This is my family's go-to for car wash and oil changes and they've never done us wrong, although…read morethey never get everything quite perfect either. For oil changes they usually move quick, though they always have at least a short wait. They used to let you pull your car in and stay in it the whole time, but now insist on doing it for you. For car washes you sometimes have to go through twice for missed spots, but it's nice that they hand-dry here. Plus, you get a free wash with every oil change. The vacuums aren't the greatest on suction, but they are okay for a quick once over. The staff is kind of hit and miss. Sometimes friendly, sometimes not so much, but usually easygoing. Prices are about on par for similar services in town. I like that they are a good place to get everything done at once.

After they tried everything they said we needed a new engine and that the warranty would be good at any shop as he knew my son was moving to Waco. My biggst mistake, besides trusting Ben Shepherd with ny car, was not getting the warranty in writing - he said to trust him. My son was leaving for Waco in 2 days. So, we had Ben Shepherd put in a new engine. The engine was worse than the engine he replace. It started leaking oil 2 hours into my son's move - where my son had to buy 8 quarts of oil and had to keep stopping to add oil to the car . We we got to Waco we took it to an auto repair shop and they said we needed a new engine as the one that was put in would not last 5 days! We paid Shepherd's $6,000 for a bad engine and it was not under warranty when we called Ben Shepherd and complaint about the engine and asked where we could take it to be repaired. He took our money and killed our car which was a 2017 Honda Civic. Ben Shepherd took $10,000 from us in total - I could have bought a nice used car for that money! Shepherd's would just try to fix our car by trying something and hoping it would stick and fix the problem. Worse place ever to take your car to be fixed. They know Nothing about fixing cars are the most dishonest people I have ever dealt with in my life and I am 60 years old!! I know that's a lot of us these days. Recently my 4 year old and I left a bad situation behind and came here to start new. After a 3 day trip to our old home and back my car broke down 20 minutes from the dv shelter I'm staying at. It has been our house on wheels for a little while as we traveled and is everything we have. Without it we are in a new town with no way of making more money doing deliveries, no one to call for help, and without the shelter outside in the cold. After researching many options and reading reviews I felt in my heart this was the place to try. I felt the Lord leading me. I was able to get insurance to tow it for a extra 45$. I explained my situation to Lance on the phone and he made a opening right away for it to get dropped off. The Lord made provision for me with some money right before it broke down miraculously and told me to save 2000$. I didn't know I was about to break down, and it was a miracle I had that 2000$. He did a thorough investigation of the condition of my car with pictures and there are a lot of problems with my car. It's poorly maintained because I'm poor. I explained I had what I had to work with finsncially and that was it. He was so good at helping me navigate what was most important, how to choose wisely on what to repair and honestly we got most of it done. He heard I do deliveries and gave me a good discount on services, and after he got into it there were some extra complications he wrote off out of kindness of his heart and obedience to the Lord because he knew I didn't have it. I was so gratefull and knew there was a possibility there could be more issues, but came to pick it up in faith. When I arrived and started my car there was a problem (abs)when I started driving. I called Lance and explained to him what was happening, he asked if I could drop it back off and I said I could but I didn't have a way back to the shelter. He came in the middle of settling down and making dinner with his wife and looked at my car and gave me a ride. He found out it was abs which had been acting up when I go above 75 mph for some time. He knew I was terrified I'm sure and had no one to ask for help. He offered to help fix and work it out with me. The next morning I got a call of what he did to fix it and it's been driving well now. This man of God alongside his beautiful wife did that work for me free of charge. I would have really been in a pickle and I was scared. I am so grateful I chose a mechanic that follows the leading of the Holy Spirit in his work and really operates in honesty about your car and where your at and with integrity. He gave me a hand when I needed it most and helped me navigate the best way to get as much done as I could with the money I had. He didn't manipulate me or price gouge me. I brought my 1999 Mercury Mountaineer to Brandon's Auto on 04/24/2026. The vehicle is old but has been a great car and I knew if I didn't address some issues now, I wouldn't have a car to get to work soon. I am a federal employee who was greatly affected by the 80+ days of government shutdown, and I had to borrow money to get my car fixed. I had no income but was having to go to work every day, and this was my only vehicle. A family member provided a loaner car so I could continue to get to work. My husband had used Brandon's auto 20+ years ago at a different location, and Brandon himself did the work back then. It was a good and positive experience, so we decided to try Brandon's again, although now Brandon was not there, and had other mechanics doing the work. We still gave it a chance believing that Brandon would oversee a good business at least and provide quality mechanics. We met Shawna, the secretary up at the front, who was nice enough. Didn't have a problem with her, and she was the only person we communicated everything with. Never spoke to Brandon or any mechanic. (I'm going to add that there was a young girl also working there who was maybe 18-22 years old - a sullen, rude, and disrespectful young lady! I went in to pay on the car and dealt with her alone, and she absolutely irritated me with her bad attitude, not sure why she works there as she knows nothing about customer service or common courtesy. Didn't offer me a receipt after I paid, just slumped back down in her chair to continue to look at her phone and acted like an absolute BRAT when I asked for a receipt. She schlepped over to the printer sighing and acting put out and handed me the paperwork without saying a word.) If I had been satisfied with my automotive work, I would have never mentioned this. They provided a diagnosis, and we got an itemized list of what was wrong and the price for each. We opted out of some things and agreed to get some things fixed that seemed the most important such as transmission work and the front-end suspension work. This was going to be a huge amount of money for us, but we desperately needed this car to be fixed. I asked for a payment plan and Shawna said I could pay it out and would receive my vehicle once it was paid off. Fair enough for me, and I happily agreed to do that. I put 1500 down, and paid 500 two weeks later, and paid the entire balance off 1 week after that with help from friends and family (who I continue to pay off for their generous help). The total changed once after they called to let us know that the throttle body needed to be cleaned, and a new sensor connector/pigtail put in for $162.72, and we agreed to that. The grand total for everything was $3670.25. Then my husband drove the car home. Driving forward the entire time, he didn't know until he got home that the right front tire would LOCK UP when he tried to put it in reverse! When he took the tire off, there was a shiny brand-new gouge running the entire circumference of the inner rim! A similar shiny node showed the brake caliper and when he touched it, it was loose! When he inspected that, there was a bolt missing! Had this bolt been missing in another section of this brake caliper, the wheel could have either locked immediately making him not even be able to drive off of Brandons Auto parking lot...but what is worse, (and what makes me furious)...is that it could have locked while he was driving 65 mph down the high way (as we live out of town and a long drive) and it could have caused a wreck, a rollover....who knows what. But my husband's life could have been impacted by this gross negligence by Brandon's Auto mechanic. The transmission also wasn't fixed. It still revved for an extended length of time before shifting, just like before. The most important thing my husband wanted done on this vehicle didn't seem to be done successfully. I will give them credit for their work on the front-end suspension. The squeaks are gone, and we can physically see where they replaced the bushings and front suspension work. After looking under the hood, there were exposed vacuum lines that weren't hooked up or addressed. So, that shows a lack of being thorough. It was disappointing. We called Shawna immediately after getting home telling her about the bolt missing and sent pics of the gouged shiny metal on the inside rim, told her about the brake caliper being loose, same exhaust leak it had before, etc. She acted surprised and said how her mechanic wouldn't do that...while at the same time telling us that her mechanic QUIT, and they put another mechanic on the job. I would like a refund of $944.89 for the transmission work- our car behaves exactly like it did before as if nothing was repaired on the transmission at all. HUGE disappointment!

Give you a lousy excuse as why it's no longer lifetime??! Wtfe. And that's after you go through days on end trying to get them to reply. OK and do not schedule an appointment bc they will be closed with nobody on duty even though they text you half an hour beforehand to confirm. I'm warning you-save your time, energy, and money---this is the worst all around shop. Read others reviews--you'll see it's not just a one time mishap... it's consistently bad service, bad business, bad everything.
