of 6 we chose the unlimited B option which was so much food, and you cannot substitute any meat unfortunately. Our favorites were spicy chicken, Short ribs, Pork Belly, bulgogi. I would definitely recommend 9292 they aren't as traditional when it comes to Korean bbq which is great in my opinion. Service was ok I felt like I did most of the work but I guess that's how it works right lol Ambiance was very modern and spacious the only downfall for this spot is their ventilation is super poor! read more
It was a very interesting experience at this Korean BBQ restaurant! Highly recommend from our family member and we tried it , very satisfying with the combo ! 5 people $199.99 with plenty of meat, noddle soup and side dishes. They used charcoal to bbq all the meat and it really make the difference of the food and taste. We enjoy it and try it when are you are in town and you will like it! read more
Pretty amazing all you can eat! I've never given and all you can eat five stars but this one deserved it! High-quality meat good service! The only suggestion that I would ask them to change is fix the ventilation system there was smoke everywhere so their vents were not working very well in the tables near the window where we were sitting! read more

My favorite KBBQ place! Word of warning tho - if you're going during 'rush hour' you probably should call ahead and make a reservation. Unless you're totally cool with just chilling at the bar until seated (but it may take a while). This place gets insanely busy during weekends/dinner time. However, one time I went like at 3 pm on a weekday, and it was not insanely crowded - still more people than I expected tho, which speaks to how delicious it is! I always opt for the combos because it's simple and it's really actually all pretty great - combo #1 is for two people, and we love the ribeye and filet mignon options (the other is NY strip steak), all the sides are delicious - they used to have this rice roll thing tho, but I will tell you they no longer have that. You can ask for lettuce if you prefer to wrap your meats in it. The Kimchi fried rice at the end is always a plus - I'm almost always super too full by then but you can to go whatever is left over. Anyway - I recommend it! read more
If you are hungry just go here. The portions are huge which it is Korean bbq so that is understandable. The waiter was a little slow on checking up on us, but the food was divine. Some places I feel don't have the fresh meat to cook and here it was. read more

My sisters wanted to go to iron age but the wait was over 1-2 hours. I heard about 9292 and suggested we try it. Online it says they have an AYCE menu, however the options are very limited. Our server mentioned that we could go with Combo B and that it'd be enough for us. So we went with it. The quality of the meats is supposed to be amazing here. Anyways. The food was delicious and we did leave full. HOWEVER, there were hiccups. They didn't bring us utensils, so we had to flag down our server to get them. They don't offer rice (what asian restaurant doesn't offer rice), the charcoal was burning my sisters eyes (yikes), and they brought out all our combo side items waaaaaay after the fact we were finished. Our combo apparently came with rice but she brought us soup.... After we asked for rice. Lol. Sigh. Overall, although the meats were quality and good the service could have been better. Tl;Dr Considering how severely understaffed, our server was amazing- never failed to continually bring us meat and refill what we asked for. 5/5 service. Food is pretty good. Ventilation is a huge problem here. Skins smelled like smoke the next day. Bc of ventilation, I will not be back. E X P E R I E N C E we came on a sat night at 630p as a group of 13. It was packed. We were told it would be a 45-60 min wait but we were sat at the 25 min mark. For 13 people, we were sat at a table with two grills. I would usually not be content with this but the server was quick to bring the meat so it was acceptable. The moment I walked in, I was engulfed in smoke. The ventilation was terrible. It was so hot. Our eyes became so dry. When we left, our clothes and hair reeked. The huge vents on top of each table were not effective. There are tvs all along the walls, playing kpop. Very casual, chill feeling here. Very loud so it was hard to have conversations across the table (not usually the case with other kbbq places I've been to). TIP: no reservations on weekends (even for groups as big as 13) F O O D Short rib Brisket Bulgolgi Pork belly Spicy pork belly Galbi is not included. Charcoal grills!! Bulgolgi was my favorite. It was marinated well, not too sweet. Brisket wasn't fatty enough, the marbling wasn't there. But yet pork belly was half fat. Short rib was tasty- basically a more flavorful pork belly. S E R V I C E Our server was polite and thankful. It was clear that this place was understaffed. The server is supposed to cook your your for you but our food was getting burnt. So my friend asked for the tongs and scissors, and ended up cooking for half the group. We had concern for offending the server but the server later thanked us for doing that since he was overwhelmed. I appreciated his communication. As mentioned earlier, he made sure to bring meat quickly and never forgot to the bring anything extra that we asked for (refills on sauce, salad, etc). He was generous and quick with bringing meat to us. We never had to wait. He also continuously changed the grills, without us asking him. We cooked quickly, to avoid burning the food,, but it didn't matter bc the fire was too hot and a layer of blackness kept developing after every 1-2 rounds of meat. R E S T R O O M S Facing towards the back of the restaurant, women's is on the left and men's on the right of the bldg. In the females, there were 3 stalls. They weren't kept. We tried to come here on a Saturday night (around 8 pm?), but there was a 1-hour wait! We decided to try again the next day for lunch, and succeeded! From my experiences with KBBQ, I noticed that ones using coal fire pit are THE best...no contest. I think up to this point, 678 KBBQ was my favorite in Duluth, but I like the more spacious, modern, booth format of this one more. However, this place is a bit of a hot spot, so prepare to endure the hustle bustle if you go during rush hour dining times. Luckily, we got seated immediately when we arrived close to 11 am...and after much indecision, we decided to dodge the Combo Specials and ordered just our favorites off the menu - Marinated Beef Short Ribs, Bulgogi and Beef Brisket...totaling about $90. This turned out to be a steal though, given the huge portion of meats, amount of sides (and the many refills!), which also included a generous portion of spicy Tofu Stew, Greens, etc.etc. Well, what a FEAST it was! Don't think I've seen my husband look so seriously urgent while eating...and we both agreed that overall, this was probably THE best KBBQ experience to date. I will say, however, that I preferred the Short Ribs at 678 KBBQ in that it was cut thinner...and tasted better. Here, the Short Ribs were just not thoroughly cut...or too thickly cut. Still, all in all, the meats tasted AMAZING!! I've said it before and I'll say it again...NOTHING beats the taste of coal-fire cooked meats...especially if perfectly marinated and spiced the way they do at these KBBQ joints. I read some complaints about side dishes, but I didn't see that at all. I thought the sides were very good...even included items you normally don't see at KBBQ joints, like flavored peanuts and macaroni/corn combos! It was a great mix of die-hard Korean and Americanized side dishes. Their Stew was amazing too. I thought it was odd that they didn't play K-Pop overhead here. Instead, they played Maroon 5 the whole time! Luckily, I love Maroon 5, so didn't mind a bit...but I DID find that odd. Most KBBQ joints go with K-Pop all the way. I also LOVED how well air conditioned the place was...MUCH needed for KBBQ dining. Overall, we both had a STELLAR KBBQ experience here. I've been to much fancier KBBQ joints, or ones with more selections, or better sides even, but for some reason, this place has a special appeal...Not only well-rounded in terms of its selection of foods and generous portions/pricing, it offers such comfy ambiance. Guess I just love the semi-private-yet open booth format... and kick-ass A/C. A-Plus in my book! read more

This was my very first time having Korean BBQ so I left my friend guide me into what to order. We had the Special 2 which came with prok belly, seasoned pork short rib, prime rib eye, marinated beef short rib, prime beef brisket and radish kimchi fried rice. My favorites were the short ribs. The sesame dipping sauce was my favorite sauce. As a side, my favorite were the seasoned peanuts and the corn with cheese (asked for numerous refills of that one). It was a LOT of food, even for 2. This could potentially be shared among three people. But I absolutely loved it and loved the fact that the cooking was done at the table in front of you. 12/10 recommend. I went in for my birthday because of all the good things I heard about this place a few months prior. Not busy at all, no one in line behind us, no wait time, and many open tables. Unlimited option A is $35.99 while unlimited option B is $40.99. Option B is the EXACT same as option A except it has ONE more meat selection: "prime" beef brisket(I'll get to the quotes around "prime" in a second). I've been hearing that some KBB places have been removing the arguably most popular meat selection from the cheaper menu options just to make more money, but they could have at least offered more than just a single extra choice to the more expensive option other than just beef brisket. Anyway back to the "prime". The menu is MISLEADING with this particular cut. I wish I took a photo of the brisket when it was raw, but as soon as they brought it out, it was not even close to "choice". It looked like they bought a steak from the dollar store and put it through a pencil sharpener to slice it. Paper thin slices, almost transparent, little to no marbling at all, and jagged, torn apart edges. The waitress cooked for us the entire night and, although kind, was very hasty with it. People say that's why the brisket looked the way it does in the attached image, but I've had my wait staff in the past, and even myself, beat the living crap out of the brisket while tossing/flipping it and it still doesn't look this bad. This looks more like pulled/sandwich beef than it does beef brisket. The radishes tasted very odd in a bad way and they're my favorite part of the banchan, but the rest of the banchan was pretty good. 4/10 overall experience read more

Located off of Pleasant Hill this is one of my favorite KBBQ spots in the area! The atmosphere is pretty standard with little cubicles that separate all of the tables. Enjoyable and not over the top. We never get the all you can eat here cause the about of food and quality of the two person special is FANTASTIC. I am never disappointed. We always get the large intestine extra crispy. It is soooo yummy and we have a hard time finding other places keep it in stock. Another thing that sets them apart from other bbq spots is that they have RICE PAPER. It is my favorite and I don't know of any other places who keep it in stock. The service is always impeccable. They are well staffed and very attentive. 10/10 this is our favorite kbbq spot we are happy to drive 45 minutes to an hour to them everytime. read more

Went here with my boyfriend on a Saturday afternoon and were seated right away. The place was pretty smoky, but that just happens at busy KBBQ. The servers here are also your chefs. We ordered the AYCE A set. The selection is limited compared to other places we've been, but for two people, we had plenty to eat. A nice thing to note is that you can order a half-size of anything in case you want to try more or don't want to waste food. The ban chan come in large portions. We liked the seasoned tofu the best, and used the tofu sauce as dipping for the bbq. Yohan was our server, and he was excellent and personable. The place was a bit loud with all the fans going, but he was very patient and listened to all our questions. What he cooked for us: Pork belly - very plain, maybe lightly salted beef bulgolgi - pretty good, this came in a generous portion spicy chicken - excellent charred and smoky flavor using the mesh grill top seasoned Pork Short rib - recommended by Yohan. This was a sweeter marinade and very tasty! Ambiance is pretty standard, lots of kpop music and screens everywhere. The bathrooms are in the back, but be aware that the staff are moving very quickly around that area, and sometimes carrying hot coals! read more
SOOOO GOOOOD! I would have taken more photos if I wasn't enjoying the food so much. This is my first time here after hearing so much about it. They use charcoal grills which adds flavor to the meat. We ordered the meat ala cart: bulgogi, prime rib, spicy pork belly, rib eye, and brisket. It was all good. All the sides were good too. Servers were awesome and attentive. I've been going to 9292 for YEARS and it's still my absolute favorite KBBQ place in Georgia!! Came here with some friends on Monday (Memorial Day) night around 830pm and ordered the AYCE B which is worth it for the brisket alone. They bring out a huge plate of brisket - about two rounds worth for 5-6 people. The meat is always so flavorful and the right amount of chewiness without being too lean. The pork belly always comes out in thick cuts and has a great fattiness ratio, as well - super flavorful! I also love the pork shoulder and short rib, which are both really tender meat cuts and also super delicious. You can't really go wrong with anything on the menu. What really sets this place apart from other KBBQ places is all its sides and its coal grill. The coal grill really adds a nice smoky flavor to all the meats that no other KBBQ place here does. There's SO many sides that come with your meal for free that it makes the price absolutely worth it - egg souflee, cheese corn, mushrooms + bean sprouts, kimchi, rice paper, pickled radish wraps, salad, tofu, onions, green onions, and 3 sauces (ssamjang, sesame oil + salt, and a pepper oil (?)). On top of all this, the service is so great - they replace sides quickly (or when asked), as well as providing clean grills and new coal every so often. The only downside is the ventilation isn't that great. While each grill has a vent above it, they are pretty weak and odds are you will have smoke in your face while the meat cooks. It would be great if they could update to some stronger vents! Overall, for $35 this place is totally worth it, which is why I ALWAYS come back. The food is great, the service is great, the atmosphere is great (I love K-Pop) ... it's pretty unbeatable here. We decided to bring our friends here to celebrate his birthday and also it being their first time to ever try Korean bbq. Of course in Duluth there's literally 100 places you can choose from but we chose 9292 because they're consistent and use real wood fire and not just a gas stovetop! We love the sides they offer like cheesy corn, egg, caramelized peanuts, the bean paste is to die for and many of the others. I wish they did offer more of a variety of the kimchi like cucumber but the cabbage kimchi they had was fire. We had the spicy pork belly which was tender and the fat melted in your mouth, brisket, beef bulgogi was super flavorful and the short rib was delicious! We also had 2 bottles of soju because why not?! And our server JENNIFER is a freaking beast! She was extremely efficient, attentive, friendly, timely, and hustling the entire night. I would hire her in a heartbeat by just her work ethic. I mean wow I was impressed. The only reason why I didn't give it a 5 star was because of how Smokey it got in there. At one point my eyes we're burning and I'm not sure if it was just because of the amount of burners working all at one time or the hoods weren't operating at it's full capacity but it was really cloudy at one point. Pretty good, but there were extremely long lines to wait for. We really loved the corn cheese and pork belly. The only thing was that it was kinda messy since the corn was spilling and didn't fit into the pan. The servers also didn't clean it up or anything.
