The management is waaay too nice (not a bad thing), awesome service, awesome ppl, competitive prices. That's what I've come to expect from this A1, is A+! Before renting my very large unit, I shopped around for months, couldn't find anything even close to what their main st location had to offer, & at their price. It was the cheapest around. Spotless units, You will work with Patrick and Phyllis both of which couldn't be better and they are sure to get you the best bang for your buck. Patrick will go above and beyond no matter what. One time, a tweeker came in screaming and yelling that her locks were changed and she tried to fight one of the employees... The entire time A1 was super nice and courteous and extremely patient even with the crazy meth addict; i personally would have knocked her last few black teeth out but the staff was being super cool about it, just as they always are. Long-story short, Her locks weren't changed... she was trying to open the wrong door. read more

I've a few reviews some good some not good. Yes this place has get customer service. No place is completely save, but they do there best to protect what you have. That's why you should have insurance. You protect you home with the best security system and still your home gets broken into. As for the price if going up $15 are a little more is a problem, then you haven't been to Price storage. That's a place that will ripe you off. I've just movies In a unit. I'm happy with the people and the place. As for the security I feel it great. No place is really save not even your home think about that unhappy person. read more

Been renting a garage since November 2016. Clean facility. The friendly guy left and now it's an older lady. I haven't met her yet though. After reading online reviews and someone I know had highly recommended A-1, I'm glad I stopped in just to see what size I would need. Jessica was OUTSTANDING!! She explained everything, the sizes, costs & online payments. She showed me 2, very clean units. As we walked around she pointed out the security cameras. The place was very clean & secure. I have been a storage renter at many different locations. But, this place is clean, neat, and the management is caring, helpful and always available for you. Phyllis & Patrick bend over backwards to keep your patronage . And believe me, I have put them to the test on occasion. The only drawback is that the individual storage units have no electricity for lighting inside your personal unit. Bummer..If you are in the market for storing some items. check this place out. I have used this A-1 Self Storage on two occasions. The office is clean and the storage prices are competitive. What makes this location really stand out is the customer service. Great customer service these days is hard to find. The first time I showed up, Patrick was very helpful and took me on a tour of the facility. The woman that works there was very nice too. I'm not sure, but I believe they are both owners of that location which may explain why they took such a personal interest in giving me a great customer experience. read more

I have rented storage units before. Some of those for years at a time. While I was satisfied with those A-1 is the cleanest and friendliest I have encountered. Be very wary of this company! First off, they are more expensive than most other places. I rented a 5x5 for 50% off of usual $71/mo. On top of the $35.50,they added $20 (admin fee) and $10 (mandatory insurance that really didn't even cover my stuff) = $65 for a 5x5! Next month was going to be $81 for a 5x5?? No thank you. Found a cheaper unit. Got out in 26 days. Second thing, woman in the office said one thing but it wasn't listed in the agreement. When I went to note down in the agreement what she had just told me, she got very upset saying that nothing could be written on the agreement and if I didn't like it I could find another place. When I stated that I was only writing down what she told me, she got cool as ice and told me to take it or find another place. As I was there with a truck and friends waiting, she knew I was stuck and HAD to take it. Last thing I wanted to share is that I overheard the major storage unit owners (Like A-1) are getting together and PRICE FIXING storage units. So I recommend being aware and checking around. read more

Whenever I have had an issue with anything such as determining what size storage I needed for a second space, Patrick helped me figure it out. I have rented my unit for almost a year and up until June I was ok with the facility but then the worst nightmare happened to me and 9 others we were violated. This place has no security system in place our units were broken into and we were robbed. The staff and management did shocked me with how little this incident was to them and how I was lied to in the beginning with my first question was "will my stuff be safe here. The lady reasurred me that each unit has it's own alarm and will go off if it is opened and your gate code wasnt entered. That is a lie once they turn the gate code box off at 8 all the units are no longer protected at all your everyone's alarm gets shut off. I stayed after closing time for an hour just to see how vulnerable our stuff really is. There's no cameras in the hall the buildings have no locks. The men who robbed our units got in the front gate walked all the way to the very last door on the left went in upstairs and hit different units in the hall off to the left . What's strange is these units hit were scattered on this row almost like these men knew exactly which ones to hit. They had to because in my unit they only took the bags that had my most valuable things alot that cannot ever be replaced and they didn't touch or move anything else in my unit. Whoever did this knew they didn't have to worry about the noise they made and had to have know they didn't need to rush. Once they got the things they wanted they WALKED out the front gate. This is insane and gets crazier! The first thing when I showed up to see the heartbreaking loss and devastation I was given insurance paperwork to file a claim and be compensated oh and they didn't even call the cops they made me and each individual call ourselves. The cop only came out to do an inventory so that we could get a report number for the insurance people. No investigation no compensation I mean if I was the owner I'd feel so horrible I'd have given those tenants a free month in hopes I didn't loose them over this. I wouldn't recommend this place unless all you have is junk you really don't care about because your stuff is free to the taking to anyone with lock cutters. I am getting my things out of there and believe me I am not gonna stop pushing this company to up or I'm sorry add the Security they promise prospective renters. If any of you that got their until broken into please contact me ASAP I have some pretty important information to tell you. Caliblue1984 at yahoo.
