Great customer service and Great deal!! I needed a storage space during my deployment for Amy training for 3months. Amy helped me out she was very polite and professional helped me with the signing up process and it was easy! I got a first month free deal for 5 by 10 space. It was a steal!! But even before moving in, my wife was allowed to stay at home so I found no reason to borrow storage space. I was worried about termination fee or penalty for canceling the service I haven't started yet but been over a week since I signed the contract. Despite my worries, Marisol helped me today and she made the process easy for me at no additional cost!! She even let me keep the free boxes that I received with Yelp check-in. Other than non-refundable Application, I didn't have to pay anything. Great Staff members and Great Service. I'm sure sooner than later there will be days I will need a storage service and I will definitely use A-1 Self storage on Ball Rd. and Knotts. Highly recommend the place. read more

I never thought I would be reviewing a storage unit location but here we are! My friend and I were looking for a spot that was convenient and wouldn't break the bank between the two of us. When looking for places on Yelp, A1 immediately popped up with the best reviews. I went on the website to look at the sizes as well as pricing and how to get going. I was so thrilled that they put everything on the website - many storage unit places will not tell you the price ahead of time which to me, is very uncomfortable. I placed a hold and advised we would move in the next day, and not even two minutes after the hold, they immediately gave me a call and asked if I had any questions or needed more info. Literally from the start the service was so prompt and I was shocked and happy. Next day we met with Crystal, who showed us around the unit, gave us the 411 (and shared some funny stores when we asked) and got us through the paperwork in record time. I think in total, even with dropping our things off, we were there for a little over an hour, which is a success in my book! So grateful to A1 for making the process of renting a unit hassle-free and truly anxiety-reducing. I can't imagine going anywhere else. Overall a great storage place with super friendly staff. Took off one star because the indoor units have no lighting inside which is a bit of a struggle as you can't really see everything so you will need to bring a flashlight with you. Also it can get very hot in those units so keep that in mind when you are moving stuff around. Rent is increased yearly by about $10 which isn't terrible, but there were no noticeable differences to the place, just remember that going into it the price will not stay the same throughout your time being there. The best thing about this place is the staff; they are all super friendly and very nice and go over everything with you when you first move in and answer any questions you may have. I would defiantly recommended this place if you are looking for storage needs! read more

Super friendly staff. The storage units are very safe! You have to use their special lock, but the reasoning behind that is it will not allow you to forget to lock your unit and leave through the gate. Your gate code includes your storage unit number. Price is pretty similar to what you pay for a storage unit. I highly recommend this place! read more
