Beware! The owner and his crew are untrustworthy and, in my opinion, running their shop to capture and exploit uninformed visitors. Facts about my experience: 1) When I called to setup an pest inspection for a property I was planning on purchasing, they manipulated me by outright rejecting my request on the phone and asked that my agent should call instead to schedule the inspection!! I am the freaking buyer and I am going to be paying the bill for their services and I am not allowed to schedule the inspection?? 2) The time provided to the agent was so large a range that the the agent wasn't sure when exactly these folks are going to show up on the property. 3) As it happened, on the day of the inspection, by the time we arrived, we didn't see a trace of their inspector. Swish! Vanished! 4) Then a week passed, two, three and then I started receiving emails about payment. But hey! I didn't receive any inspection report!!! Was any work done? they should send a report that is cross signed by buyer and or seller who was present during the inspection. Nada. No report. 5) I called them after 3 weeks to ask for the report -- promptly they sent me some shit report, -- and there was no signature of any other party, just the inspector alone!! What a farce. 6) It seems to me that the whole operation is untrustworthy. Such a waste of time and energy. Stay away from these folks. Actions I took: I complained to the BBB, Department of Public Health and the Illinois Attorney General. The AG's office is considering investigating these people. read more

I just want everyone to know about the GREAT experience I had with A-Action. I had a carpenter ant problem- BAD real bad. My first thought was orkin or another super company, dead wrong. Do you want great service call A- Action up. What their mission goal states is true. All they care about is fixing your problem. And unlike other companies, you pay when your satisfied with their service. I remember after their first visit asking about payment- their words were do you still have ants? Do I have to say anymore. August 2012, found a wasps' nest on the outside of my house next to my backyard patio. The nest was very large and had constant activity making our patio unusable. Typically try to take care of problems like this myself, but decided to call A-Action Pest Control. After discussing options decided on the "Power Treatment" and within a few days the nest was gone and the entire house was treated. A few days later noticed some lingering activity, so called and they came right back and solved the problem. Overall, A-Action Pest Control is very knowledgeable and courteous. We scheduled a spraying for wasps at our Antioch Lakehouse with A-Action for 7/14/2021. We originally planned not to be at the location during spraying but our plans changed at the last minute. When we arrived we watched Alex on the roof spraying every nook and cranny for wasps. He did not know we had arrived and were watching his handiwork. A-Action have handled a variety of pest control needs for us and their service has been excellent very time. They are timely and effective in regular seasonal pest spraying, but also do an amazing job on more complex projects. They removed bats (and their waste) from our new attic, and handled a skunk infestation under our deck. After months of ignoring noises coming from my attic I decided to take a look myself. To my surprise there was a family of squirrels living in there. I called A-Action and they were able to come out the same day and showed me how they were getting in. They also installed a device that would allow them to leave and not get back in. After 2 days the squirrels were gone and the point of entry was permanently closed off. The service they provided was timely and excellent!
