I've used this place twice now and I definitely appreciate their customer service. They were able to accommodate my need to access a unit quickly and during late hours. Although, I didn't get confirmation that I could come back after hours the next night, the alarm didn't go off which meant they had received my message of me needing to access my unit late that night. I'm not sure about pricing since I didn't really compare with other places but this review is for their customer service and how nice and accommodating they can be. read more

It's no fun needing to put your stuff into storage BUT every single time I've needed to, I've always come back to THIS same place. The staff here has always been nice & the premises are always kept clean. I've always felt my belongings to be safe here as the location is well monitored 24hrs. Only once did I have a small rodent issue & as soon as I reported it, it was taken care of. The team here is so friendly and helpful. Originally we'd booked a 10x10 unit, and Stephanie was so kind and knowledgeable throughout the whole tour process. Upon moving day, we discovered that we needed to swap our unit for a slightly bigger one, and Stephanie and her coworkers made it happen very quickly and with ease. Todd is amazing!! He makes sure to explain things perfectly, without ever insulting your intelligence!! No matter how tired and worn-out you are, he gets you through the process quickly, without missing a beat! If you interrupt, which I did (I'm sorry Todd) several times, he gets right back on track without skipping a step. He walks you to the entrance and makes sure you don't have any issue getting in. He then escorts you to the unit and opens the door, he's a true gentleman. Todd buzzes around often, adding to he already secure feeling. A really nice gal walks around with a broom and dustpan (please pick up after yourself and make her job doable:). I've been a few times and haven't had any issues. Great customer service and Great deal!! I needed a storage space during my deployment for Amy training for 3months. Amy helped me out she was very polite and professional helped me with the signing up process and it was easy! I got a first month free deal for 5 by 10 space. It was a steal!! But even before moving in, my wife was allowed to stay at home so I found no reason to borrow storage space. I was worried about termination fee or penalty for canceling the service I haven't started yet but been over a week since I signed the contract. Despite my worries, Marisol helped me today and she made the process easy for me at no additional cost!! She even let me keep the free boxes that I received with Yelp check-in. Other than non-refundable Application, I didn't have to pay anything. Great Staff members and Great Service. I'm sure sooner than later there will be days I will need a storage service and I will definitely use A-1 Self storage on Ball Rd. and Knotts. Highly recommend the place. read more

I never thought I would be reviewing a storage unit location but here we are! My friend and I were looking for a spot that was convenient and wouldn't break the bank between the two of us. When looking for places on Yelp, A1 immediately popped up with the best reviews. I went on the website to look at the sizes as well as pricing and how to get going. I was so thrilled that they put everything on the website - many storage unit places will not tell you the price ahead of time which to me, is very uncomfortable. I placed a hold and advised we would move in the next day, and not even two minutes after the hold, they immediately gave me a call and asked if I had any questions or needed more info. Literally from the start the service was so prompt and I was shocked and happy. Next day we met with Crystal, who showed us around the unit, gave us the 411 (and shared some funny stores when we asked) and got us through the paperwork in record time. I think in total, even with dropping our things off, we were there for a little over an hour, which is a success in my book! So grateful to A1 for making the process of renting a unit hassle-free and truly anxiety-reducing. I can't imagine going anywhere else.
