The worst experience I've ever encountered!!! Horrible customer service!! The man here was extremely rude and just didn't care to help me!! I called my BMW roadside once my electric car ran out of juice. I was stranded on the 101 right before the exit trying to make it to the charge station. I was informed that I had to pay $170 for a tow truck to come to take to 500 feet to the charge station. Crazy right?! But I still paid and waited . After waiting and hour and a half for the tow truck he finally arrived and took me 500 feet to the charge station. By the time he came my car had completely died! Because of that I couldn't open my car to get it charged at which point HE told me it was a BMW about 1000 feet down! Mind you, when I ordered the tow truck the dispatcher explained the for the price I paid I get up to 10miles of service and anything after that will cost me $4.25 a mile. I didn't even go a half a mile! Long story short after calling back my bmw dispatcher the tow driver was told to put my car back on the truck and take me to the BMW dealer 1000 feet north from my location. I called my bf to tell him what was going on as I had become emotional about my stressful day. He explained to me that upon calling the tow company they mad him pay ANOTHER $150 to take me 1000. He clearly didn't know what was going on or what I had already paid!! Fraud!! So they charged me $320 to take me less then half a mile!!! Wow!! Once I found out that they charged my card another $150 I called and demanded they give me back my money and that I paid for 10miles and didn't even use half a mile. The owner apologized and told me that he will be refunding me the $150 on Monday! Now, Monday's comes and the manger refused to let me speak to the owner I spoke with Saturday. He continues to tell me that he will NOT be reimbursing me the money they pretty much stole from me and that I took two trips so thats two separate transactions!! If that's not highway robbery I don't know what is!!! You guys should be Ashamed of yourself for running a business in such a manner!!! I will be reporting this as fraud as you did not have my permission to charge my card!!! You guys really need to learn not just how to run a business but to have the proper customer service!! Customer service is a huge portion in running a respectable business! Not to mention I'm one of the most polite, respectable well mannered people you can deal with. I kill people with kindness and am very easy to deal with. I've never written a negative review about anyone but after get hung up on for disputing a fraud charge. Today I had my car towed from Mission Hills to Glendale. I called yesterday and set up the appointment for 7:30am this morning. My car was parked about a half a mile from my home so I went over a bit early so I didn't miss the driver. 7:30 passes so at 7:41 I call the company to see how long it would be before my car was picked up. The guy on the phone asked what car, when I gave him my make and model he said "ooh that's right, I'll send a driver right now. He will be there in 5 mins". So they basically forgot about my appointment. 26 mins have passed (now 8:07am) and still no driver. I call again to double check that he is on his way and has the correct place, the guy on the phone informs me that the driver is stuck and traffic and will be there in 3 mins. He then tells me that the driver is on the streets that I gave him, then hangs up on me. Needless to say the driver finally arrived at 8:18am. The driver himself was very nice and pleasant, but the professionalism of the person who takes the calls is lacking. I had an appointment in Glendale at 8am and I stressed over the phone I needed to be there latest 8:30. I'm not sure which end of the operation this falls on but I had high hopes for this business. I will probably give them another chance if I need a tow but I will make sure there is no time crunch because obviously that doesn't matter to them. After getting the run around from another tow company I decided to try the Yelp's Request Quote feature as I needed to get my unique car towed to the shop for repairs. I had a response from Ben (the owner) within a few minutes and it was the best quote I received. I said I have a half hour window to get my car picked up and Ben said it wouldn't be a problem. The driver showed up with his very good condition flat-bed tow truck up on time!!!!! The driver was courteous and very professional throughout the entire process. Shortly after completing the paperwork my car was on the truck and off to the shop. I would highly recommend this company if you need to get your vehicle towed. I'd like to give Express Tow 4 stars because they took just over an hour to arrive (as I sat on the sidewalk beside my overheated car) when they stated 30-35 minutes, but when the driver showed up he was very pleasant and just a good guy. No drama, no nonsense, just easy. He loaded the car, I jumped in the truck which was nice and clean (a pleasant surprise), we had some light conversation and an easy drive. $75 plus $5 per mile seemed reasonable for a flatbed (AWD car) and 17 miles later I was home with my broken car I'm giving them 5 stars because there was no undue BS to deal with, which is a nice thing in a world full of dishonesty read more

However a friend was in distress, so against my better judgement I head across the street of my apartments to lend my compadre a hand. After he kindly did so , he stuck his hand out and said "$100 bucks please." My mothers mouth nearly dropped . Our car had previously gotten stuck before , a few miles over , costing us $80 bucks . You mean to tell me , that you're going to charge us 100 smackaroos for an across the street tow ?!!! My mom swore she'd write a bad review . So here I am , letting you all know . If you have money to wipe your ass with, this is your place . Oh , he did give my mom $20 bucks back . Who charges $150.00 for a 2 mile tow? They do.... Who charges $658 to your insurance company for a 8 mile tow? They do.... These people eyes lite up when they can charge exorbitant fees to your insurance company. But don't be fooled, it's a scam they're running. It was like he was making up the numbers as he went along. i had to tow my car and Ben from this company was referred to me. I gave them a call. Its a $50 hook up charge and then an additional amount per mile. I was originally quoted $65 from my mechanic after he spoke with Ben on my behalf. I called and set up an appointment for 4:20. He got there a liiiiittle later but close enough. He was very professional and got my car up on the flat bed without letting the front end scrape (slammed M5). He also helped unload the car and push it up an incline for a short distance. He ended up charging me $75. That's where they lost 1 star. I was going to give him $75 anyways($10 tip for helping) but i just didn't like how i was misquoted. Overall great guy and awesome service. Price is very reasonable considering other towing companies charge you $90 just to hook up + additional $$$ per mile. read more

Found this company via a Cragslist ad. Called and they told me it was $60 to tow my motorcycle to the repair shop. Driver made it on time and loaded up my bike. Then he hit me with "did they tell you about the mileage surcharge?" I told him no I was quoted a flat $60. Well he said it is $10 a mile surcharge!!! That would be triple the quoted price. I balked and said I didn't want thier service anymore, he got an attitude and was like well you have to pay $60 even if I take it off the truck right now. I asked what if I don't want to pay the $60 fee. He told me they would take my motorcyce to the yard until I paid. So I reluctently had my bike towed since I was stuck. However I do not recomend this company and get any quotes in writing before you allow them to touch your vehicle! read more

But obviously I needed it so I said ya okay I'm on reseda and prairie. He told me it would take about an hour to get to me. I waited the full hour and then some only to have them not show up. Don't ever call these guys they're straight up ripoffs!! I got my car towed from DeSoto to Encino Mercedes Benz dealer they tried to charge me $170 most likely cause is a Mercedes-Benz S 600. After going back-and-forth with the guy came down $155 which is still a rip off to me because I towed this car three other times three different company's and no more than $80 is what they charged me for the same distance. These guys are awesome! Called and spoke with Ben and told him that I was out of town and my wife had just gotten into a car accident (she is fine fender bender) and needed the car towed. After asking for the location Ben said one of his drivers Vic was in the area and would be there in 10-15 MINUTES! Amazing!! Vic came by and my wife told me he was the nicest guy her words "Asked me if I was okay and made me feel comfortable after the unfortunate accident" When I called my wife to ask her how everything was going she said good and they were loading up car onto the tow truck. I heard Vic ask my wife. "Where is the drop off location? Your home or a body shop" Both me and wife hesitated should we take home? Should we try to find a body shop? My wife asked Vic " Do you have any body shops you can recommend?" Luckily not only did Vic know a body shop they are also a great company and are working with our auto insurance provider to get our repairs done. Only issue I had was I had to wait over an hour and a half. Yes, that sounds like it is a big issue, but I had time on my side. Also, it was a busy hot day for tow truckers. I was told over the phone that it would be 15 minutes to an hour for a tow truck to arrive.
