July, a Thursday around 1:00pm. I entered the store and saw a huge fan on my right side. I was thinking " This can't be cooling off the whole store". I I passed the Hot case and the food looked delicious. I told myself I have to come back for either the Sweden, sour chicken or the Kung pow chicken. In the back, I didn't see as many bakery items as I usually see towards the weekend but again this was on a Thursday. Everything still looked delicious. The frozen section where the duck part items are such as the duck heads and duck tongue and duck feet...... appear to have been in the freezer too long; as did the frozen Turkey Wings. The produce section was well stocked, but did not look as vibrant in some sections as it has before. I usually stock up on my ginger root, and most of it felt light and weight meaning the ginger was drying out. The yams and sweet potatoes had seen better days. The cabbage and bok choy was beautiful and so were the carrots and cilantro and greens. The lemon grass did not look great. And the store was entirely too hot for me so I was cutting my shopping visit short. They had an impressive assortment of "Moon Cakes". I had to grab a beautiful box. I can't wait to taste one this Autum. I found my jars of chili crunch and samba. I got a beautiful cabbage and my bean sprouts. I'll come back soon. read more

I always have a great experience shopping here. I've gone here a handful of times; different days and at different hours (except the weekend), it's never really too crowded which is nice. I'm able to roam freely and check everything out. It's a great specialty Asian market where you can definately find what you need. Staff is super nice here too. Very accommodating if you're looking for something or when you're checking out. Recently went here to buy ingredients to make Pho. I was able to find everything I need. The shelves are always stocked, the vegetables and meat look fresh from what I've seen. I've never had any issues with anything that I've bought being spoiled or out of date. This is a nice and new addition to a very large space in a busy shopping center that has sat vacant for years. 99 Ranch Market is an Asian supermarket and offers a good selection of mostly Asian items. I enjoy their seasonal produce and bakery sections very much. I was surprised to not be able to find any sushi with such a large seafood section. The new 99 Ranch Market has opened in what was the Von's store that has been closed for many years. It's a pleasure to have an Asian grocery close to home. Going at 6PM was smart as it was not crowded. The store opened recently and there's still some more ot add inside including a place for boba tea. I took a cart and looked especially at the pork buns in the freezer section. These make a good quick dinner or just one for a lunch. I didn't check out the meat case nor the bakery. Another time. With it being so close, I can get the Asian foods I like without going to Chinatown. I'll be back. read more

The good part about this Ranch 99 location is the parking. There's a big lot that's usually the first challenge at the Spring Mountain location. Walking in, as a new store, it's super clean with well stocked aisles. I was especially interested in the bakery section and saw a lot of really nicely made pastries, buns, and cakes. Their pricing is average compared to all other area bakeries. Everything is nicely wrapped and you can walk around the islands to select what you'd like and then head to the checkout. After going home, I tasted the pastries and while they aren't the Cantonese style pastries that I love, the buns were fresh and fluffy. read more

For this place being new, it's kind of dirty. And then to top it off some of the workers not all, but some of them are extremely rude. I was showing one of my parents something and one of the workers walked right into me. She was looking at me and I pointed out something and she straight up shoved me which is beyond rude. I don't understand why these places always smell very bad. It's just an unappealing smell. I don't condone animal cruelty, so the fact that they bash them on the head having live you know sea animals is kind of messed up. There was a dead crab in the tank, which it just puts fear in all the other animals getting starved to death so other people can eat them. They do have an array of items which is neat. The smell is very bothersome to me a turn off. N customer service reps w zero respect for customers Funny thing is that I keep getting response saying go to panda, this caters to asian! Guess wht alot of Asian markets in Cali do not have the same scent as the ones out here in Asian markets. They are a lot cleaner in Korean ones usually. Finally opened at Boca Park!!!! Went before the grand opening - it was already busy. Place is big!!! I would say it's one of the better 99 Ranch and I've been to a lot in the west coast. When you walk in- one the right side there is a travel agent and hot food followed by their bakery - great selection. They were giving sample of coconut bread. One the right side of entrance is boba place. The seafood and meat looks very good and fresh. Great selection of fruits- they have green and red muscat. Great selection of different Asian products. Lots of different noodles. The frozen section is amazing. So happy of not having to go to Chinatown to get a lot of the products. Don't forget to sign up for reward program. read more

It's nice to have a decent Asian market on this side of town near Summerlin. Parking is plentiful which is nice. This supermarket is gigantic! Inside there is a travel agent, a kitchen appliance store, an Asian Gourmet Kitchen, a bakery, a "Kiddleton" with claw machines for kids, a boba shop that is not yet open, and plenty of seating for diners. They also offer a good variety of cooked food (mostly Chinese and Japanese) and dim sum items. The aisles are wide; and the store is spacious, bright, and clean. They have a wide selection of food and kitchen items. I personally think that their live seafood section could be better. Also, their Chinese spices and sauces are not very well stocked. Produce looks nice and fresh but lacks variety. Another shortcoming I noticed is pricing. The same kind of dried shiitake mushrooms I get for about $15 or $16 at another 99 Ranch Market is sold for $19 at this location. So the convenience comes with a little extra cost. read more

It was a bold decision coming on grand opening day. I'm surprised to say it wasn't too bad. I'm excited to have such a close option for an Asian grocer. Aisles and aisles full of everything you need and more to cook or eat your favorite asian hearts desires! Very exciting they opened a market dedicated to the asian community on the West Side. This is a very spacious/high ceiling and decent new 99 Ranch, Chinese grocery store in Las Vegas near Tivoli Village. Nice. Public restrooms are available near checkout area. Aisles are larger and wider than most 99 Ranch locations across the states. No lines and no crowds after 2:30pm Monday. Easy breezy. Parking lot is huge! If you like non-stressful 99 Ranch stores, then this may be the grocery store for you. Clean place. Travel agency/Asian Gourmet Kitchen takeouts $7.99 per combo box)/Fotile home remodeling supplies/bakery/etc. I noticed that customers cannot pay at the bakery or food takeout areas and are directed to pay at front cash registers or self checkout lanes. Yes, this 99 Ranch has a self checkout area which makes it very convenient here. Inventories are full now. Good selections and there's also an area with plenty of tables and chairs to sit at. The Just Boba spot hasn't moved in yet. Produce and meats counter looks great. Good prices and deals marked visibly for the eyes. I think this 99 Ranch is less crowded in this rich/lovely neighborhood near Summerlin. Looking good so far. Cashiers were nice ladies. Space is perfect for wandering around. Note, the public restrooms doesn't have automatic paper towel dispensers or touchless technologies. You will have to manually pump out paper towels with your hands after washing your hands. This 99 Ranch should invest in upgraded restrooms. In general, this store is pretty well kept and clean though. read more

Went last Sat. for tofu. The cleanest, most organized Chinese market I've ever been to! And the store wasn't even crowded! Maybe because of where it is? But works for me, as it's pretty close to where I live. The store carries mostly Chinese stuff (it IS a Chinese market, after all). Doesn't have as much Korean stuff as say 168 Market. But as I just needed tofu, it was just fine. Got some ground pork too. Came here to check out the new 99 Ranch Supermarket that just opened in the Summerlin Boca Park area where what used to be the Vons, that closed a long time ago. There's plenty of parking, so it'll be easy to access. The store is huge and looks as if they're still working on adding a boba cafe and other things, which will make it more exciting. There are aisles and aisles of almost everything you can think of. There's also a bakery in the back, and a fresh seafood counter. I don't remember if there was a meat section, but I'm sure it's there. The produce section was smaller than what I imagined. But all the produce items are nicely packaged and displayed nicely. The downfall was, the store was set at cold. I was almost freezing walking around the store. The music was super loud and you can't really get help if you asked an employee for something you're looking for. They just kinda stare at you, flag another employee down, talk to each other and walk away from you. read more

I went there on Sunday the second day of their grand opening and it was dead I got there about 9:15 pm they close at 10 pretty bare as far as people go. They had some deals like lobster for 8.88 but none in the tank. It's a lot bigger than the other one but items you can find at other grocery stores you can't find here and the variety of items was bad also. I would only go there if I needed something. They had a bakery and a food place and a drink place but all were already closed. Probably won't be going here anytime soon. read more

Lots of helpful employees that speak English, which is a plus compared to the location in Chinatown where you've gotta bring a friend with you to translate. Newly opened 99 Ranch in Boca Park and I'm already a fan. Plenty of parking and a much bigger location compared to others. We stopped by the day before the grand opening and the store was spacious, wider aisles, clean, and very well organized. There's a great selection of Asian groceries, plus a bakery, gacha machines, and a section with prepared foods. The meat/seafood looked fresh, and the produce section had a nice variety of vegetables and fruits. The only small hiccup was at checkout--the cashier seemed a bit unsure of what he was doing--but I'll give him grace since it was clearly part of the opening rush and he was new. Overall, I'm really excited to have this new 99 Ranch location in the area and will definitely be coming back. read more

This Review is for the Asian Gourmet Kitchen Fast Food Restaurant (Only). The Restaurant is located in the Very Upscale Part of Vegas so I was very surprised at their choices of Ingredients in the foods I ordered . Note they have only been open 27 Days at this brand new Store ! I understand that this style of store is primarily geared towards Asians ! But in the Upscale Neighborhood that they are located , one would think they would tune up and adjust a few ingredients in their fast foods to the area for the residents locale ! I asked to server behind the counter if the use msg in cooking these fast foods. She said a Big Yes to my surprise . I ordered Sweet Rice Ball with Meat (Pork). It was $3.99 for 3 puffy balls, which is reasonable in value ! But, upon tasting them, one would definitely realize that they are unfortunately deep fried and quite oily ! Although they have a decent ,the oiliness is pretty overpowering to me. They definitely & for sure, need bake or Air Fry them instead of deep frying them, for health and taste reasons. And if there is Msg in them, substitute another seasoning that is healthier for humans to consume ! Moving on to the next items that I got. They have the option of a smaller alacarte entree for $5.99, or a larger 1 item Combo Plate for$ 7.99. No 2 or 3 Item Combo Plates or add ons . I decided to chose the 1 item Combo Plate. I asked the Server if I could 1/2 of each of the 2 available sides, whick were yellow noodle Chow Mein and Fried Rice. She said that was Ok. I then chose the Eggplant as my Entree. Upon eating the Combo Plate this is what I found be true to me ! The Fried Rice was Bland & Flavorless, had very , very little veggies, and a bit oily. The Chow Mein had Golden Yellow Noodles and sadly sparse veggies, and was beyond excessive oilyness. Really Bad Side . They need to add more veggies to both sides and non msg seasoning as well. And tone the Oil down dramatically in the Chow Mein too ! Now the EggPlant Entree was better tasting, but again tone down the oil some on the dish . Also when I asked for some condiments in packet or one of those 1/2 oz little plastic tubs, I was told that they don't have any. None, that is ridiculous ! That is a big demerit to me ! Get some condiments on the side man !!! Summary: Lots of Room for Improvement at the Asian Gourmet Kitchen as far as I am concerned. So guys please choose to improve it and not leave it the way it is now ! Breakdown of needed improvements needed : 1. Eliminate All Msg and replace it with Health Safe Seasonings. 2. Cut down you Oil Usage in All Entrees and Side Dishes to a Minimum. 3. Add a lot more Vegetables and Non Msg seasoning with more flavor to your Chowmein and Fried Rice . Have a younger health conscious food Chef improve your food dishes to make them more flavorful, No Msg, and Way less Oil . My first visit to this store. Wanted to try my hand at preparing Pho and thought It would probably be best to find an Asian market. So glad I found this market. From the friendly staff and the high quality and selection of food, this is a market I will return to again and again! Not to mention the prices. They have a nice selection of groceries, household & beauty products and ready to eat meals & sweets. Employees were nice and helpful. Sometimes traveling to 2 or 3 Asian markets,we're all found here at this 99 ranch. Ive been to the other on spring mountain but its selection isnt as good. This review is specifically for the grocery as I never buy prepared food from these spots. Its new so everything feels squeaky clean and well lit. They do have the fish tanks so it does have that aquarium smell,but im not concerned with it. Ive posted pics of some things I picked up as well as common ingredients ive searched for in the past I was happy with fresh produce, but I feel sauces and pastes tend to be the more difficult things to find. I went to check this place out since the Summerlin location had just opened recently. I live relatively close, so this market works for me. The store is very large. It appears very clean and well organized. It did not have a few of the things I normally look for in an Asian market... Like black sesame ice cream... Or if they have it, I sure didn't see it. I was gonna buy a bottle of Ponzu and they only had one left. I didn't need it right now, so I passed. I did find some frozen shrimp dim sum which is something I look for. I also found some seaweed potato chips from the Calbee brand. They are pretty good! Nothing will ever compare to the Oishi seaweed and wasabi chips... But those are discontinued.... so I need to get over it. The fish counter was kind of mixed bag. Some of the whole fish looked very good. Some of it didn't look exactly the greatest. There were some nice looking cuts of meat. The price did not seem that different than anywhere else. I was hoping they would have some sashimi grade tuna or salmon. I would take that fresh or frozen... But I did not see either. The pre-prepared sushi or fish chunks for slicing did look pretty good. There is certainly a large selection of many of the things that I would look for in an Asian market....but....We all have our favorites and they didn't have some of mine. However, I would still return for some things that I know are in this market without having to travel farther to Spring Mountain markets. read more

We bought a high priced gourmet drink supposedly with pomelo n mango 楊芝甘露 . It was a pitiful milk water yuck! Look for the advertised sale items to buy n forget the rest, cause they are a rip-off. Was very excited and eager to buy the seafood. Waited patiently for our turn, allowing another woman to go first. However, when her order was completed and we asked for 4 portions of crab legs, we were directly ignored by the man behind the counter, who turned without acknowledgement and walked away. The worker pretended not to understand when asked for his name despite having served the customer prior. It was difficult trying to find anyone to help ask for the manager. The man working the seafood area was a young, heavy set, tall, lighter skinned Hispanic, with a beard. He seemed put off that he didn't get a break after helping ONE customer. They have ground beef on sale priced as a "Managers Special" and the ground beef is Very OLD and already went bad The outside is red but the inside is already VERY DARK colored as shows EXTREME SIGNS OF BAD MEAT.
