This company is the BEST! The job was completed exactly how & when they said it would be. I messed something up on my end with a different company, but at the time thought it was Two Brothers issue. They came out the next day showed me the error that was made & fixed the problem even though it wasn't theirs to fix. They completed the original install with no one home very trustworthy. If you'd like to have a heat pump installed in your home, I highly recommend 2Brothers for the job. We wanted a Daikin heat pump and had estimates from three companies on the Daikin contractors list. We asked for a specific heat pump model with the new R32 refrigerant, but the two other contractors put an old model in the estimate. 2Brothers was also the most reasonable price-wise. And we couldn't have been happier with them. We wanted to take advantage of the Oregon Heat Pump Purchase Program that had just been launched. They weren't participating yet, but after we asked about it, Lisa, who runs the office, filed the papers, and we were able to get the $2,000 rebate. Beyond that, Charlie, the brother, who does the estimates; Casey, the brother who does the installation along with Max; and Lisa (they make up the entire company) were all professional and pleasant to deal with. This business is ligit and I would highly recommend them due to my recent experiences with them. In late October we began to have issues with our 17+ year old Lennox furnace not heating consistently. I live in Canby so I contacted an outfit in Aurora who originally installed our furnace and air conditioner. I requested to have them come out to troubleshoot the issue with my furnace. I was told there would be a diagnostic fee of $89. I wasn't thrilled with it, but really didn't think I had much of a choice. As I was setting up an appointment I was told I needed to provide a credit card number to hold the appointment. Right away that rubbed me wrong and told them I would not give them my credit card number. I told them I would be finding some other HVAC company as I thought that was such a strange business model. Now 2Brothers comes into play. I started to search HVAC companies on Yelp in the local area and found great reviews on 2Brothers. I called and spoke to Lisa. Like most HVAC companies they were busy and gave me a date of November 16th. I agreed as we have a gas fireplace and radiant heaters to keep the house warm till then. No credit card required. On November 16th Charlie shows up right on time. He diagnosed our furnace had a dirty flame rod. Unit worked fine for about ten days, but then stopped working. I called 2Brothers, spoke to Lisa and they came out the next day. Charlie diagnosed a bad circuit board. He replaced the board and we were up and running. At this point I was tired feeding money into this old unit thus requested a quote for a new furnace and air conditioner which was provided by Charlie. About a week later the furnace began to not work again. Called Charlie directly and explained the symptoms. He diagnosed my ignitor was bad. He could have come out, but to save me some money and since I have some electrical background Charlie suggested I watch an ignitor repair online. I did, ordered the part I needed and installed the ignitor. It began to work again. Unit worked for about another week and then stopped working. Called Charlie and explained the symptoms. He suggested I check the voltage from circuit board to the ignitor. I got zero voltage. I checked the ohms from the ignitor and got zero ohms. At this point both circuit board and ignitor weren't working it appeared. Lisa called me and said Kacey would be out the next day to fix the unit. He shows up right on time, troubleshoots the unit to confirm the failures. He leaves to get a new circuit board and shows up an hour later to replace it. Replaced the ignitor too. Since the defective board isn't their fault I expected to be charged labor to replace. Nope. I wasn't charged however I gave him a deposit check for a new furnace and air conditioner as I was concerned how much longer this 17+ year old unit would maintain working. I lined everything up with Lisa for the new install. Date was set for January 18th. We continued to have concerns hoping the old Lennox furnace would stay working till then. I get a call from Lisa stating they had an open date on December 18th due to a delay on another project. We were thrilled. The entire 2Brothers crew showed up and installed our new American Standard high efficiency furnace and air conditioner. They did a great job on the install. All their employees are great to work with and I would highly recommend them. Lisa followed up later on County Inspection and to assure all was well. My 5 year old furnace started making a rattling sound and I decided to get it checked. The furnace had not been inspected since installation (5 yrs ago) and I also wanted to get the 21 point inspection done. I called 2 Brothers HnC based on excellent reviews on Yelp and I am very pleased with their service. Lisa (the receptionist) promptly scheduled our service. She is very patient and had a friendly demeanor when dealing with me. Charlie (one of the owners) looked at our furnace. He did a great job and took the time to explain a few basic maintenance items to me. He completed the 21 point inspection and in doing so, also found the minor issue that was causing the rattling sound. The team at 2 Brothers is incredible. We had them install a ductless HVAC system at our house and they made the process seamless and enjoyable. The crew that performed the work was friendly, timely, considerate and cleaned up when they left. We found this business through our existing systems' website. We wanted to add an additional ductless unit to our system. They were very responsive via email and were able to get us scheduled quickly. They answered all our questions about what our system could handle.
