Eddie took it in and Nate analyzed the problem to find the turbo itself was failing (common for OEM Holsets). Nate recommended an upgraded turbo and Eddie suggested a BD Screamer to maintain Ca compliance. Due to great Dodge engineering the headgasket failed so we upgraded to a Mahle headgasket and ARP Headstuds. Both Eddie and Nate are extremely knowledgeable about turbo diesels! They are the Diesel Doctors! I trust their recommendations and their work was top notch! They went the extra mile in areas to make the repair job last for the long haul. Nate also told us future steps we could take to lengthen the lifespan of the 68RFE transmission (they all fail) and future upgrades. WHEN your RAM wants to see the doctor (they all will) bring it to Fast Eddie. He and Nate will get you back up and running! I thought the labor price at $200/hour with a 2-hour minimum was a bit steep, but this is Commiefornia. I called the day before and talked to Kaley to ask if they had an RV dump and could we utilize it while we were there. She stated sure, no problem. Upon our arrival today, we were greeted by Chris. After he finished up with a customer, we started the conversation about us showing up early to use the RV dump. He stated he wasn't aware of the approval and said that he'd have to wait until Kaley showed up. He did not make any effort to contact her to verify the approval and he never got back to me. He stated that he had me in for 2-hours on the dash radio repair and an hour on the door awning. I declined the work on the door awning as I'm going to replace the motor myself and save $200. He then questioned when we would like the RV back. I told him that we are going to wait for it. He stated that it might be done by the end of the day. I then reiterated to him that when I made the appointment, it was to be completed while we wait. Chris contacted the service technician on the phone and told him I was here. The service technician (Harry) stated that he would be there in 15 minutes to start the work. 25 minutes later, Harry walked out of the parts department and stated that he had to run and get a part that one of the techs broke on another job. We left to go get food and came back 45 minutes later and nothing was started. I walked into the reception area and asked Chris where Harry was. He stated he was in our Bus working on the problem. I proceeded to walk to our Bus to check on progress. Guess what? No Harry and nothing had been completed. By this time, it was almost 12:15 and we had been there since 10am. I proceeded to ask for my keys back since this was the worst customer service I have ever received. Chris couldn't find my keys and supposedly Harry had them in his pocket and would be back soon. Then less than a couple of minutes, Chris came out with our keys. This place is a joke. They never apologized for Harry not being here on time to work on our RV, then disregarding our appointment and sending Harry to get parts for another job while we just stood there waiting for someone to start working on our RV. I will NEVER recommend this establishment as their customer service skills suck sweaty donkey balls. Chris told me that if he was scheduling the appointment, it wouldn't have been scheduled for a waiter appointment. I don't really care who scheduled it, we were told there was a 2-hour window blocked out for them to fix our RV. They out and out lied to us. We wasted fuel and our time just to be given the proverbial run around. Stay away from this place if you want your RV serviced. The technician Harry also reeked of alcohol and that should not be acceptable. They may do great body work, but they need remedial training on customer service. Caveat Emptor

Specifically asked for a check on why my engine motor was not charging the batteries while driving. We own a 2022 Berkshire XL 37A, class A diesel pusher. On our last outing we had a leak coming…read morethrough the AC intake in the bedroom. The only water source is the AC unit on the roof at the rear of the coach which happens to be above the bedroom. I immediately suspected a clogged drain line. Supporting that suspicion was the lack of condensation build-up coming out of the drain line (the front AC unit was draining just fine). Although this can be an easy DIY fix, I am a senior and still recovering from a terrible ladder accident/fall so going up on the roof was not an option for me. I called a mobile RV repair service and they quoted me a minimum of $600 for the repair. A person at the RV storage facility we use suggested I call American RV Service Center. I called last week and spoke to Morgan. She was very helpful but initially said her next opening was in August. I told her we are going on an outing July 22nd. She said she would see what she could do to get us in before then. After a few minutes she came back on the line and told me because it was presumably a simple fix she could get me in Friday the 19th. She advised me they charge $175 an hour and it shouldn't take more than 2 hours. Today (the 19th) they got our coach in. The tech found there was no clog, the line was clear. He did find that the drain hose connected to the pump did not have a clamp securing it. He put a clamp on it, confirmed that the pump was working and then tested the system. With the bedroom AC unit on for a while, the system began draining the condensation build up, operating normally. No leaking inside. Problem fixed. Morgan was great to work with throughout this process. They went above and beyond to get us taken care of knowing we have an outing planned. The temps will be in the triple digits where we're going and having both AC units working will be a life saver! Their service costs are fair and their customer service was excellent. Also, it's nice to call a business and have a live person answer. I highly recommend American RV Service Center!!! Thank you Morgan and thank you tech (unfortunately I did not get his name).
