I had used Clawson for regular service for a couple years. When they had a 2 week wait and my HVAC…read morewent out at first I was concerned. Turns out this was the best thing that could happen. Upon the new company arriving they did an examination and noted there was an air filter that Clawson had never told me existed. It was apparent that they never changed it. He described it that the filter has a lifetime of dust. He said it looked as if it had never been changed in the life of the unit. I was so disappointed. They had never told me my ducts were dirty, never shown me my outside filter, and the place they put a filter inside didn't need it!! Why pay for the preventative maintenance program if it means nothing and they do not even clean and examine the unit? When I tried to call, the "answering service" picked up and would not even connect me to the office. I left a message but of course was never called back. Very disappointed I spent all that money and was totally taken advantage of. The repair due to their negligence was 1,000 dollars. Safe to say I am never using them again.

Hands down the most transparent, honest and reliable heating & air conditioning company in…read morePortland. Just take a look at their detailed invoice, trust me, not too many companies in this line of business give you this because they're hiding work or lack there of. We hired them during the 2021 heatwave when our AC went kaputs, they actually answered their phone and responded within 24-48 hours. They had us cold as ice in no time, not only did we appreciate the work ethic but we also purchased the year round maintenance package they offer, totally worth it. This gives up 2 complete tunes ups, which are really well done, again the details are in the invoice. Thank you Clawson and hard working technician Justin ! All & All ; Dear God I hope you read this review before you have a nightmare experience like I had prior to finding this company.

The Precision team installed a new Goodman AC unit recently at my house. It works BEAUTIFULLY…read more keeping the house very cool but there is a slight pulsing noise I still hear from the compressor. Tim and Eduard (and others on the team) have been and are working diligently to help quiet the noise down for me. I am unfortunately sensitive to noise. The entire team has been VERY prompt in addressing my issues and in coming out to my house. We are almost there in dampening the noise a little further. This team is wonderful and cares deeply about having happy customers. I am so appreciative!

I'm not a big reviewer, but I had a very not good experience with this very highly rated business…read moreand I feel like warning others is appropriate. We recently purchased a home. The sellers had installed 2 new direct-to-consumer brand (Zokop) heat pumps with 4 heads (2 for each) in the home roughly 1 year ago (they are not providing records, but this is a reasonable estimate). After move-in, we noticed an error on the head unit in our son's room. Precision had previously repaired a broken AC at my small business 2 years ago. It was a good experience then, so I was excited to hire them again. They sent 2 technicians to our house, Edgar and Dylan, to service the units and diagnose. Long story short: Dylan broke the fan in one of the good units, which was maybe a year old (per Edgar's estimation based on some technical detail about Freon...you'd have to ask him) and previously working perfectly. He stuck a probe thermometer in the unit to check its efficiency and then caught the fan blade with it as he pulled it out. There was a CRUNCH and 3 bits of plastic fell out. He said "what was that?" and otherwise shrugged it off. No apology. No taking of responsibility, no solution or assessment offered. Completely unprofessional. I stayed calm, paid for their service, and got them out of my house. They assessed the issue with the other unit to be a Freon leak and quoted for repair. Shortly afterwards, I did a small amount of googling and concluded it was likely the fan. The following week, their office called to schedule the leak repair and I asked to speak to the service manager. His name is Wendell. He asked for a photo of the broken pieces (same one I'm posting here) as well as a photo of the label on the unit, which I also provided. He said he'd see what he could figure out. 1 week went by, I called back, he said he couldn't find anything about the unit or source parts, but if I find the part, they could install it. Not a good solution. I stayed calm and said I would think about it. Here's the thing, I'm also a repair-based contractor. Sometimes, I make a mistake and break something. We're all human, but our mistakes are our responsibility. I can't imagine breaking a customer's perfectly good thing and then just acting like, well, nothing I can do. Total BS. You can't find the part? Buy us a new unit. Too expensive? File an insurance claim. You came into my house, broke a new, working thing, and then left me high and dry. Completely unacceptable. Anyway, I thought about it, decided I don't want these clowns in my house again, and I don't want to keep asking them to act like adults with a sense of responsibility. I hired another company to fix the freon leak. They charged $100 more than what Precision quoted me but also did the assessment and repair the same day. That technician verified these pieces are from the "blower wheel," which is just another word for fan. I still have not resolved the issue with the fan Precision broke. They have a responsibility to make this right, but I'm sure it's on nobody's to do list. Maybe they read their reviews?
