Fire and Seoul is a great place to go to food amazing quality Korean style meat entrees.we ordered everything on the menus and everything was delicious. Not only do they have great quality meats but the flavor is on point as well. Highly recommend if you're looking for Korean style meat dishes like Galbi jjim.

Fire & Seoul is the sister restaurant of Okiboru and opened up recently so we were excited to try it. FOOD/DRINK: Beef Galbi JJIM (2 Ribs) + Torched Cheese - $49.99 + $4: Positives first, the meat had a decent wood-fired taste and this entree includes rice and side dishes. Unfortunately, for negatives, the portion of meat was pretty disappointing compared to the taste. The jjim came out in 5 minutes and was extremely lukewarm. The taste was also super off from what a Galbi jjim usually tastes like. The soup/sauce was way more watery than what it's supposed to be. It tasted more like a soy-sauced braised chicken than a jjim. Gochujang Pork Ribs - $16.99: Ribs were incredibly tough and not tender. There was not enough sauce and not enough flavor. Kimchi Cheese Fries - $8.99: The portion size was good, but the food came out cold and was too salty. Large Signature Frozen Makgeolli (Strawberry) - $22.99: This was the saving grace of the entire meal. It tasted like a lychee/strawberry slushie with a hint of alcohol. It was sweet and refreshing. Perfect for the summer! SERVICE: The servers were all chill and very accommodating. They were quick to fill our drinks and answer any questions. OVERALL: The portion size was pretty disappointing and I would expect warm food for the price. They also charge for side dishes and rice which is pretty unheard of. I don't see myself recommending this place or going back here.

Def lives up to the social media hype! Menu is currently online- https://ohbz.com/oo/fireandseoul-duluth-ga. The atmosphere is nice and the background music is a mix of Korean and English hip hop. Still a soft opening and all the servers are super attentive. We got the gochujang honey pork ribs and hot signature beef galbi JJIM. The latter comes with side dishes. Everything was amazing. The meats are very tender and juicy. The yuzu scallion salad was also delish! We'll def be back to try other dishes.

Wow! This is all I have to say about Fire & Seoul. This place serves wood fired barbecue using Korean flavors with an American barbecue flair. Everything is wood fired and made on the spot so it is extra fresh. There is not a lot on the menu since this place just opened, but I feel like the few options there are amazing. It is also very chic inside. Additionally, the service was great! The staff were very attentive and personable. Everything was kind of expensive so make sure to go with a group to lower prices. We ordered the Braised Short Rib, Gochujang Honey Pork Ribs, Signature Beef Galbi Jjim, and Sotteok. The Braised Short Rib and Honey Pork Ribs were so good! They were seasoned very well. Plus, the meat fell off so easily. The Signature Beef Galbi Jjim was also delicious. There were typical rice cakes inside as well as other items common in a beef stew. The Sotteok was also yummy and seasoned well. The side dishes such as the kimchi and mac salad were super good as well. I definitely fell into a food coma after eating here. I would recommend Fire & Seoul if you are looking for a unique dining experience.

my friend really wanted to try fire & seoul, and the menu and pictures looked very promising. we arrived on a saturday for lunch, and there was nobody else in the restaurant. i imagine that it'd be busier around dinner time. they have more private rooms for seating on the side, which was nice. service was friendly, and food came out pretty quickly. they also provided unlimited banchan, which included kimchi, pickled vegetables, and macaroni salad. - signature beef galbi jjim (2/5): the portion was generous, but the entire dish came lukewarm and almost cold, which was offputting. the server didn't completely torch the cheese, so there were still lumps of hard cheese throughout the stew, which was watery and weirdly grainy. the meat itself was tender. the flavor was decent, although a little bland, and it could've been a little sweeter. we also ordered it at medium spice, and it wasn't spicy at all. i probably wouldn't order this again - f&s beef back rib (4/5): we wanted to try the f&s braised short rib, but it was out that day so we ordered the beef back ribs instead. it also came out lukewarm but warmer than the galbi jjim. i loved that the meat was fall-off-the-bone, and i also liked the marinade, which was smoky, sweet, and salty with a hint of spice. i was surprised by how nicely fused the american bbq and korean flavors were - sotteok sotteok (3/5): this was the only dish that came out hot! it was also both my friend's and boyfriend's least favorite dish. the sotteok came with a sweet glaze, which i liked but could've used more of because most of it was a little bland. the sausages added much needed flavor. i liked the texture of the rice cakes, which were slightly crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and charred from the grill excited that atl is getting galbi jjim, although i had higher hopes that it would match daeho or sun nong dan on the west coast. i think the most disappointing thing was that the dishes came out lukewarm and almost cold, which ruined the experience for me. if they could fix the temperature, i think that the fire-grilled meat alone would make it worth stopping by for a nice american and korean bbq fusion.

Waitlist was a little long but we sat down quickly. The service we received was very fast our server was good. Food is delicious, love the Smokey flavor. Everything very flavorful. I like the little rooms/booths.

Small menu but that means High quality smoked grilled ribs. Loved the frozen banana makgeolli! Ordered the jjim with sides already included! Great staff and clean space.

Pretty good. Not your standard kbbq. More of American Korean bbq hybrid. Menu isn't big for now. The short rib is really good. The jjim had a little too much going on in it but still very flavorful. Looking forward to them expanding the menu.

Love seeing more Galbi Jjim options come to Duluth! Service was great. It's located and attached to Okiboru next door. Felt homey with private rooms that can seat 4 ppl. Purely food based review: Galbi Jjim - Great value at $54 with 5 sides + torched cheese. Our meat was tender, good amount of vegetables. Sauce wasn't as thick nor as spicy as we thought at medium level. Would get again at this price. Braised Beef Ribs - Really good, but for $44 we wished portions were bigger. Would've gotten another Galbi Jjim or other sides.

Fire and Seoul is a fun new spot currently in its soft opening right next to Glam 104, it's a bit of a mixture of American and obviously, Korean, bbq. My husband and I came with my brother in law around 7pm on a Wednesday. The center of the restaurant has long bench-seat tables, reminiscent of eating at an American bbq hall, whereas the sides of the restaurant have private dining areas which I think seat up to 4 comfortably. We were seated immediately in a roomy side room. Our server was super attentive with drinks and service, I really appreciated how he explained how many people each dish could feed and gave a few recommendations which ended up being the perfect amount of food for the 3 of us. We ordered beef braised short rib, which came out in 3 thick pieces, right on the bone. The meat literally slid right off the bone it was so tender and juicy! We also ordered the kalbi Jim (added cheese of course which our server flambéed right at our table!) and the kimchi cheese fries. Several banchan, or side dishes, also came with the meal. There are the standard alcohol options, including the new jinro pink (sugar free) soju, which is still kind of rare, so that was a cool find! All the food was clearly cooked with care. The flavors are both traditional and unique (our green onion salad had citron flavor which was super surprising and also refreshing!). In the next few weeks, they plan on expanding their menu to offer more options, including more individualized portions, so we will definitely be going back to try that. This is a great spot to check out if you're in the Pleasant Hill area and looking for something different than the 100+ kbbq options, but still want something rooted in Korean flavor. 10/10 recommend!

**soft opening** we ordered the Jjim and it was DELICIOUS! for two people we absolutely demolished all of it! The meat was so soft and it came with a bunch of veggies. The meal even came with banchan and I LOVED the Mac salad! For starters we got the sotteok which I think I ate the whole thing in under a minute. The staff here so sweet and attentive, can't wait to come back!!

Love love this place ! We had braised beef ribs that was melt off the bone good !!! Full of flavor, moist and tender!! The sides are just as tasty We will be back for sure !!

@fireandseoulatl recently opened and we had to give them a try. The concept of blending between Korean and American flavors is certainly different among the myriad of Korean restaurants in Duluth area. Yet, the Korean flavors are still preserved. Their signature is galbi jjim; we added torched cheese for aesthetic effect (or you can say, for the 'gram). Price is reasonable. Interior is clean. Service is very friendly.

Melted cheese over the Galbi Jjim, table side.

The service was quick and friendly, the restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated with warm wooden accents, and the food was delicious. We ordered eight items off the menu, and while the Scallop with Garlic Sauce ($15.98) was a bit too garlicky for my taste, we enjoyed every dish we tried. The Chicken Skin ($6.99) was perfectly crispy, the Special Lamb and Fatty Beef ($8.99 each) were juicy, the Roasted Eggplant ($5.99) had a rich smokiness, and both the Roasted Enoki Mushrooms and Grilled King Oyster Mushrooms ($5.99 each) were fresh and packed with flavor. The Pork Belly with Enoki Mushrooms ($6.98) were especially delicious! They were flavorful without being overly porky. We'll definitely be back!

My favorite dish is probably the eggplant on rice. I'm also a fan of the fried salted egg corn. The egg drop soup is kind of standard fare and so is the fried pork. Enoki mushrooms were a hit but I felt like it was a small portion. My wife was also disappointed in the stir fried udon noddles. My least favorite dish is the shrimp. The shrimp looks pretty but it's just takes too much effort to eat it. The real reason to come here are for the skewers though. The lamb and fatty beef are good. They are not the best skewers but still great. Would I come here again? Yes but only with friends. It's quite a drive but it's in a nice shopping center. My friend says Friendship BBQ is nearby and better though.

Jin was our server and he was kind enough to answer a ton of questions even though he was so busy with other tables. He was great- all the meat was grilled to perfection and any side dishes (banchan) we needed was a quick request away. For 3- we crushed dinner. Got a combo, and two sides of Kalbi. Let's just say it was a LOT of food, but we also had soju/beer (somek) which also was enjoyed tremendously. You cannot go wrong here. They have combo meals; which are of excellent quality, or you can go with AYCE- still pretty good quality but you'll not get the marinated beef ribs in that way. Thanks to Jin for his patience and great service! Obviously I'll be back, this is my go-to charcoal BBQ spot here in town!

This time, I brought my friend who has never had Korean bbq before for her to try. We went right when it opened so it was quiet. I told the server it was her first time and he was eager to explain everything to her. I don't think she was prepared at all what was about to grace our table He brought out a cart full of side dishes and start to explain what each one is along with the flavor profile. When he got to the scallion salad, she was just not loving it, but he told her to at least try and see what she thinks (don't knock it til you try it!) Then he said they're still getting the charcoal ready so it'll be a few more minutes and my friend's eyes just (like what?) So we start with trying a bite of all the sides. She enjoyed everything except the sliced onion salad. Surprisingly, she loved everything else, including the scallion salad! She's a texture eater, so I was weary of her trying the tofu, but she really enjoyed that too! So... the charcoal comes out, and she's just Then the server brings the grill with the cheesy corn, spicy bean sprout, and he poured in the eggs. Followed by the meats! Since she didn't really know what she likes, I made a few suggestions and the server suggests letting him bring us the most popular items first and we can work our way through the menu. What a great idea!! Started with brisket and ribeye and wow ... meats were fresh, paired with the sides, and the dipping sauces, it's just chef's kiss!! We then had bulgogi and pork belly and those were just bursting with flavor! The cheesy corn was good but burned too fast on the grill, the spicy bean sprouts are amazing, and the steam egg is my favorite . The only downside is that if you don't eat those sides that are cooking on the grill right away they'll turn dry and burned and it won't be as good. The cheesy corn also caused some splattering to our hands when we were cooking the meats. The server apologized for the oil splattering since he heard the squeal immediately soak up the oil from the cheesy corn so the splattering would stop. Overall, my friend gave it 10/10!!!
