I was stranded for 4 hours by AAA, they didnt even call me, I had to call them just for them to tell me that the driver left because he couldnt help us.... i called quite a few other people before I found A&B but Ben was very responsive, professional and reasonable. It was already dark outside by the time he got all the proper equipment to help us but that didnt stop him, whereas others told me that i would have to wait until the morning for resolution. Horrible people, horrible service! My car had just been hit when a kid ran a red light I was upset and traumatized by the accident itself, but when the tow truck driver barked and cussed at me for absolutely no reason, it just made matters worse How someone can be so crude and barbaric to someone who was already in tears and violated, is beyond me! If I could put negative stars for this company, I would! My car was parked on the north east corner of Valley Circle / Burbank. The keys were left in the glove compartment. My insurance company contacted you to pick up the car. Your driver who told me his name was Frank called me to ask where the keys are. (The phone was on speaker) I told him they are in the glove compartment. He asked me again, and I told him again, when he asked the 3rd time, my son and I both yelled...IN THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT. I asked him for the address he was taking my car. He said 7519 Woodman, he had an accent and was very hard to understand, so I asked him to repeat the address. He then said 7215 Woodman. I asked him if he was sure, as he had now given me 2 addresses. He said yes, Im taking your car to the junk yard at 7215 Woodman. I did yell at this point...WHAT???NO!!! My car is supposed to be taken to some place to have the damage appraised. I asked him again for his name and the name of the towing company. He told me his name was Ben and he worked for AB Express towing. He then yelled at me saying "Lady, I dont have time to deal with you" and hung up. My son googled your phone number as the number Frank/Ben gave me was incorrect. He called from his cell and spoke with someone named Ben who argued with him about the driver. My son then did a yelp review. 10 seconds after he posted the comment above my son received a phone call from the tow company. They asked if he just posted a review, he told them yes and was then told you are "a fucking asshole" I called my insurance company and told the claims rep what happened and asked WHY my car was being taken to a junk yard. He told me my car was being taken to Copart to be appraised and made a complaint with the dispatcher at USAA insurance about your company. I told him I sincerely hope they NEVER use your company again! read more
